and the recognised engineering standards.

5. Application
Electronic module A3000 open, for system flushing with cold water (hygiene flush)
and hot water (thermal disinfection) via ECC function controller. Combined for
concealed installation.

11. Assembly
Caution!
Before commissioning the system flush, free drainage must be ensured by the
customer.
11.1 Interrupt the water supply.
11.2 Install the water volume regulators (b) with flush connector (d) leak-tight onto the
branch pipes (a) for hot water and cold water.
11.3 Align the water volume regulators so that the locking screw (c) and operating
element (e) are freely accessible.
11.4 Ensure free drainage (f) beyond the flush connector.
11.5 Open the water volume regulators using an Allen key.

11.6 Re-establish the water supply.
11.7 Flush the pipes.
11.8 Check the water connections for leaks.
11.9 Close the water volume regulators (see Work step 11.5).
11.10 Unscrew the locking screws (c) on the water volume regulators.
11.11 Insert the filters (i).
☞Important!
Note the installation position of the filters.
11.12 Screw in the locking screws (c).
11.13 Remove the flush connector (d).
11.14 Insert the solenoid valve (k) with the filter (l) and seals (m).
11.15 Connect the solenoid valve to the electronic module (see Chapter 10.).

☞For better heat transfer, it is recommended to place a couple of drops of thermally
conductive paste (to be provided by the customer) on the contact temperature
sensor (o).
11.16 Place the contact temperature sensor (o) on the main lines (p).
11.17 Place the flexible cable tie (n) around the contact temperature sensor and the pipe
and tighten.
11.18 Connect the contact temperature sensor (o) to the electronic module. Use the
extension cable if necessary (see Chapter 10.).

Install the electrical T-distributor
Warning!
• Operate the product only with safety extra low voltage (SELV). The components
must not be earthed.
• Place the power supply (not part of the delivery , see accessories, Chapter 15)
outside the wet area in a separate room.
• Protect the power supply with a residual current circuit breaker (RCD).
Failure to observe this instruction can result in death or material damage due to
electric shock or fire, for example.
☞Important!
The components of the electrical T-distributor may only be installed after the power
has been switched off.
☞Recommended system lines see Chapter 15., accessories.
When using cables other than the system line, pay attention to the different colour
code. The outer diameter must not exceed 7.5 mm.
11.19 Remove the sleeving (q) of the system lines (approx. 40 mm).
11.20 Push the union nut (s) onto the system line (r) up to the limit stop.
☞The various wire guides are marked with numbers 1 to 4.
11.21 Push the wires (t) into the wire guides (u) according to their colours.
11.22 Cut off the projecting wire ends flush, i.e. without protrusions.
11.23 Push the union nut (s) onto the electrical T-distributor (v) and tighten it to the
required torque (1.2 Nm).
Caution!
Note the polarity.
The same wire colour must be in the same wire guide for both union nuts.
☞When tightening the union nut, the electrical contact and tension relief are created
automatically.
Special seals act as protection from dust and water.
11.24 Connect the electrical T-distributor to the electronic module (see Chapter 10.).
11.25 Open the water volume regulators (see Work step 11.5).

12. Function
Cold water
The contact temperature sensor continuously measures the temperature in the cold
water line. If the temperature exceeds the set target value, the solenoid valve opens.
Water heated by stagnation flows out. When the temperature reaches the set target
value, the solenoid valve closes.
Hot water
The contact temperature sensor continuously measures the temperature in the hot
water line. If the temperature falls below the set target value, the solenoid valve
opens. Water cooled by stagnation flows out. When the temperature reaches the set
target value, the solenoid valve closes.
Target values
The default setting for the cold water target value is 25 °C.
The default setting for the hot water target value is 40 °C.
The target values can be set using the free software when the fitting is connected to
an ECC function controller.
13. Maintenance and care
The fitting must be checked and maintained at regular intervals depending on the
water quality and in accordance with the local conditions and rules and regulations
applicable at the site.

13.1 Close the water volume regulators (see Work step 11.5).
13.2 Unscrew the locking screws (a) on the water volume regulators.
13.3 Replace the filters (b).
☞Important!
Note the installation position of the filters.
13.4 Reassemble in reverse order.

13.5 Close the water volume regulators (see Work step 11.5).
13.6 Release the cap nut (c) on the solenoid valve (d).
13.7 Replace the filter (e).
13.8 Reassemble in reverse order.
