Our Shooting Stars are sure to be a hit! Push the textured oval or add
your own switch to send stars rocketing through the space ship. This
toy is delighting children at a local children’s rehabilitation center. “It
is an exciting concept,” notes one therapist.
Operation:
The Shooting Stars toys require 4 C batteries and one 9-V battery. The
battery case is located on the back of the unit. To access the batteries
simply remove the Velcro battery cover. Install the batteries paying
careful attention to proper polarity. Replace the battery cover.
To activate the toy, simply press on the textured oval switch and enjoy.
You can also activate these toys with your own external capability
switch. Simply plug your switch into the jack on the side of the toy.
The Shooting Stars will accept switches with 1/8-inch jacks.
Troubleshooting:
Problem: Music and Lights (#2001) do not activate or become
distorted.
Action: Replace the 9-V
Problem: Vibration does not activate
Action: Replace the 2 C batteries that are next to the 9-V battery
and/or check their polarity
Problem: Spinners do not activate (stars do not shoot about)
Action: Replace the 2 C batteries on the far left of the battery
compartment and/or check their polarity
Problem: External switch does not activate the toy
Action: Make sure there are TIGHT connections between the switch
and the toy
Care of Unit:
The Shooting Stars toys can be wiped clean with any household multi-
purpose cleaner and disinfectant.
Do not submerge the unit, as this will damage the contents and the
electrical components.
Do not use abrasive cleaners, as they will scratch the surface of the
unit.
