THIS WINCH MOUNTING KIT CAN BE USED TO MOUNT EITHER
A CYCLE COUNTRY 1500/2500/3000 WINCH OR AFTERMARKET
2500/3000 WINCH TO YOUR ATV.
Please Note:
All directions referring to right and left are when the rider is sitting on the
machine.
Mounting of winches can be accomplished using either the 2-bolt pattern
or the 4-bolt patterns (inner and outer holes), depending on the
manufacturer. See Illustration.
If installing a Cycle Country blade mount, install the winch before
installing the blade mount.

WINCH MOUNT INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Remove the front plastic guard and OEM winch plate. Retain the bolts and
nuts to be reused later. See pictures below

2. Use the illustration on page 3 to determine the mounting location for the
CYC5318 roller hawse mount plate based on your winch application.
Attach the roller hawse mount plate to the winch mount plate using
included 5/16” x 1” carriage bolts and nylock nuts. NOTE: If your winch
included a roller hawse mount plate, it will not be needed.
3. Install the winch mount plate assembly into place using hardware that was
removed from the OEM winch plate.

4. Install your winch to the winch mount plate using the guide shown in Step 2.
5. Remove one of the long rollers and the two side rollers and feed the winch cable
through the roller hawse. Reinstall the rollers and be sure rollers move freely.
6. Attach the roller hawse to the roller hawse mount plate using the bolts and nuts
provided with the Winch. Tighten all hardware.

7. Reinstall front plastic guard.

CYCLE COUNTRY WINCH SWITCH MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS:
NOTE: Other winch manufacturers may require a different assembly
process or alternate
hardware to attach switch to the bracket.
To mount the winch switch, remove the auxiliary switch bracket (A) and
place the winch switch inside the switch mount bracket. Align the two
holes of the winch switch mount bracket with the mounting holes in the
switch. Fasten with nuts and screws provided with the winch switch.
Hand-tighten fasteners only.
Mount the assembled switch housing in a location that suits your
needs, using the switch mount back plate for support. Hand-tighten
fasteners only.

Corporation will replace for the original purchaser, free of charge, any part or parts, when
found, upon examination by Cycle Country Accessories Corporation, to be defective in
material, workmanship, or both.
All transportation cost incurred by the purchaser in submitting the material to
Cycle Country Accessories Corporation for replacement under this warranty must be
borne by the purchaser. If Cycle Country Accessories Corporation determines that the
p
roduct must be returned to the factory for credit please call 1-800-841-2222 for an RMA
number and shipping instructions.
The warranty does not apply to parts that have been damaged by accident,
alteration, abuse, improper lubrication, normal wear, or other causes beyond Cycle
Country Accessories Corporation’s control. Products such as engines, electric motors,
and actuators may carry an original manufacturer’s warranty. Please call Cycle Country
Accessories Corporation for information.
