Laugh and learn!
We’ve adapted Piano Puppy, placed it in a sturdy mold, and angled it
for easy access. With 2 different children’s songs and three modes of
play, your child will have hours of fun. Learn about colors, numbers,
animals, animal sounds, and parts of the face, greetings and first words
in English or Spanish. Activate using your capability switch or by
pressing the piano keys. Size: 9"L x 2"W x 4"H. Requires 3 AA
Batteries. Weight: ¾ lbs.
Operation:
. The Piano Puppy requires 3 AA batteries. Use alkaline batteries only
(e.g. Duracell or Energizer brand). Do not use rechargeable
batteries or any other type of batteries because they supply lower
voltage and the unit will not perform properly. Never mix old and
new batteries together or different brands or types of batteries
together.
2. The battery compartment is located under the Piano Puppy’s base.
Carefully remove the small screw from the cover using a Phillips
head screwdriver, and lift the cover off. Observing proper (+) & (-)
battery polarity, install 3 AA size batteries into the holder. Replace
the cover and screw. Next turn the On/Off/Volume switch to Low or
High Volume setting. Set Mode selector to ABC, Music or Learn
Spanish mode.
3. Press any of the Piano keys to hear numbers, notes, music or
learning how to count in Spanish. Response for the Piano keys
depends on the activation mode selected.
External Switch Use:
4. You can connect any external capability switch via the jack located
on the side of the base. Make sure your switch is plugged in all the
way. There should be no gaps.
5. Please Note: The switch adaption only controls the same functions
as the Piano Puppy’s nose button. It does not activate any of the
Piano keys.
Troubleshooting:
Problem: The Piano Puppy does not work.
Action #1: Rotate (spin) the batteries within the battery compartment to
ensure a good connection. Check that all batteries are installed properly.
Action #2: Check all batteries for freshness, if weak or dead replace
with new batteries. Use an alkaline battery (E.G. Duracell or Energizer
brand).
Switch Use:
Action #1: Make sure your switch is plugged in all the way. There
should be no gaps.
Action #2: Try your switch with another device you know is working to
rule out your switch as the source of the problem. Please Note: The
switch adaption only controls the same functions as the Piano Puppy’s
nose button. It does not activate any of the Piano keys.
Care of the Unit:
The Piano Puppy can be wiped clean with any mild household multi-
purpose, non-abrasive cleaner and disinfectant. We recommend Simple
Green, which is a non toxic biodegradable all-purpose cleaner.
o not use abrasive cleaners, as they will scratch the surface of the
unit.
o not submerge the unit, as it will damage the electrical
components.
