Overview
The fos/4 Fresnel Theatrical Yoke can be installed on the large
(FD10 or FL10) fos/4 Fresnel. Install the fos/4 Fresnel
Theatrical Yoke using the instructions that follow.
WARNING: In addition to primary suspension,
attach a safety cable (or other approved safety
device) to the fixture. Safety cables must be
rated to support ten times the fixture weight.
Consult local standards to ensure that safety
cables meet all requirements.
Follow all safety precautions described in the
fos/4 Fresnel User Manual , which is available for
download at etcconnect.com.

Tools required:13 mm socket wrench

1. Loosely attach the tilt-locks to each side of the yoke
as shown in the image at right.


2. Gently pull the sides of the yoke away from each
other, and then position the yoke to align over the
clutch plates, with the tilt-lock bolts positioned
behind the clutch plates.


3. Attach the yoke on each side of the fixture using the
yoke hardware (yoke spacer, washer, lock washer,
and yoke bolt). Ensure that the tilt-lock bolt is
captured behind the clutch plate on each side as
shown in the image at right.

CAUTION: Do not overtighten
the yoke bolts. Minimum torque
is 2.82N·m (25in-lb), and
maximum torque is 3.95N·m
(35in-lb).

4. Adjust the position of the yoke as needed to balance
the fixture, and then tighten both bolts using the
13mm socket wrench to secure the yoke in position.

5. Tighten the tilt-locks to secure the fixture position
within the yoke.

