1. Read rst: Safety informaon
Always read and follow the safety informaon
accompanied by this symbol.
• User’s should pay parcular aenon to the potenal for
interference from other systems operang in the same or
adjacent radio frequency bands.
• The compartment covers on the backside may be opened
only by authorised persons in accordance with the
instrucons in the service manual.
• Baery replacement may be performed only by authorised
persons in accordance with the instrucons in the
Maintenance secon. Only use recommended baery type
as stated in the Technical Data secon.
CAUTION
Only use baeries, power supply and accessories that
have been approved for use with this parcular model.
Connecng other accessories may be dangerous and may
invalidate the type approval and guarantee.
• Only use recommended power supply as stated in the
Technical Data secon.
• The power supply can be used as a disconnecng device.
The wall socket shall be installed near the equipment and
shall be easily accessible.

2. Important informaon
All systems using radio and network communicaon are
subject to interference beyond the user’s control.
Products from Doro are designed to minimise the impact of
such interference.
Nevertheless, the user must be aware that system
components can be subjected to interference or other
inuences that may cause malfuncon.
It is therefore important to regularly check that every
part of the system works in all areas, especially radio
communicaons. Contact your supplier immediately in case
of any suspected malfuncon.
Users should pay parcular aenon to the risk of disrupon
from products which communicate using the same or
adjacent radio frequency bands.

4. Descripon of funcons
Doro Eliza is a digital social alarm and smartcare hub.
Adaptable for future needs and connects to a wide range of
accessories and welfare services – enabling the user a tailor
made soluon
Doro Eliza has a built in module for 2G, 3G and 4G mobile
networks, the unit has possibility to transfer alarms over
broadband/network connecons and mobile telephone
networks. The unit oers the user the possibility of two way
voice communicaon using exisng standard for VoIP (Voice
over Internet Protocol) calling. The unit uses SIP, a standard
protocol to iniate speech and video over broadband
connecons. In addion to voice connected alarm calls,
Doro Eliza oers a plaorm for transfer of detailed alarm
informaon, speech messages, online status etc.
The Doro Eliza is assigned an unique idencaon number
(ID) that is transferred and corresponding to personal
informaon stored in the alarm receiving centre (ARC).
The radio trigger is adapted for use with the unit, see 9.

Acvate the alarm
The assistance alarm can be acvated:
• by pressing the buon on a radio trigger.
• by pressing the red integral buon on the Doro Eliza.
On acvaon, the Doro Eliza calls an alarm receiver to
summon help.
Alarm transmiers
50 radio transmiers (triggers/sensors) can be programmed
with the Doro Eliza, e.g. a radio trigger. In the event of an
alarm from a radio transmier, the baery status of the radio
transmier is tested.
Alarm receivers
Up to 10 alarm receivers can be programmed. The alarm is
idened using an alarm code which is programmed into the
Doro Eliza. An alarm placed to a private receiver is idened
by a recorded voice ID.
The person receiving the alarm can then speak directly with
the person raising the alarm and take appropriate acon.
