Secure the Front Lens
This kit secures the front lens in your 26° or 36° XDLT lens tube using a new lens bracket and screws
with pre-applied LOCTITE®threadlocker.
Tools required:
• 4.5 mm hex key (for accessory door)
• T20 TORX®screwdriver (for lens tube housing)
• #1 Phillips screwdriver (for lens bracket)
1. Remove the lens tube from the fixture,
and place the lens tube on a flat surface
with the front lens facing up.
2. Remove the beam focus knob and
washer, and remove the screw and spacer
on the opposite side of the lens tube.

3. Open the accessory door. Use the 4.5 mm
hex key to remove the two hinge screws
securing the accessory door, taking care
to hold and then retain each spring as
your remove the hinge screw on that side.
Then remove the accessory door.

4. Place the lens tube on a flat surface with
the front lens facing out.
5. Use the T20 TORX screwdriver to remove
the four screws that secure the two halves
of the lens tube housing, and then
remove the top half of the lens tube
housing. Note the two nuts that are
nested in the lower lens tube housing,
where you removed the beam focus knob
and screw in step 2.

6. Remove the front lens and place it
facedown on a flat, soft surface.
7. Use the #1 Phillips screwdriver to remove
the three screws and bracket as shown at
right.
8. Secure the new bracket to the lens with
the provided LOCTITE screws.

bracket, and replace with
new screws and bracket
9. Restore the front lens in the lens tube.
10. Verify that the two nuts for the beam
focus knob and opposing screw are still
nested in the lower lens tube housing.

11. Restore the upper lens tube housing, and
use the T20 TORX screwdriver to secure it
with the four screws.

12. Place the lens tube on a flat surface with
the front lens facing up, and the side of
the lens tube with the accessory door
facing you.
13. Insert the hinge screw on the right side
part of the way, and then slide the spring
over the screw end from inside the lens
tube housing. Hold the screw and spring
in place, and then position the accessory
door.

14. Position the tension spring on the left side
and hold it in place, and then insert the
screw into the housing and the spring.
15. Use the hex key to tighten both hinge
screws.

16. Restore the beam focus knob and washer,
and the screw and spacer on the opposite
side of the lens tube.
