InstallingtheMountBrackets
1.Raisethedecktothetransportposition.Raisethe
backofthemachineupandsupportthemachine
withjackstands.
CAUTION
Raisingthemowerdeckforserviceor
maintenancerelyingsolelyonmechanical
orhydraulicjackscouldbedangerous.The
mechanicalorhydraulicjacksmaynotbe
enoughsupportormaymalfunctionallowing
theunittofall,whichcouldcauseinjury.
DoNotrelysolelyonmechanicalorhydraulic
jacksforsupport.Useadequatejackstandsor
equivalentsupport.
2.Removethereartiresfromthemachine.
3.Removeandretaintherearweightanditsmounting
hardware(ifapplicable–seeFigure1).Thiswillneed
tobereinstalledifthebaggersupportsandbrackets
areremoved.
4.Removethenutsfromthestudsonthebottom
ofeachhydroasshowninFigure1.Installthe
transmissionsupportbracketandsecurewithnuts.
Removeandretainthetorxboltsonthesidesofthe
rearstylingbracket.

usingtwo3/8-16x21/2inchboltsandtwo3/8
inchwhizlocknuts.

2.Ensuretheblower,beltcover,bags,tubeandhood
areingoodcondition,properlyattachedandlatched.
3.RuntheunitwiththePTOandtheblowerengaged
fortwominutes.
4.DisengagethePTO,stoptheengineandremove
thekey.
5.Removethebeltcoverandchecktomakesurethat
thebeltisridingnearthecenteroftheatidleron
theidlerarm.Ifthebeltisnotridingnearthecenter
oftheidler,removetheblower,andbendtheidler
armslightly.
6.Reinstalltheblowerandbeltcoverandperform
steps3-5againtoverifybeltposition.
