Draper manufactures the most innovative and complete line of ceiling-recessed
motorized projection screens. Ceiling-recessed motorized screens add versatil-
ity to any presentation room. Out of sight when not needed, they are perfect for
facilities where a variety of display technologies are combined. A well-designed
system gets the message across effectively, without intrusion from the technology.
Series V projection screens feature Draper’s Tab Tensioning System. Tab
tensioning maintains a perfectly flat viewing surface, suitable for even the most
demanding applications, including computer-driven data and graphics presenta-
tions, as well as large-screen video images.
All other screens are non-tensioned. They are manufactured with textile-backed,

fiberglass-base materials which offer an acceptably flat viewing
surface, based on the thickness and weight of the screen surface
and dowel. An important part of Draper’s inspection process for
screens of this type is to make sure the screen is as flat as possible.
Draper’s most advanced ceiling-recessed screens are the Access
and Ultimate Access series. These products feature extruded
aluminum cases, complete with ceiling trim flanges, so instal-
lation is easy. Quick-release latching brackets and pin electical
connection enable quick and easy screen upgrades if projector or
screen surface technology should change.
The Ultimate Access case features an independently motorized
“trap door” ceiling closure. The door opens into the case, so it is
never visible from the audience area.

For complete flexibility in installation, choose a motorized screen for wall or
ceiling installation. These products may be mounted on the wall or suspended
almost anywhere. They are generally less expensive to purchase and install than
ceiling-recessed screens.
The Premier and Targa are Draper’s most popular wall/ceiling motorized
screens. Choose the Premier for a tab-tensioned screen, or the Targa when a
free-hanging screen is required. Both products may be installed above the ceiling
using the optional Ceiling Opening Trim Kit (see page 7).
For quick and easy setup, with no electrician required, choose the Salara/Plug
& Play™. The Salara’s sleek aluminum case has an elliptical shape and futuris-
tic look. Under the hood, you’ll find built-in IR and a handy 10´ electrical cord.
Salara is also available in a conventional hardwired form. The Baronet offers a
10´electrical cord and inline switch with a simple white steel pentagonal case.
The Silhouette and Artisan screens are designed to complement the décor

of fine meeting rooms. The Silhouette features a streamlined
aluminum shape, while the Artisan’s solid hardwood case suits
traditional settings. The Artisan case is also available in sleek,
contemporary plastic laminates.
The Premier, Silhouette/Series V and Artisan/Series V fea-
ture Draper’s Tab Tensioning System for a perfectly flat view-
ing surface. Computer-driven data graphics’ presentations and
large-screen video images always look best on a tensioned screen.

All the features available in motorized projection screens are also offered with
manual operation. Some manual screens may be recessed above the ceiling, while
others feature elegant designer cases. They can be non-tensioned or tab-tensioned
(Series C, with crank operation). So, when the budget or installation consid-
erations don’t permit motorized screens, you don’t have to “settle” for a simple
classroom screen.
Want a more finished look to the ceiling? Choose the Apex or Access/Series M.
Both feature ceiling tile flange to make recessed installation easy and attractive.
The Apex also includes a unique ceiling closure.

Mor Silhouette/Series M, or Series C, with tab tensioning. The Artisan/Series
Mfeatures a solid hardwood case for a more traditional, elegant appearance, or choice
of a plastic laminate case for a more modern look.
The Luma and Luma 2 are Draper’s most popular manually operated screens. They
both feature pentagonal steel cases with a white finish. Easy to install almost any-

For rooms where the screen remains in place at all times—whether auditoriums
or dedicated home theatres—Draper offers a variety of fixed or permanently
tensioned screens. The primary advantage of permanently tensioned screens is
that the screen surface is perfectly flat, which provides better image quality. A
flat surface means better resolution of the projected image—in other words a
sharper picture.
Lightweight and easy to install. Attractive and functional. Ideal in a command
and control center, boardroom, training center, home theatre or anywhere a
superior image quality is required.
The Onyx and Clarion provide a clean, elegant look. The viewing surface is
taut behind a beveled black frame. No snaps, so the surface is perfectly flat and
free of puckers. For a borderless look, choose the WrapAround Clarion.
The Cineperm and ShadowBox Clarion both are attached with snaps—
Cineperm snaps are set in borders and are snapped to the front of the frame,
while ShadowBox surfaces snap to the back of a black frame.
For large or custom screens, Lace & Grommet and Cineperm screens are avail-
able in a wide range of sizes.
