THIS WINCH MOUNTING KIT CAN BE USED TO MOUNT
EITHER CYCLE COUNTRY WINCHES OR OTHER
AFTERMARKET WINCHES TO YOUR UTV.
Please Note:
All directions referring to right and left are when the rider is sitting on the
machine.
Mounting of winches can be accomplished using either the 2-bolt pattern or
the 4-bolt patterns (inner and outer holes), depending on the manufacturer.
See Illustration.

WINCH MOUNT INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Remove the front grill on the UTV and remove or loosen bottom skid
plate.
2. Place the winch mount inside of the front UTV grill and align the two
outside holes on the winch mount with the two existing holes on the
UTV frame. Secure the winch mount using two 3/8” x 1” bolts, 3/8”
flatwashers and two 3/8” nylock nuts. Do not tighten attaching
hardware at this time.

3. For all winches other than 4000 lb. : (If using a 4000 lb. winch, go to
instructions on page 7) Place the roller hawse mount plate on the
inside of the tubing and on top of the winch mount. Attach the roller
hawse mount plate to the winch mount at the outer holes with two 3/8”
x 1” bolts and two 3/8” nylock nuts as seen in the picture below.
4. Go to instructions for your Winch.

MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
Be sure that when the winch is mounted to the UTV, the winch motor is on the
LEFT side of the machine. Align the two holes on the winch up to the two slotted
holes on the winch mount and attach with 5/16” x 1” bolts, flatwashers and nylock
nuts.
GO TO NEXT INSTRUCTION.
4-BOLT WINCH
MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
Be sure that when the winch is mounted to the UTV, the winch motor is on the
RIGHT side of the machine. Align the winch with holes noted on drawing below
and attach the winch with the four bolts provided with the winch. The roller hawse
mount plate that comes with the winch will not be used.
GO TO NEXT INSTRUCTION.

4000 LB. WINCH
MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
Be sure that when the winch is mounted to the UTV the winch motor is on the
RIGHT side of the machine. Align the winch and the roller hawse mount plate that
came with the winch, with the holes noted on drawing below and attach the winch
with the four bolts provided with the winch. The roller hawse mount plate that
came with the winch mount kit will not be used.
Install a 3/8” x 1” bolt and nylock nut through holes noted below. The other 3/8”
bolt and nylock nut will not be used.
GO TO NEXT INSTRUCTION.
5. Install Roller Hawse
Remove one of the long rollers and the two side rollers and feed the winch cable
through the roller hawse. Reinstall the rollers and be sure rollers move freely.
Attach the roller hawse to the roller hawse mount plate using the 3/8” x 1” bolts and
nylock nuts provided with the winch. Tighten all hardware.
See Winch Wiring Instructions supplied with the Winch for proper installation.

Tighten all attaching hardware at this time.
6. Re-install front grill of ATV.

CYCLE COUNTRY WINCH SWITCH MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS:
NOTE: Other winch manufacturers may require a different assembly process or alternate
hardware to attach switch to the bracket.
To mount the winch switch, remove the auxiliary switch bracket (A) and
place the winch switch inside the switch mount bracket. Align the two
holes of the winch switch mount bracket with the mounting holes in the
switch. Fasten with nuts and screws provided with the winch switch. Hand-
tighten fasteners only.
Mount the assembled switch housing in a location that suits your needs,
using the switch mount back plate for support. Hand-tighten fasteners only.

For the period of one year from the purchase date Cycle Country Accessories
Corporation will replace for the original purchaser, free of charge, any part or parts, when
found, upon examination by Cycle Country Accessories Corporation, to be defective in
material, workmanship, or both.
All transportation cost incurred by the purchaser in submitting the material to
Cycle Country Accessories Corporation for replacement under this warranty must be
borne by the purchaser. If Cycle Country Accessories Corporation determines that the
p
roduct must be returned to the factory for credit please call 1-800-841-2222 for an RMA
number and shipping instructions.
The warranty does not apply to parts that have been damaged by accident,
alteration, abuse, improper lubrication, normal wear, or other causes beyond Cycle
Country Accessories Corporation’s control. Products such as engines, electric motors,
and actuators may carry an original manufacturer’s warranty. Please call Cycle Country
Accessories Corporation for information.
