Assembly tips
Before you begin, it's best to identify all parts and fittings to build your bed.
We advise laying these out on the floor to check you have everything, and
familiarising yourself before building.
Safety and care
It's really important to ensure children and animals are kept away from the
assembly area, as there are small components used in this bed which could
present a choking hazard. All plastic and wrapping materials should also be
kept away from children and animals to prevent any risk of suffocation.
To keep your little ones busy, there is a colouring page inside the back cover.
Recycling
Please ensure that packaging is disposed of in a safe and environmentally
friendly way, and recycle where possible. Our assembly instructions are
printed on recycled paper. Please keep your assembly instructions safe
to refer back to in the future.

Top tip
We recommend that you build your new bed in the room you'd like it to be
located - this will help prevent any risk of damage to your newly built bed
whilst moving it.

i) Fit 2 sets of bolts (3),flat washers (5) to the holes in the headboard (A) as shown.
Note: Do not tighten fully but leave 10mm protruding as in the diagram.
Fit the side panels (C ) to the headboard locating the brackets behind the flat washers.
Fit the other 1 sets of bolts through the brackets into the central pair of holes
.Loosely screw in the bolts but do not tighten them 100% yet.

Fit the two angle brackets (G) loosely screwing the bolts(3),
spring washers (4) & flat washers (5) into the threadedinserts
in the corners of headboard (A) & the side rails (C).

all bed assembly bolts 100%.

i) Fit the metal cross rail (H) loosely screwing the bolts(3), spring washers (4)
& flat washers (5) into the threadedinsertsin the side rails (D).
ii) Fit the 5pcs metal support (I) looselyscrewing
the bolts(3), spring washers (4) & flat washers
(5) into the threaded inserts in the side rails(C)
and footboard(B).

i) Fitting position for cross Bar (F) is clearly
labeled. Pass bar through Metal Slat
Frame (E) between first & second slats
then carefully open the frame.

ii) Ease the plates on top of the cross bar (F) onto top of
the slat frame sides and loosely fit two sets of bolts(6),
spring washers (4) & flat washers (5). Screw them through
the plates into the threaded inserts.Do not tighten yet.
iii) Using four sets of bolts (6) , spring washer (4)
& flat washers (5) fit two pieces of the metal
plate (11) into threaded inserts on top of the frame.
Using Allen key (4), tighten all six bolts 100%.

Un-tie each mechanism&take out
the transit protection block
Tilt the arms upwards
Slat Frame Support Bar
i)
ii)
Bolt into centre of long holes
iii) With help from your assistant, lift slat
frame (E) onto slat frame support bars
aligning first set of holes on slat frame
with first set of holes in support bars
(nearest to headboard).
iv) Using three bolt sets on each side (2),
(5), (4) & (10), fix slat frame to the
support bars but do not tighten fully.

Carefully lay frame down making sure there
is an even gap all round as in the sketch.

Hold frame securely then tighten all six
bolt sets 100% using spanner(7) & Allen key (1).
Note: Be very careful what you store
under the bed -the top of an item, like
a suitcase or a box must nottouch the
slats or they may be damaged. Maximum
storage height is 240mm.

During this next step, the assistant should hold up
the slat frame.
On side panels (C) slide gas-lift piston stems (X)
onto the axles (Y) then fit the flange lock-nuts (10).
Tighten nuts with spanner (7) . BUT DO NOT
over-tighten. A small gap is left so stems can
move freely - this is important - see sketch below.
