INSTRUCTIONS FOR BUILT-IN
OVENS

Installation Instruction
Warning and safety instructions
Before using the oven for the first
time,read these operating
instructions carefully for full
information on the safe installation,
use and care of your new appliance.
This unit must be correctly installed
inaccordance with the manu-
facturer's instructions by a suitably
qualified person.
The manufacturers decline
responsibility for damage to persons
or items due to poor or incorrect
installation of this appliance.
Make sure that the voltage and fre-
quency of the mains supply
correspond to the details on the rating
plate which can be found on the lower
part of the front of the oven.
Warning: this appliance must be
earthed.
Our cornpany declines any liability for
failures in the earth connection or for
earth connection that is not in
compliance with the regulations in
force.
Maintenance and servicing work must
only be carried out after the power
supply has been disconnected by
switching off at the wall socket or
removing the mains fuse.
Due to our polìcy of continuous
innovation, we reserve the right to
adjust or modify our product without
prior notification.
Do not let children near the oven
during use as external surfaces
including glass will become hot so, to
avoid the danger of burns or injuiry.
Supervise the use of the
oven by the eldeirly or infirm.
Where an oven is built-under with a
drawer beneath, this must be made non
functioning with a ‘dummy’ front.
On no account should flammable mate-
rials be stored in a drawer beneath a
built-under oven as there is a risk of
fire.
Do not place heavy objects on the open
door or sit on it as this could cause
damage to the hinging.
When cooking with oil or fat, do not
leave the oven unattended as there is a
risk of fire.
To avoid damage to the interior enamel,
do not place the oven pan or baking
trays on the bottom of the oven and do
not line the base of the oven with
aluminium cooking foil.
During cooking, food naturale produces
steam which is vented away to prevent
an eccessive build-up within the oven.
As this steam can condense to water
droplets on the cool outer trim of the
oven, it may be necessary during
cooking to wipe away any moisture with
a soft cloth.This will also help to prevent
soiling and discolouration of the oven
exterior by cooking vapours.
Before using for the first time
Switch off the oven at the wall socket or
remove the mains fuse before cleaning.
Remove any packaging and the oven
accessories from the oven. Wipe the
oven interior using hot water and a mild
detergent.
Rinse carefully using a damp cloth.
Wash the oven shelves and accessories
in a dishwasher or using hot water and
a mild detergent, and dry thoroughly.

Built-in installation
IMPORTANT: The unit must be
correctly installed in accordance with
Manufacturers instructions and by
qualified person. Maintenance and
servive must be carried out after the
power supply has been disconnected.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION: Make
sure that voltage supply is the same
as what is on the rating plate which
can be found on the lower part of the
front of the oven.
The oven must be connected by
means of a 13 AMP power point close
to the rear of housing cabinet.
The oven must be protected by a 13
AMP fuse.
If further mains cable is needed, it
must be with minimun selectional are
of 1,5 mm.
Sufficient cable must be left for easy
maintenance of the appliance.
Warning: this appliance must be
earthed.
Proper earthing is mandatory for the
appliance.
Our company declines any liability for
failures in the earth connection that
is not in compliance with the
regulation in force.

Note: It is reccomended that tin foil or
aluminium not to be placed inside the
oven.

This appliance is designed for building-
in to a standard 600mm wide oven
housing.
The housing, adjacent furniture and all
materials used in installation must be
able to withstand a minimum
temperature of 80°C plus ambient
temperature during periods of
operation. In addition, adjacent
furniture cabinet doors must be at
least 8mm from the appliance at all
points. Certain types of vinyl or
laminate kitchen furniture cabinetry
are particularly prone to heat damage
and discoloration,any delamination or
discoloration of materials which
occurs below 80°C plus ambient
temperature or where materials are
less than 8mm from the appliance will
be the liability of the owner.
The housing into which the appliance
is installed must incorporate a full
depth shelf positioned 85÷ 90mm
below the support shelf for the
appliance.
For building-under a worktop, the
installation dimensions are as follows:

Your new oven incorporates a multifunction cooking system, enabling you to select the
most appropriate heating method for the type of food you are preparing.
The function required is seleeted by turning the oven function selector knop in a
clockwise direction to the appropriate symbol. The oven interior light will illuminate
and the ‘On’ indicator light will glow. The oven functions and their symbols are:
Oven operation
Light only
The oven interior light comes on.
Conventional heating
The elements in the roof and floor operate to give a conventional static
oven heating system. The oven should be preheated before use until
the temperature indicator light goes out.
It is recommended that food is only placed on one shelf position when
cooking with the conventional heating function. Do not use the lowest
or highest shelf positions or the food may overcook.
Economy grill
The element under, the floor of the oven operates on its own. The oven,
should be preheated for 15-20 minutes before use.
This function is ideal for ‘blind baking’ pastry cases for quiches and
tarts. In this case, the food should be cooked with the oven shelf on the
lowest shelf position.
Full grill
Same procedure as in position 5, but the grill element will give you a
larger area for grilling.
Semi forced air convection with lower heating element
Then fan will come on with the lower heating element.
The thermostat has to be set to the desired temperature. It is not
recommended that you have to pre-heat the oven.
Recommended use: for warming or very slow cooking of food.
Lower/upper resistance + ventilation
Semi forced air convection (with the door closed).The thermostat has
to be set to desired temperature between 50°C to 250° C.
Recommended use : for food which needs to be cooked on the outside
as an the inside (confectionery, roasted meat ).

Defrosting
The fan operates but without its element, so the oven is not directly
heated. The oven door must remain closed.
Frozen food can be quickly defrosted by placing in the oven pan
and sliding onto the lowest shelf position. Defrosting time will
be reduced by up to one third using this system.
Lower heating element only
The element under, the floor of the oven operates on its own. The oven,
should be preheated for 15-20 minutes before use.
This function is ideal for ‘blind baking’ pastry cases for quiches and
tarts. In this case, the food should be cooked with the oven shelf on the
lowest shelf position.
Up heating element only
By turning the thermostat knob a desired temperature of 50° C to 230°C.
Suitable for very slow cooking and warming up of food.
Forced air convection
The fan and an element behind the rear wall of the oven circulate hot air
to give an even temperature throughout the oven.
The oven should be pre-heated before use until the temperature indicator
light goes out. Food can be cooked on several shelf positions at once,
saving both time and energy.
The oven temperature should be reduced by approximately 10%
compared to conventional oven heating systems.
Infra-red cooking.
Oven door closed. Thermostat knob on position 230° C (250° C).
As the grill is thermostat-controlled, grilling may be carried out with the
door closed.
Semi forced air convection
The fan operates with the infra-red grill element in the roof of the oven.
The oven should be pre-heated for 5-10 minutes before use.
When roasting meats, this function will crisp the outside of the food
whilst the circulating hot air ensures even cooking.
Semi forced air convection can also be used for grilling, so that food
does not need to be turned so often. Grilling must always take place
with the oven door closed.

How to use the turningspit
In same ovens it is possible to use the
turningspit and the grill together.
Meat has to be inserted onto the skewers
and blocked by the two clamps.
Proceed now as follows:
A.Place oven tray on the lowest position of
the oven.
B.Place one of the forks support along the
stainless steel rod and secure.Insert the
meat onto the skewer and then put the
other fork support on, securing it firmly
into the meat .
C.The spit handle made of isolating
material must be used for extracting the
stainless steel rod from the oven and must
be taken off when cooking.
(See Fig. 2 )
For example the chicken weighing about
1,3 KG will take approximately 85/90
minutes to cook.
Digital clock with auto timer (start &
finish)
This type of timer will allow you to pre
set the oven to come on no more than 12
hrs.in advance.
The oven once set will come on and go off
automatically.
Knob A :
Setting the time of the day
- press the knob and turn it clockwise
at the same time to set the digital clock
Knob B :
Setting the cooking time
- when turning this knob clockwise it
will adjust the following operation in
window "D".
•it sets the cooking time this being a
maximum of 3 hours and 45 minutes
•it allows to operate the oven manually
•it also stops the minute counter from
ringing
Knob C:
Setting the beginning of the cooking time
- press the knob and turn it clockwise
oranticlockwise at the same time to set
in window "E" the time in which you
want the food to start cooking.
Operating the oven manually
To turn the oven on to a manual operation
without having to use the oven with the
timer as follows:
-turn knob "B" clockwise until mark
coincides with the pointer .
-then set dial "E" at the same time as
clock "F" by using knob .'C"
-you will then be able to use the oven
without the interference of the auto-
matic timer .
Attention: the oven can not be operated
manually if the time displayed on dial
“ E „ does not match the clock "F".

Programming your oven with
mechanical 60 minutes timer
The timer is equipped with a time buzzer
and may be regulated for a maximum
period of 60 minutes.
The regulation knob ( Fig.3) must be
turned in a clockwise direction until it
reaches the 60 minutes position and then
turned to the desired time by turning the
knob in a counterclockwise direction.
The oven will not be turned off automa-
tically.
A minute counter ringing will advise that
the cooking time time is over.

End of Cooking
The function of the programming timer is to
make the oven turn on for a pre-determined
amount of time.
1.To operate.
After having set the oven switch knob to
the desired temperature, turn the timer
knob in a clockwise direction to the desired
cooking time (maximum 120minutes).
After the set time runs out, the timer will
have returned to position “O” and the oven
will automatically turn off.
2.Manual position.
If the coking time is longher than the hours
programme, or if you wish to use the oven
manually, to turn it off when you desire,
turn the knob to position
(Fig.4)
Setting time of watch
The time can be set by pressing and tur-
ning left the knob. (Fig. 5)
Programming cooking time
Turn the knob anticlockwise (without pres-
sing it ) till the index of the disk coincides
with desidered cooking time.
Once cooking time has elapsed, automati-
cally the oven stops working and an alarm
switches on, this alarm can be switched off
by turning left the knob (do not press it) till
the disk coincides with the symbol.
Manual cooking
Turn the knob anticlockwise (without pres-
sing it ) till the index coincides with the
symbol.

Instructions and operation
Setting the clock: press the knob (A) and
turn anti-clockwise. Adjustment of
starting time: pull the knob (A) out and
at the same time turn anti-clockwise
index (B).
Adjustment of connection time: turn the
knob (A) anti-clockwise without pressing
it in index (C).
The end of the connection is announced
by an alarm belI, which is cancelled by
turning the knob (A) to position (D)
without pressing it in.
Manual connection: turn the knob (A) to
position (E) with out pressing it in.

Electronic programmer
The electronic programmer is a device
which groups together the following
functions:(Fig.7)
- 24 hours clock with illuminated display
- Timer ( up to 23 hours and 59 min.)
- Program for automatic beginning and
end of cooking
- Program for semi-automatic cooking
(either only start or only finish).

Description of lighted symbols
“ AUTO ” - ( flashing) - Programmer in automatic
position but not programmed.
“ AUTO ” - ( always lighted)- Programmer in
automatic position with inserted program.

And “ AUTO ” ( both flashing ) - Programm
error.
No lighted symbol except clock numbers :
programmer on manual set.
Setting the time of day
When the oven is first connected to the
mains electricity supply or following a
power failure, three zeros will flash in the
time display. To set the time of day press
and hold the and buttons and at
the same time press the + or -buttons to
set the correct time using the 24 hour
clock system. The speed at which the
digits change increases the longer the + or
- button is held. Release the buttons once
the time has been set to start the clock
running.
Manual oven operation
In order that the oven can be used
manually, the timer must be set to
'manual'. If the automatic cooking
indicator is flashing, press the
button until the time display reads
zero then press the button again.
The indicator will disap-
pear. The main oven can now be used
manually.
Setting the minute minder
The minute minder can be used to
time any period from 1 minute to 23
hours 59 minutes.

Setting the time of day
To set the minute minder press
and hold the button and at the same
time press the + or - buttons to set the
required time. Release the buttons once
the time has been set to start the minute
minder running. The time display will
show the time of day and the (M)indicator
will appear .
To check the remaining time on the
minute minder at any point, press the
button. The time display will show
the remaining time on the minute
minder until the button is released.
Once the time has elapsed the (M)indicator
disappears and a buzzer sounds. This can
be switched off by pressing the
button.
Setting the timer to turn the
main oven off automatically
Either: Press and hold the button
and at the same time press the + or -
buttons to set the required cooking time.
Or: Press and hold the button and
at the same time press the + or -
buttons to set the required time at which
cooking should end.
Release the buttons once the time has
been set. The time display will show the
time of day and the and (AUTO)
indicators will flash.
Set the main oven function and
temperature selectors to the required
positions. The main oven will turn on
immediately and operate for the period
selected on the timer, then switch of
automatically.
Once the cooking time has elapsed the
(AUTO) indicator disappears and a
buzzer sounds. This can be switched off
by pressing the button. Turn the
main oven function and temperature
selector knobs to zero. Press the
button to reset the main oven to manual
operation. The flashing indicator
will disappear. The main oven can now
be used manually.
Setting the timer to turn the
oven on and off automatically
Press and hold the button and at
the same time press the + or -buttons to
set the required cooking time. Release
the buttons once the time has been set.
The time display will show the time of
day and the and (AUTO) indicators
will flash.
Now press and hold the button and
at the same time press the + or -buttons
to set the time at which cooking should
end. Release the buttons once the time
has been set. The time display will show
the time of day, the (AUTO) indicator will
disappear and the indicator will
flash.
Set the main oven function and
temperature selector knobs to the
required positions. The main oven will
switch on at the appropriate time,
operate for the period selected on the
timer, then switch off automatically .
Once the main oven switches on, the
(AUTO) indicator will flash to show that
automatic cooking is in progress.
When the main oven switches off, the
(AUTO) indicator disappears and a
buzzer sounds. This can be switched off
by pressing the button. Turn the
main oven function and temperature
selector knobs to zero. Press the
button to reset the main oven to manual
operation. The flashing indicator will
disappear.
The main oven can now be used
manually.

Cancelling an automatic cooking
programme
An automatic cooking programme can
be cancelled at any moment by pressing
and holding the or button
until the time display reads zero. Press
the button to reset the main oven to
manual operation. The flashing
indicator will disappear. The main oven
can now be used manually.
Replacing the oven light
ATTENTION : disconnct the appliance from
the power supply.
If the oven light needs to be replaced, the
protective cover “ A ” must be removed by
turning it anticlockwise.After the light has
been replaced, refit the protective cover “A”.

Removing the oven door (Fig.9)
To aid cleaning and make access to the
oven interior easier, both oven doors can be
simply removed (see diagram).
To facility cleaning of the oven, the door can
Be removed via the hinges as follows:
hinges with movable bolts
The hinges A are provided with two movable
bolts B.
When bolt B is raised, the hinge is released
from its housing. Having done this, the door
must be lifted upwards and removed,sliding
it towards the outside;
grip the sides of the door near the hinges
when performing these operations.
To refit the door, firstly slide the hinges into
their slots.
Before closing the door, remember to
rotate the two movable bolts B used to
hook the two hinges.

Do not immerse the door in water
Clean the enamelled interior surface and
the glass using a damp cloth and a proprie-
tary mild cream cleaner, rinse, then dry
carefully using a soft cloth.
If necessary,the inner door glass can be
removed by unscrewing the two lateral fixing
screws. Make sure that the glass is dried
thoroughly before re-fitting.Take care not to
over tighten the fixing screws when re-fitting.
Removing the shelf support (Fig.10)
Some models have detachable shelf support,
which can be removed, from the oven for
cleaning by hand or in a dishwasher.
Grasp the shelf support and press
downwards to release from the clip device on
the lowest runner (see diagram).
How to mount the self-cleaning liners
All models of oven can be equipped with a set
of self-cleaning liners, supplies apart and
removable.(Fig.11)
To mount them just operate as follows:
1.Fix throught screws the back liner A
2.The side liners are kept by the same
support of the racks
The shelf support can then be hinged
upwards and lifted from the mounting
holes in the upper corners of the oven
prior to removal..
To re-fit the shelf supports, reverse the
procedure ensuring that the clip device
engages firmly on the lowest runner.
Oven accessories
The oven shelves, oven pans and trivets
should be washed in hot water with a
mild detergent then dried carefully, or
they can be washed in a dishwasher.
