Overview
Install the Yoke using the instructions that follow. Images
show a small (fos4PL8 or fos4PD8) fixture, but the instructions
are the same for all fos/4 Panel models.
WARNING: In addition to primary suspension, attach a safety cable (or other
approved safety device) to the fixture. Safety cables must be rated to support ten
times the fixture weight. Consult local standards to ensure that safety cables
meet all requirements.
Follow all safety precautions described in the fos/4 Panel User Manual , which is
available for download at etcconnect.com.

Install the Yoke
Tools required:13 mm socket wrench
1.
Tilt-lock
Spacer
Yoke bolt
Washers
Tilt-lock bolt
Plate
Position the fixture facedown on a
flat surface.
2. Position the yoke to align with the
sides of the fixture.
3. Use the yoke hardware to loosely
attach the yoke to one side of the
fixture (as shown in the image at
right).

Make sure that the plate is captured
by both the tilt-lock bolt and the
yoke bolt.
•
Make sure that the head of the tilt-
lock bolt is behind the circular clutch
plate on the fixture (see image
below).

4. Repeat step 3 on the other side.
5. Use the 13 mm socket wrench to tighten the yoke bolts, securing the yoke to the fixture.
6. Tighten the tilt-locks to secure the fixture position within the yoke.
