LEVERED (RACKED) OUT TO THE DISCONNECT

TO THE OFF POSITION AND MECHANISM SPRINGS
DISCHARGED.

PROCEDURES DESCRIBED IN THIS INSTRUCTION
LEAFLET COULD RESULT IN DEATH, BODILY INJURY,

INTERVALS AS WELL AS THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR
REPAIR AND EXCHANGE MUST BE STRICTLY ADHERED
TO PREVENT INJURY TO PERSONNEL AND DAMAGE TO
THE SWITCHBOARD.
Section 1: General information
An auxiliary switch is an optional device providing
remote electrical indication if the circuit breaker is
open or closed. Up to three auxiliary switches can
be mounted in the circuit breaker. Each switch has
two normally open (“A”) and two normally closed
(“B”) contacts for a total of 12 available contacts.
Section 2: Installation of the
auxiliary switch
To install the auxiliary switch, proceed with the
following five steps:
Step 1: Remove the front cover by unscrewing
the hex head captive bolts (four for three-pole,
six for four-pole) that join the cover to the breaker
housing using a 10 mm 1/4-inch drive socket.
Then hold the charge handle down approximately
45 degrees to pull off the cover.
Step 2: Place the appropriate label on the
front cover nameplate space located under
“Accessories.”

Step 3: Slide the lock on the switch to the unlocked (up) position.
Install the hook feet down through openings as shown. Then slide
the auxiliary switch forward so the feet engage the mounting plate.
Slide the lock down into the locked position.

Abschnitt 1: Allgemeine
Informationen
Ein Hilfsschalter ist ein optionales Gerät, welches
anzeigt, ob der Leistungsschalter offen oder
geschlossen ist. Bis zu drei Hilfsschalter können
eingebaut werden. Jeder Hilfsschalter hat zwei
Schließ- und zwei Öffnerkontakte.
Abschnitt 2: Allgemeine
Informationen
Führen Sie die folgenden Schritte aus:
Schritt 1: Schrauben Sie die Halteschrauben von
der Frontabdeckung ab. Drücken Sie nun den
Antriebshandhebel herunter (ca. 45°) um
die Frontabdeckung abzunehmen.
Schritt 2: Kleben Sie den beiliegenden
Typenaufkleber auf die entsprechende Stelle
des Typenschildes.

Schritt 3: Schieben Sie den Sperrschieber nach oben. Setzen Sie
die Füße des Hilfsschalters in die Öffnungen. Schieben Sie den
Hilfsschalter in die Arretierung und verrasten Sie den Sperrschieber.

kann nicht höher als vier sein.

Steuerleitungsanschlüssen wie in Tabelle 1 und auf den
entsprechenden Kabelmarkierungen angegeben.

Schritt 5: Schrauben Sie die Frontabdeckung wieder an.
