5 Attach the connectors from the PCIII USB EX
to the stock wiring harness and throttle body
harness as shown in Figure D.
6 Attach the ground wire from the PCIII USB EX
to the frame using the stock upper bolt that
holds the coolant reserve bottle to the frame as
shown in Figure E.
Make sure the ground wire from the
PCIII USB EX is between the coolant bottle and
the frame.
7 Reinstall the coolant bottle.
8 Install the PCIII USB EX to the left hand ram air
tube. Use the supplied zip ties to secure the
PCIII USB EX harness to the stock wiring
harness. This will secure the unit in place
without the need to use the velcro.
9 Reinstall the bodywork.
Note: This bike uses a servo to hold the
throttle plate open during cold starts. Make
sure the bike is up to operating temperature
BEFORE resetting the throttle position on the
PCIII USB EX software.
10 Insert the cd provided into your computer’s
cd-rom drive.
11 Follow the on-screen instructions to install the
PCIII USB EX software.
