Always
make
sure
the
tool
is
switched
off
before
plugging.
Main
voltage
must
correspond
to
the
operating
voltage
marked
on
the
rating
plate.
The
Angle
Grinders
for
tensions:
105-240
Volts
are
equipped
with
motor
protective
plugs.
When
overloaded
it
disconnects
the
machine.
When
the
motor
protective
plug
is
released,
it
can
again
be
connected
after
20
or
30
seconds
.
Switch
must
be
in
the
"Off"
position,
before
connecting
again
the
motor
protective
plug.
To
prevent
the
overbridging
of
the
insulation
no
additional
marking
plates
and
signs
must
be
riveted
or
screwed
on
the
housing.

recommend
the
use
of
transfers
only.
Only
use
grinding
wheels
wit]].
the
approved
specifications
and
for
the
approved
peripheral
speed
according
to
the
table
(see
ulso
§ 5).
3.
Maintenance
and
lubrication
Before
carrying
out
any
maintenance
work
always
remember
to
pull
out
the
plug.
After
100
duty
hours
clean
cool
air
openings
on
the
motor
housing
.
Blow
out
motor
with
pneumatic
air.
After
300
duty
hours
renew
the
gear
grease.
Use
only
the
Fein
special
gear
grease
FG
9.
Do
not
mix
with
other
greases;
for
this
purpose
grease
also
the
anti-friction
bearing
in
the
gear

Carbon
brushes
should
be
replaced
at
the
latest,

they

worn
down

mm

Use
only
Fein
carbon
brushes
.
After
fitting
new
brushes
run
the
machine
unloaded
for
about
15
minutes
to
allow
brushes
to
bed
in.
Check
cable
at
regul
ar
intervals
.

Dismantling
The
tool
should
only
be
taken
apart
by
an
expert.
1.
Unscrew
screws
(12),
take
off
cover
(11)
.
2.
Disconnect
the
carbon
cabl
,e
and
draw
carbon
brushes
(5)
out
of
the
holder.
3.
Unscrew
screw
(109),
remove
the
control
lever
(108).
Unscrew
screws
(106, 72),
push
away
the
handle
.
Remove
the
cable
from
the
switch
(102) .
4.
Unscrew
screws
(60),
remove
bearing
cape
(51)
with
the
driving
shaft
(47)
and
bevel
gear
(49)
.
Do
not
lose
washers
(61)
and
sealing
rings
(58, 59)!
5.
Remove
the
screws
(70)
and
withdraw
gear
housing
(35),
com-
plete
with
armature
(25)
from
the
motor
housing
(1)
.
6.
Loosen
threaded
ring
(44a),
unscrew
the
bevel
pinion
(43)
and
take
it
out
of
the
armature
shaft
(25).
Hold
in
place
the
armature
shaft
with
the
flats!
Draw
the
armature
shaft
(25)
out
of
the
ball
bearing
(37).
Unscrew
screws
(42),
take
away
flange
(41).
7.
Draw
the
insulating
ring
(10)
out
of
the
motor
housing,
unscrew
screws
(9),
remove
the
pole
housing
(7).
8.
Unscrew
screws
(4)
and
remove
the
carbon
hold
~
r.

dismantle
the
bevel
gear
wheel
(49).
