(ZV SW LT )
sorgfältig zu lesen.
BESCHREIBUNG UND INBETRIEBNAHME
Das ZV SW (ZV SW LTfür Niedrigtemperatur)ist ein Vollschlauch-Zapfventil ohne automa-
tische Abschaltung zur PKW- und LKW-Befüllung mit Scheibenwischwasser an Zapfsäulen
oder mobilen Betankungseinheiten. Die maximale Durchflussleistung beträgt sowohl bei der
Standard- als auch der Drip-Stop Variante 20 l/min.
Jedes Zapfventil wird vor Verlassen des Werkes unter erschwerten Bedingungen einer Stück-
prüfung unterzogen und mit der vorgeschriebenen Kennzeichnung sowie Herstelldatum und
Herstellungsnummer versehen.
Das ZV SW (ZV SW LT
)wird betriebsfertig geliefert. Bei der Montage eines Drehgelenks oder
Abreißkupplung ist das max. Anzugsdrehmoment von 20-25 Nm zu beachten. Nach Montage am
Schlauch und Einschalten der Pumpe durch mehrfaches Betätigen des Schalthebels, Schlauch
und Zapfventil entlüften. Hierzu das Zapfventil, mit Auslaufrohr nach unten zeigend, mehrfach
abschalten lassen. Anschließend einen vollständigen Funktionstest durchführen und prüfen:
ob Zapfventil, Schlauchanschluß und Drehgelenk unter Druck einwandfrei dicht sind
ob die elektrische Ausschaltung der Pumpe beim Einhängen in die Zapfsäule oder mobile
Betankungseinheit funktioniert
ZULASSUNGEN / BETRIEBSBEDINGUNGEN
Das ZV SW (ZV SW LT) ist geeignet für die Verwendung mit Scheibenwischwasser. Betriebsdruck
0,5 − 3,5 bar, Betriebstemperatur -20° C bis +55° C (LT-Version: -40° C bis +55° C
)
.
WARNUNGEN
Vor Installation und Einsatz des Zapfventils lesen Sie bitte aufmerksam die Bedienunganleitung.
Fehlbetankung verhindern: Scheibenwischwasser ist kein Kraftstoffzusatz. Tanken Sie
das Medium nicht in den Kraftstofftank, sondern in den hierfür vorgesehenen separaten
Scheibenwischwassertank, um Motorschäden zu vermeiden .
HINWEISE ZUR RICHTIGEN BEDIENUNG
STECKEN SIE DAS ZAPFROHR TIEF IN DEN VORGESEHENEN WISCHWASSER- TANK. Die
Befüllung von Scheibenwischwasser erfolgt manuell.
FÜLLEN SIE NICHT ZU SCHNELL. Einige Füllstutzen lassen sich schlecht befüllen, reduzieren
Sie die Füllgeschwindigkeit, um ein Herausspritzen von Scheibenwischwasser zu verhindern.
LASSEN SIE DAS ZAPFVENTIL GUT AUSTROPFEN. Neigen Sie das Zapfventil immer einige
Sekunden zum Tank, bevor Sie es in die Zapfsäule zurückhängen. Dann wird der nächste Benutzer
nicht durch herauslaufendes Scheibenwischwasser überrascht.
BEI STÖRUNGEN
WENN DAS ZAPFVENTIL NICHT ÖFFNET, zunächst prüfen, ob das Sieb zwischen Zapfventil
und Schlauchleitung verstopft ist. Bei Bedarf ausbauen und mit Druckluft reinigen, danach wie-
der installieren.
Pumpendruck überprüfen. Falls der Pumpendruck nicht erhöht werden kann, Zapfventil
abschrauben und bei gezogenem Schalthebel den Ventilkegel durch Druck auf den Schaft vom
Ventilsitz lösen. Zusätzlich darauf achten, dass Frostschutzmittel (z.B. Glykol)verwendet wird,
um ein Gefrieren zu vermeiden.
Wenn das Zapfventil nach wie vor nicht funktioniert, kontaktieren Sie bitte Elaflex oder die
nächste ZVA Servicefirma.

INSTANDHALTUNG
Das ZV SW (ZV SW LT
)
sollte täglich einer Sichtkontrolle von geschultem Personal unterzo-
gen werden, um die Funktionsfähigkeit sicher zu stellen. Das Zapfventil sollte sauber sein und
keine Anzeichen von Schäden aufweisen (z.B. gebrochene Bauteile, scharfe Kanten, blockierter
Schalthebel, schwergängiges Drehgelenk
). Überprüfen Sie insbesondere das Auslaufrohr auf
Schäden. Das Zapfventil sollte sorgfältig und durch geschultes Personal im Rahmen der jähr-
lichen Pumpeninstandhaltung überprüft werden. Hierbei ist vor allem die Dichtheit zu kontrollie-
ren. Zapfventile in untauglichem Zustand müssen umgehend ausgetauscht werden.
Bei Reparaturen das Zapfventil wie gezeigt im Schraubstock einspannen. Dafür nicht den Schutz-
bügel verwenden. Max. Anzugsdrehmoment für Drehgelenk / Abreißkupplung beträgt 20-25 Nm.
GARANTIE
Für Material- und Fabrikationsfehler leisten wir Garantie bis zu 18 Monaten nach Lieferdatum.
Wenn das Lieferdatum nicht zweifelsfrei festzustellen ist, gilt das am Gehäuse eingeprägte
Monats- bzw. Jahresdatum (z.B. 1/23 = 1. Monat 2023
). Ausgenommen von der Garantie
sind Zapfventile, die durch äußere Verschleißbeanspruchung oder durch Benutzung für unge-
eignete Flüssigkeiten und Zusätze unbrauchbar geworden sind. Nicht ersatzpflichtig sind
Montage- und Wegekosten im Zusammenhang mit Austausch und Reparatur sowie Körper- und
Sachfolgeschäden aus dem Gebrauch der Zapfventile.

DESCRIPTION AND PUTTING INTO SERVICE
ZV SW (ZV SW LTfor Low Temperature
)
is a nozzle without an automatic safety shut off for
refuelling passenger cars or heavy vehicles with screen water fluid. The maximum flow capa-
city is at both Standard version and Drip-Stop version up to 20 l / min.
Each nozzle has been subjected to stringent tests before leaving the factory and validated by
the applied markings and date code.
The ZV SW (ZV SW LT
)
is supplied ready for connection to the hose. When installing the
swivel or the safety break apply the max. tightening torque of 20-25 Nm. After assembling and
switching on the pump, point the spout downwards towards the ground and operate the lever
several times to vent air from hose and nozzle. Carry out a complete functional testing of the
nozzle. Please check:
is the nozzle, hose connection and swivel tight under pressure
Does the pump switch off when putting the nozzle back into the nozzle boot
APPROVALS / OPERATING CONDITIONS

is suitable for the use with screen water fluid. Working pressure 0,5 up to
3,5 bar, Ambient temperature -20° C up to +55° C

WARNINGS
Please read this manual carefully before installation or operation of the nozzle.
To avoid misfilling: Windscreen washer fluid is not a fuel additive. Do not dispense this
medium into the fuel tank, but only into a dedicated separate screen water tank to avoid
engine damage .
HINTS FOR PROPER HANDLING
INSERT THE SPOUT FULLY INTO THE DESIGNATED SCREEN WATER TANK. Screen water
is filled manually.
DO NOT FILL TOO FAST. Some filler necks are difficult to refill. Reduce the flow rate to avoid
blow backs of screen water.
ALWAYS TILT THE NOZZLE FORWARD INTO THE TANK before returning it back into the nozzle
boot. A few drops of screen water will remain in the nozzle sensing port. Then the next user will not
be surprised by drips .
IN CASE OF TROUBLE
IF THE NOZZLE FAILS TO OPEN: Please check if the strainer between the nozzle and hose
assembly is clogged. If necessary, remove and clean it using compressed air, then reinstall it. Also
the pump pressure may be too low to push the valve poppet open. If the pump pressurecannot
be increased, disconnect the nozzle, remove the swivel, pull the lever to the open position and
push the valve stem to open the poppet. In addition, ensure that antifreeze (e.g. Glykol)is used to
prevent freezing.
If ZV SW (ZV SW LT)still does not work properly, please contact your service contractor or Elaflex.
MAINTENANCE
Daily visual inspection of the ZV SW (ZV SW LT
)nozzle by trained personnel should be carried
out to ensure proper function. The nozzle shall be clean and not show any signs of damage
(e.g. broken components, sharp edges, blocked lever, swivel non-rotating ). Especially check
the nozzle spout for damages. The nozzle condition shall be thoroughly checked during the
annual pump maintenance by competent personnel. Applicable laws, regulations and Codes
of Practice have to be followed. Especially check the tightness of the nozzle. Nozzles in unfit
condition for use must be replaced immediately.
For repair work clamp the nozzle in the vice as shown below. Do not use the guard. For installion
of swivel or safety break with max. tightening torque of 20-25 Nm.
GUARANTEE
We guarantee against defective materials and manufacturing up to 18 months from date of sup-
ply. If the delivery date cannot be established, the date code on the nozzle body (i.e. 1/23 = 1st
month 2023
)prevails. Excluded are nozzles and parts subjected to wear and tear, abuse and
to contamination. Furthermore excluded are damages by misuse, indirect damages and costs,
travelling related to exchange and repair work. We refuse any liability for consequential loss or
damage resulting from the use of our nozzle.
