OFF
The detector is initialised for 30 seconds when the control unit enters activation mode or when the detector is set to Test.
Do not trigger an alarm on the detector during the initialisation period of 30 seconds. If the battery of the detector is flat or
if the tamper switch is open, the red LED lights up during the initialisation period.
Sleep Time
When the Dip Switch 1 is set to OFF, the detector will respect a “sleep time” of approximately 1 minute to save energy.
The detector will not repeat the transmission for 1 minute if motion is detected after the transmission. Any motion detected
during this time will reset the sleep time (taking back to 1 minute). Consequently, continuous motion in front of the
detector will not discharge the battery.
Battery and flat battery detection
The detector is powered by two AA 1.5 V lithium batteries.
When the detector battery is flat. When the battery voltage is flat, the detector transmits the flat battery signal to the
control unit. If a flat battery condition is detected, the red LED lights up for 2 seconds.
While replacing the batteries, after having removed the flat batteries, press the tamper button or the function button twice
to discharge the device completely before inserting the new batteries.

During replacement, pay particular attention not to damage the contacts in the battery holder compartment.
Tamper protection
The detector is protected by a metal tamper switch which is compressed backwards by the metal bracket when the
detector is installed on the bracket. When the cover of the detector is removed from the bracket, the tamper switch is
opened and the detector sends a tamper open signal to the control unit to inform the user. If a motion is detected while the
tamper switch is open, the red LED lights up for two seconds.
The detector does not detect the tamper switch state for five minutes after the battery is inserted.
If the tamper switch is operated in the five minutes during which there is no detection, the detector will immediately
transmit a tamper signal to the control unit.
When the tamper switch is compressed, the resetting of the default settings of the detector (see below) is
deactivated.
Supervision
The detector regularly transmits a supervision signal to indicate the condition according to the user's setting. The default
setting is 30 minutes. The user may also press the function button once to manually transmit the supervision signal.
Test mode
The Test mode is used to control the detection coverage of the device not the communication range with the control
unit.
To access test mode, hold the function button pressed for a few seconds then release it to start the test mode that
lasts for three minutes.
The detector will start initialisation during the first 30 seconds. It is advisable not to generate alarms during this time.
Motion detection in front of the detector can be checked at the end of the initialisation period. The red LED lights up for
two seconds after detection.
Double detection function
The detector has a double detection function If the double detection function is enabled, the detector signals an alarm to the
control unit only if two movements are detected in 10 seconds. If the double detection function is disabled, the detector signals
an alarm to the control unit whenever a movement is detected.
DIP Switch position table
Position the dip switches according to the place of installation of the detector and the pet immunity requirements.
The function of each dip switch is listed in the following table. The dip switches can be ON or OFF. Position up
indicates ON, position down indicates OFF.
