double door surface applied installations.

 Product description
. Intended use.
The ED is a low energy electromechanical operator
used exclusively for opening and closing interior swing
doors.
The ED operator is installed in a surface mount
header at customer site. The header must be installed
on an interior building surface.
For double swing doors, both operators are installed in a
single header.

ED is supplied only as a low energy operator.
• The operator is supplied with a reduced power motor
and a brake. The brake is used during door hold open
time.
WARNING
To reduce risk of injury to persons, use this ED50
operator only with a swing door for which the
ED50 is designed for. Reference Chapter 7,
Technical data.

operator size.
