ever night's sleep. Before you begin building your bed, please take a moment to read through the
instructions and make sure that you've got all the relevant parts listed on the following pages.
Assembly tips
Before you begin, it’s best to identify all parts and fittings to build your bed.
We advise laying these out on the floor to check you have everything, and
familiarising yourself before building.

Please ensure that packaging is disposed of in a safe and environmentally
friendly way, and recycle where possible. Our assembly instructions are
printed on recycled paper. Please keep your assembly instructions safe
to refer back to in the future.
We recommend that you build your new bed in the room you’d like it to be
located - this will help prevent any risk of damage to your newly built bed
whilst moving it.

Parts
The TV Bed you have purchased comes with a Lifestyle Sleepmotion 200i electric bed base.
Follow the instructions to assemble the bed around the base after first preparing the base as in Step 2.
The footend of the bed is fitted with a real 6 channel Surround Sound amplifier that is connected to the
television with the HDMI ARC cable - DO NOT REMOVE THIS CABLE - just connect the plug to the HDMI ARC
socket on the side of the television - carefully read Step 8 before installing the television.

Before starting assembly please refer to the owners manual supplied with
your Sleepmotion 200i bed base and follow the instructions taking note of
any safety precautions or operational safety requirements of the installation.
In the room where bed is to be used, first prepare the electric bed base by fitting the eight
longer 6‘’ (15cm) legs, as in Step 2. Connect the power and check the operation then step by step
follow the bed assembly instructions below,to build the bedstead around the electric bed base.
Please read Step 8 carefully, before fitting the television.

Fitting the brackets for the side rails.
On the headboard & footboard screw in the bolt
sets (a, b & c) leaving a 10mm gap as shown then
hook on the brackets (D, E & F).
Tighten all x12 bolts 90% using Allen key (d).

Positioning the electric bed base.
Place the headboard in the position in which it shall be used and attach the right hand side
rail to the headboard bracket (D), using two bolt sets (a, b & c) tighten 90% with Allen key (d).
Make sure the bed base is facing the correct way with mattress stopper at the footend then
carefully lift the base and place it into the corner between headboard and side rail as shown -
it is heavy so please get help.
Prepare the electric bed base before assembling the bed frame.
Screw in the eight longer 6" (15cm) legs as shown.

i) Bring the power lead out from the electric base, underneath the headboard.
ii) Connect the plug to the wall socket - for safety this must be an earthed power supply.
iii) Raise both the head end and foot end of the bed base using the remote control.

using another two bolt sets (a, b & c).
Tighten the bolts using Allen key (d) but only tighten 90%.
Place footboard in position and connect the RH side rail to it.

across as shown.

the plug is in the correct

Note: This is for illustration purposes only, TV connections may vary.
If more leads, such as standard HDMI, aerial or other media connection leads need to be fitted - push them
through either duct from the top choosing the best side to use depending on where the connection ports are on
back of the TV - please make sure the wires are not hanging loose.
If it is necessary to cross over leads from one side of the bed to the other, do this in front of the TV lift as shown in
the sketch below right.
The HDMI ARC cable is positioned at the right rear side of the television ready to plug into the HDMI ARC socket
on the side of the TV. If necessary it can be moved across to the opposite side, gently draw out some the cable
from the duct and cross it over passing the lead under the back of the TV supports.
Use cable clips(U) to keep the cable from snagging.
i) Plug the small power
plug on one end of the
mains power lead (G)
into the socket at the
bottom of the footboard.
On the other end of the
lead, bring the 3 pin plug
out under the headboard
and connect it to your
wall socket - for safety
this must be an earthed
power supply.

This HDMI cable needs to be plugged
directly into the HDMI ARC socket on
the side of the television.
Please refer to Assembly Instructions.
Bring the aerial lead (H) out
under the headboard and
plug it into the wall socket.
7 Before connecting the television, please read the important information below.
RC controls the 5.1 Surround
Sound amplifier, please read the
Operation Guide on page 14.
The RC is also used to move the
TV up or down.
The bed is fitted with a real 5+1 six channel surround sound amplifier that should be connected to the
television fitting the HDMI plug into the HDMI ARC socket on the side of the TV.
HDMI ARC connection on the TV is the OUTPUT of audio from television to the amplifier which is then
processed and sent by the amplifier to the various speakers. The other HDMI sockets on the TV only
accept INPUT signals from the various devices you might connect such as SKY, USB, DVD & Gaming
consoles etc..
Note that the TV must be transmitting the 5.1 signals from an appropriate audio device to the TV and
then each channel is routed to the correct one of the six speakers by the amplifier, this is how surround
sound is created.
The amplifier will correctly decode the input signals such as 2.1 Stereo or real 5.1 surround sound as they
were recorded and will automatically decode the signals appropriately, depending on the input.
To get the best audio experience when streaming multi-channel or playing a 5.1 DVD, it will help if the
TV audio output is set to the right option - please read the television User Guide.

i) Measure the height of the television and add 5mm
to the height then adjust the column to suit..
ii) Loosen the two column adjustment bolts, slide column so the
curved lid lifter is just above the TV and re-tighten the two bolts.
iii) The upper part of each support (k) slides to hold front of
television in place, please follow the instructions on how to
correctly set these supports in Step 9.
Height of TV is normally pre-set - follow this guide if it needs to be changed.

IF HARDWARE IS SUPPLIED WITH THE TV, PLEASE USE IT IN PREFERENCE
Fitting the TV.
Check the hardware supplied with
television and if Vesa screws and spacers
are supplied please use these to fit the TV.

To adjust the two TV supports (k), stand the
television in position and loosely secure it to
the TV mounting bracket (x) using the
hardware supplied. Each slider should be set
to just touch the front bezel. To make sliding
each support easier, lift the TV slightly,
above the support being adjusted.
Once supports are set,
lightly push down In the
centre of the TV and
tighten the two Vesa
bolts 100%, these should
be in the centre of the
long holes as shown.
ii) When spacers are provided it is very
important that these are fitted in the
correct place, fit between television
& the TV mounting bracket (x) as in
this sketch. The spacers are needed
to keep the TV screen vertical.
