Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung1Die Pumpe dient dem schnellen und sicheren Entleeren oder Umfüllen von Behältern.
Sie kann je nach Ausführung Flüssigkeiten aller Art fördern.
In explosionsgefährdeter Umgebung kommt die MINIFLUX in Verbindung mit Motoren,
die nach der gültigen Explosionsschutzrichtlinie für den Einsatz in ZONE 1 (Kategorie
2) geeignet sind, zum Einsatz.
Die Montage und der Betrieb der Pumpen und Motoren erfolgt außerhalb des Behäl-
ters.
Neben der Handbedienung ist auch eine Fernbedienung möglich.
Bei stationärem Einsatz ist die Pumpe ständig zu beobachten.
Der Motor kann von der Pumpe abgenommen werden.
Die Einbaulage ist horizontal.
Als Pumpenantrieb stehen Kollektor- und Druckluftmotoren zur Verfügung.
1.1 Einschränkungen, Grenzen der erlaubten Verwendung
Die Pumpen dürfen nicht der Witterung ausgesetzt werden.
Minimale und maximale Temperaturen beachten.
Chemische Beständigkeit beachten, Explosionsschutz beachten.
Die Pumpe wird mit dem Behälter verbunden.
Vorhersehbarer Fehlgebrauch/Missbrauch2 Pumpen- und Zusatzmaterial müssen immer auf das Fördergut abgestimmt sein (siehe
Beständigkeitsliste). Beim Wechsel der Flüssigkeit sind die internen Betriebsanweisun-
gen zu beachten. Mögliche chemische Reaktionen und daraus resultierende Gesund-
heitsgefährdungen und Materialschäden sind zu berücksichtigen. Die Motoren sind nur
im Zusammenhang mit den Pumpen in entsprechenden Flüssigkeiten zu betreiben.
Nichtbeachten kann zu Schäden an Pumpe und Motor und zu Verletzungen des
Bedienpersonals führen.

Vor dem Einsatz der Pumpe die Kupplung auf Leichtgängigkeit
prüfen.
Überprüfen Sie durch Sichtkontrolle die Kupplung an der Pumpe
und dem Mitnehmer am Motor auf Verschleißspuren.
Bei Beschädigung, Kupplung und Mitnehmer austauschen.
Verwenden Sie nur FLUX-Originalteile.

Montage / Inbetriebnahme6> Nur saubere Flüssigkeiten fördern.
> Beachten Sie die Beständigkeit gegenüber der Flüssigkeit.
> Die Betriebsspannung mit dem Typenschild vergleichen.
> Spannungsversorgung mit FI-Schutzschalter ausstatten.
> Änderungen des Netzanschlusses (z.B. Anbringen eines Ex-geschützten CEE-
Rundsteckers) nur durch Elektro-Fachkräfte.
> Beachten Sie die Gebrauchsanweisung der Behälter.
> Behälter so aufstellen, dass Pumpe, Motor und Behälter nicht beschädigt werden
können und keine Personen zu Schaden kommen.
> Achtung - Pumpe und Motor stehen hervor.
> Verletzungsgefahr durch frei laufende Antriebswelle. Motoren nie ohne Pumpe
betreiben.
> Der Bereich um die Pumpe muss abgesichert werden, damit niemand die Pumpe
abreißen kann.
> Schlauch gegen Abrutschen vom Schlauchstecker sichern.
> Die Pumpe und Motor müssen abgestützt werden.
> Den Schlauch am Behälter befestigen, um mechanische Belastungen an der Pum-
pe und am Behälter zu vermeiden.
> Beachten Sie die Bedienungsanleitung der Motoren.
> Beim Einsatz von Druckluftmotoren die mitgelieferten Schalldämpfer oder einen Ab-
luftschlauch verwenden.
> Bei Druckluftmotoren maximalen Betriebsdruck beachten und Wartungseinheit
verwenden.
> Motor ohne Unterspannungsauslösung gegen unbeabsichtigtes Anlaufen sichern.
> Drehstrommotoren nur mit vorgeschaltetem Motorschutzschalter in Betrieb nehmen.
Mit Installationsarbeiten an Elektromotoren dürfen nur Elektrofachkräfte beauftragt
werden.
> Nach der Benutzung das Absperrventil am Behälter (z.B. IBC-Container) schließen
und den Motor abnehmen.
> Pumpe nur für bestimmungsgemäßen Gebrauch einsetzen.
> Pumpe nicht der Witterung aussetzen.
> Pumpe nur mit geeignetem Schlauch betreiben.
> Zwischen Pumpe und Behälter muss ein Absperrventil eingebaut sein.
> Trockenlauf unbedingt vermeiden.
> Vermeiden Sie den längeren Betrieb (max. 5 Minuten) bei geschlossener Saugseite
oder Druckseite.
> Prüfen Sie den Sitz des Motors. Pumpe nur in Betrieb nehmen, wenn die Überwurf-
mutter zwischen Pumpe und Motor von Hand fest angezogen ist.

6.1 Im Ex-Bereich zusätzlich
Ex-Kennzeichnung: II 2G c IIB TX
Die Erwärmung der Pumpe wird von der Mediumstemperatur bestimmt.
Die Flüssigkeitstemperatur darf 60°C nicht überschreiten.
Die Pumpe ist für den Betrieb bei Umgebungstemperaturen von 0°C bis +40°C ausge-
legt.
Im explosionsgefährdeten Bereich und beim Fördern brennbarer Flüssigkeiten nur ex-
plosionsgeschützte Motoren mit der Zulassung für Kategorie 2 (Zone1) oder Druckluft-
motoren verwenden.
EG-Baumusterprüfbescheinigung der Motoren beachten.

6.2 Herstellung eines Potentialausgleichs
Als Potentialausgleich ist eine elektrisch leitende Verbindung zwischen Motor und
Pumpe nach DIN EN 60079-0 und DIN EN 60079-14 herzustellen.
Potentialausgleichsleiter (Massekabel) (1) an der dafür vorgesehenen Schraube des
explosionsgeschützten Motors und der Pumpe befestigen.
Netzanschluss (2) über eine explosionsgeschützte Steckvorrichtung, einen explosions-
geschützten Klemmkasten oder außerhalb des explosionsgefährdeten Bereichs herstel-
len.
Nur Schlauchleitungen (3) mit leitfähiger Einbindung (leitfähigen Schlauchverschrau-
bungen) verwenden (R<106 Ohm) (siehe TRbF 131, Teil 2).
Werden die Motoren zusammen mit der Pumpe betrieben, ist ein umfassender und ein-
deutiger Potentialausgleich durchzuführen.
TRBS 2153 Vermeidung von Zündgefahren infolge elektrostatischer Aufladungen be-
achten.
Entfernen Sie Farbe und Schmutz an den Anklemmstellen der Potentialausgleichsleiter
und den Übergangsstellen der Behälter zum leitfähigen Untergrund, um eine gute Leit-
fähigkeit zu gewährleisten.
Der leitfähige Untergrund (4) muss im Potentialausgleichsystem eingebunden sein.
Ist kein leitfähiger Untergrund vorhanden, müssen an alle Behältnisse Potentialaus-
gleichsleiter angeschlossen werden ().

Bedienung7
Achtung!
Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Bediener die Bedienungsanleitung
gelesen und verstanden hat.
Die Bediener müssen vor der Bedienung der Pumpe eingewie-
sen sein.
Pumpe nur für den bestimmungsgemäßen Gebrauch einsetzen.
Pumpe nicht unbeaufsichtigt lassen.
Achtung –Materialschäden!
Sind die Werkstoffe der Pumpe oder der Zapfpistole (Gehäuse, Ven-
til, Dichtung, Schlauch ...) gegenüber der zu fördernden Flüssigkeit
nicht beständig, dürfen diese nicht verwendet werden.
Beständigkeitsliste beachten.
Trockenlauf unbedingt vermeiden.
Achtung!
Betriebsinterne Anweisung beachten.
Schutzkleidung tragen (Gesichtsschutz, Gehörschutz benutzen, Schutz-
handschuhe usw.)
Beachten Sie auch in der Umgebung tätige Personen.
Achtung!
Maximalen Betriebsdruck und Betriebstemperatur beachten. Bei
hohem Betriebsdruck können Behälter oder Schläuche platzen
oder sich lösen.
Sorgen Sie dafür, dass es beim Einfüllen in einen Behälter nicht
zu einem Überdruck kommt.
Achtung!
Motor, Pumpe und Schlauch vor jeder Benutzung auf Betriebs-
sicherheit prüfen.
Auf äußere Beschädigungen achten.
Vor dem Einschalten des Pumpenmotors die angeschlossenen
Armaturen öffnen. Eventuell eingeschlossene Luft wird sonst zu-
rück in den Behälter gedrückt, und Flüssigkeit spritzt heraus.
Achtung!
Vorsichtig und mit angemessener Geschwindigkeit abfüllen, um
ein Herausspritzen der Flüssigkeiten zu verhindern.
Die Zapfpistole nach dem Abfüllvorgang abtropfen lassen.
Im Auslaufrohr kann sich noch Flüssigkeit befinden, die dann
unkontrolliert herausfließt.
Verschüttete Flüssigkeit am Boden entfernen und umweltgerecht
entsorgen.

Achtung!
Den Motor auf die Pumpe aufsetzen.
Vor dem Einstecken des Netzsteckers bzw. vor Anschluss des
Druckluftschlauches Ein-/Aus-Schalter auf "0" (Stopp) stellen.
Das Netzanschlusskabel vor jeder Benutzung auf Beschädigun-
gen überprüfen.
Das Netzanschlusskabel von Lösemittel fernhalten.
Netzstecker einstecken bzw. Druckluftschlauch anschließen.
Pumpe erst einschalten, wenn sie fest am Behälter angebracht
ist und das Absperrventil des Behälters geöffnet ist.
Motor einschalten.
Bei den Motoren FEM 4070, F 457 EL, F 458 EL und F 460 Ex
EL mit dem Stellknopf die gewünschte Drehzahl einstellen (Re-
gulierung der Fördermenge).
Pumpe nicht unbeaufsichtigt lassen.
Umrüstung8 Nur die in der Bedienungsanleitung genannten Motoren sind zugelassen. Explosions-
schutzdokument beachten.
Entfernen der Pumpe vom Container9 Absperrventil am Behälter schließen.
Netzstecker ziehen bzw. Druckluft absperren.
Die Überwurfmutter am Motor aufdrehen.
Den Motor von der Pumpe abnehmen.
Stellen Sie einen geeigneten Auffangbehälter bereit um evtl. Flüssigkeit aufzufangen,
die aus dem Schlauch und der Pumpe zurückfließt.
Die Überwurfmutter an der Pumpe aufdrehen.
Die Pumpe vom Container abnehmen.
Verschüttete Flüssigkeit am Boden entfernen und umweltgerecht entsorgen.
Trockenlauf unbedingt vermeiden.
Transport10 Für den Transport Pumpe vom Behälter entfernen.
Keinesfalls darf die Pumpe zusammen mit dem Behälter transportiert werden.
Der Netzstecker muss gezogen und das Netzkabel aufgerollt sein.
Pumpe, Schlauch und Armaturen vor dem Transport entleeren. Die Armaturen zum
Entleeren ganz öffnen.

Reinigung11 Die Pumpe, den Motor und das Netzanschlusskabel nur außerhalb des explosionsge-
fährdeten Bereichs reinigen.
Bei Behälterwechsel oder Produktwechsel Pumpe reinigen.
Die Pumpe mit einem geeigneten Reinigungsmittel durchspülen.
Pumpe und Schlauch müssen gegenüber dem Reinigungsmittel beständig sein.
Keine brennbaren Flüssigkeiten verwenden.
Beachten Sie die Sicherheitshinweise.
Wartung / Reparatur12 > Reparaturen an explosionsgeschützten Motoren/Pumpen dürfen nur vom Hersteller
oder einer hierfür autorisierten Werkstatt vorgenommen werden.
> Alle Motoren gemäß den gesetzlichen/länderspezifischen Bestimmungen und Un-
fallverhütungsvorschriften regelmäßig überprüfen (in Deutschland z.B. DGUV Vor-
schrift 3)
> Motor, Netzkabel, Pumpe und Schlauch regelmäßig auf Betriebssicherheit überprü-
fen.
> Defekte Netzanschlusskabel sind grundsätzlich zu ersetzen. Änderungen am Netz-
anschlusskabel sind nur von Elektrofachkräften durchzuführen.
> Pumpe, Schlauch und Armaturen vor der Wartung/Reparatur entleeren. Die Arma-
turen zum Entleeren ganz öffnen.
> Bei Wartung/Reparatur der Pumpe muss der Motor von der Pumpe abgenommen
werden. Defekte Teile grundsätzlich ersetzen.
-Nur Originalersatzteile verwenden.
> Die Schlauchklemmen bzw. Schlaucheinfassungen auf sicheren Sitz regelmäßig
kontrollieren.
Demontage / Entsorgung13 > Pumpe, Schlauch, und Armaturen vor der Demontage entleeren.
> Umweltschädliche Substanzen und Flüssigkeiten in geeigneten Behältern auffan-
gen und umweltgerecht entsorgen.
> Schrott, nicht reparable oder nicht wiederverwendbare Teile umweltgerecht entsor-
gen.

Intended use1The pump is used for the fast and safe emptying or filling of containers. It can pump all
kinds of fluids according to the design.
In hazardous areas the MINIFLUX is used with motors that are suitable for the use in
ZONE 1 (category 2) according to the valid Explosion Protection Directive.
The assembly and the operation of the pumps and motors are performed outside the
container.
Manual as well as remote operation is possible.
For stationary use, the pump has to be constantly observed.
The motor can be released from the pump.
The mounting position is horizontally.
As a pump drive commutator and compressed-air motors are available.
1.1 Restrictions, limits of permitted use
Do not expose the pumps to the weather.
Observe minimum and maximum temperatures.
Observe the chemical resistance and the explosion protection.
The pump is connected to the container.
Foreseeable misuse2 Pump and accessory material must always be suitable for the product to be transferred
(see resistance chart).
Observe the operating instructions when changing the liquid. Take possible chemical
reactions and the resulting health hazards and material damage into account.
Only operate the motors in conjunction with the pumps in the corresponding liquids.
Non-observance may result in damage to the pump and the motor and operator injury.

Before using the pump check the coupling for smooth operation.
Check the coupling on the pump and the driver at the motor by
visual inspection for wear.
If damaged, replace coupling and driver. Use only original spare
parts by FLUX.

Assembly / Commissioning6> Only use clean liquids.
> Observe the resistance to the liquid.
> Make sure that the supply voltage corresponds to the voltage indicated.
> Provide the power supply in damp locations with fault current breakers.
> Changes to the mains connections (e.g. mounting an ex-proof CEE circular plug)
may only be carried out by qualified electricians.
> Observe the operating instructions of the containers.
> Place the container so that pump, motor and container cannot be damaged and no
person will be hurt.
> Attention –pump and motor protrude.
> Risk of injury due to open drive shaft. Never operate the motor without pump.
> The area around the pump must be secured so that nobody can tear off the pump.
> Secure the hose from sliding off the hose connector.
> Motor and pump must be supported.
> Fix the hose on the container to avoid mechanical stress on the pump and the
container.
> Observe the operating instructions of the motors.
> When using compressed-air motors use the delivered silencer or an exhaust hose.
> Observe the maximum operating pressure of the compressed air-motors and use a
service unit.
> Protect motors without no-volt release against accidental starting.
> Only start three-phase motors with an upstream motor protection switch installed.
Installation work on three-phase motors may only by carried out by qualified
personnel.
> After use close the stop valve on the container (e.g. IBC container) and take off the
motor.
> Use pump only for its intended use.
> Do not expose the pump to the weather.
> Operate pump only with a suitable hose.
> There must be a stop valve between pump and container.
> No dry-run.
> Avoid longer operation (max. 5 minutes) at closed suction or pressure side.
> Check the seat of the motor. Only operate the pump when the union nut between
the pump and the motor ist tightened hand-tight.

6.1 In hazardous areas additionally
Ex-marking: II 2G c IIB TX
The heating of the pump is determined by the medium temperature.
The temperature of the liquid must not exceed 60°C.
The pump is designed for an operation at surrounding temperatures of 0°C to +40°C.
In hazardous areas and when pumping flammable liquids only use explosion-proof
motors approved for category 2 (zone 1) or compressed-air motors.
Observe the EC type examination certificate of the motors.

6.2 Equipotential bonding
As equipotential bonding an electrically conductive connection between motor and
pump is to be established in accordance with DIN EN 60079-0 and DIN EN 60079-14.
Connect the equipotential bonding conductor (earth wire) (1) to the designated screw
on the explosion-proof motor and the pump.
Mains connection (2) is to be established via an explosion-proof connector, an explo-
sion-proof terminal box or outside the hazardous area.
Only use hose lines (3) with conductive integration (conductive hose unions) (R<106
Ohm) (see TRbF 131, part 2).
If the motors are operated together with the pump comprehensive, clear equipotential
bonding is essential.
Observe the directive TRBS 2153 “Avoidance of ignition hazards due to electrostatic
charge”.
Remove paint and dirt from all connection points of equipotential bonding conductors
and transition points of the containers to the electrically conductive base ground to en-
sure good conductivity.
The electrically conductive base ground (4) must be an integral part of the equipotential
bonding system.
If a conductive base ground is not available, equipotential bonding conductors must be
connected to all barrels and containers.

Operation7
Attention!
Make sure that the operator has read and understood the operat-
ing instructions.
The operators must be instructed before operating the pump.
Use pump only for its intended use.
Never leave the pump unattended.
Attention! Material damage!
If pump or hand nozzle (housing, valve, seal, hose...) materials
are not resistant to the liquid to be transferred, these must not
be used.
Observe chemical resistance and internal instructions.
Avoid dry running in any case.
Caution!
Follow internal instructions.
Wear protective clothing.
(face and breathing protection, protective gloves, etc.)
Mind persons working in the area.
Caution!
The maximum operating pressure and the operating temperature
must not be exceeded.
High operating pressure may result in the containers or the hoses
bursting or becoming loose.
Make sure that excessive pressure does not result when filling a
container.
Caution!
Check motor, pump and hose for operational safety before every
use.
Pay attention to external damage.
Open the connected fittings before turning on the motor. Any
trapped air will force back into the container and the liquid
splashes.
Fill carefully and at an appropriate speed to avoid leakage of the
liquid.
After the filling, allow the excess to drip off the hand nozzle.
There may be liquid left in the outlet tube which will then leak out.

Caution!
Remove spilled liquid from the floor and dispose of it in an
environmentally sound manner.
Place the motor on the pump.
Before plugging the plug and connecting the air supply hose to
the motor, set the Start/Stop switch to "0" (Stop).
Check the mains connection cable for damage before every use.
Keep the mains connection from solvents.
Plug the plug resp. connect the air supply hose.
Only start the pump when it is tightly fixed on the container and
the stop valve of the container is open.
Turn on the motor.
Set the desired speed with the adjustment knob (regulation of the
delivery rate) at the motors FEM 4070, F 457 EL, F 458 EL and
F 460 Ex EL.
Never leave the pump unattended.
Conversion8 Only the motors mentioned in the operating instructions are allowed.
Observe the explosion-proof document.
Remove pump from container9
Close the stop valve on the container.
Unplug the plug resp. shut off the compressed air.
Unscrew the union nut on the motor.
Remove the motor from the pump.
Provide a suitable collection container to catch liquid that may flow back from the hose
and the pump.
Unscrew the union nut on the pump.
Remove the pump from the container.
Remove spilled liquid from the floor and dispose of it in an environmentally sound
manner.
Avoid running dry in any case.
Transport10 For transport remove pump from container.
In no way the pump may be transported with the container.
The plug must be unplugged and the mains connections must be rolled up.
Empty pump, hose and fittings before transport. Totally open the fittings for emptying.

Cleaning11 Clean pump, motor and mains connection only outside the hazardous area.
Clean pump when changing container or product.
Rinse the pump with an appropriate detergent.
Pump and hose must be resistant to the cleaning agent.
Do not use flammable liquids.
Observe the safety instructions.
Maintenance / Repair12 > Repairs on explosion-proof motors or pumps may only be carried out by the manu-
facturer or an authorized repair shop.
> All motors must be checked regularly in accordance with the legal/country-specific
requirements and accident prevention regulations (in Germany, e.g. DGUV
Vorschrift 3).
> Regularly check motor, cable, pump and hose on operational safety.
> Always replace defective mains connection cables. Changes to the mains connec-
tion may only be carried out by trained electricians.
> Empty pump, hose and fittings before maintenance / repair. Totally open the fittings
for emptying.
> On maintenance / repair of the pump the motor must be removed from the pump.
Always replace defective parts.
> Only use genuine spare parts.
> Regularly check the hose clamps or hose holders for firm seating.
Dismantling and Disposal13 > The pump, the hose and the fittings must be emptied prior to dismantling.
> Collect environmentally harmful substances and liquids in appropriate containers
and dispose of them in an environmentally sound manner.

Utilisation conforme1La pompe sert à transvaser ou à vider rapidement et en toute sécurité des containers.
Elle peut selon le modèle pomper des liquides de toute nature.
En zone à risque d’explosion, la pompe MINIFLUX et des moteurs sont utilisés qui sont
conçus et certifiés selon la directive relative á l’utilisation d’appareils en atmosphères
explosibles valable.
Le montage et l’opération des pompes et moteurs s’effectue dehors du container.
La pompe a une commande directe mais peut également être équipée d’une com-
mande à distance.
La pompe doit être en permanence sous surveillance quand l’utilisation est stationnaire.
Le moteur peut être retiré de la pompe.
La position de montage est horizontale.
A l’entraînement de la pompe les moteurs universels et à air comprimés sont dispo-
nibles.
1.1 Restrictions, limites de l’utilisation permise
La pompe ne doit pas être soumise aux intempéries.
Veuillez respecter les températures minimum et maximum.
Veuillez respecter les caractéristiques de résistance chimique de matériaux et la pro-
tection antidéflagrante.
La pompe est connectée avec le container.
Contre-indications d’utilisation2 Les matériaux des pompes et accessoires doivent être adaptés aux matières à pomper
(voir liste de compatibilité).
Veuillez respecter les instructions de service internes lors du changement de liquide.
Tenez compte des éventuelles réactions chimiques et des dangers en résultant pour la
santé et les matériaux.
N’utilisez les moteurs qu’avec les pompes prévues pour les liquides donnés.
Le non-respect de cette consigne peut entraîner des dommages sur la pompe et le mo-
teur et provoquer des blessures chez le personnel opérateur.
