amaging the rubber coating.
• Shut own the machine after laminating to avoi misusing this machine by
others.
• Shut own the power before moving the machine
• Note the locations of foot wheels while moving or operating this machine to
avoi injuries to your feet.
• Disconnect from the power supply before repair or maintenance.
• Disconnect from the power supply when the machine is not in use for
a long time.
• When the machine lies i le for a long perio of time, raise the top rubber

• Provi e enough space aroun machine to ensure the safe an effective operation.
The minimum area covere is 8 ft. x 10 ft.
• Do not irectly cut the films on the surfaces of the rubber rollers to avoi
amages to the rollers.
• Do not put burrs, sharp knives or extra thick an har materials in between the
rollers. Do not leave objects like tools, rulers, knives, etc on the working panels
or the si e cabinets to avoi their being rolle into the machine acci entally an
amaging the rollers.
• For repairs an replacements, please contact your local istributor. Unauthorize
repairs an ismantling will affect future maintenances of the machines.
• The machine can laminate continuously objects less than ½” thick.
For objects over ½” but less than 1” thick, use the pe al switch.

shaft, an sli e brake assembly off the supply shaft.
2. Sli e the new roll onto the supply shaft
3. Return the brake assembly to the supply shaft
4. Position the supply roll in the mi le of the supply shaft an measure the
istance from one si e of the roll to the si e frame (You’ll use this
measurement when loa ing the top supply roll in section #13 to align the top
an bottom rolls)

1. Loosen the pressure-a justing nut near the right cabinet, an the rewin
tube can then be remove from the machine
2. Sli e a car boar tube onto the rewin tube by rotating away from the core
stop clip
3. Install the rewin tube onto the positioning sleeves with the core stop clip
pointing away from the Nip Rollers or towar rear of the machine with
core stop clip positione on top of the rewin tube. (Note: Pay attention
to the irection of the core stop clip, or the application will be affecte .)
4. The rewin tube is riven by friction. The friction an tension will be
increase with a left turn of the pressure-a justing nut, an a right turn will
ecrease them.
$ote:
Adjust the rewind tube pressure-adjustment nut to allow the
backing paper to be removed and the film to enter the rollers evenly

14. Threading Film
1. Place col film roll on top supply shaft an mounting a hesive roll on bottom.
( See “Loa ing film” section 13)
2. Pull the film with the paper liner by han , making sure there is proper
resistance. The resistance can be a juste with the a justing sleeves near the
core chucks on each si e of the supply shaft
3. Turn the pressure-a justing han -wheel to lift up the upper rubber roller.
4. Pass the film through the two rollers an lay on the rear working panel. Pull the
film flat then turn the pressure-a justing han -wheel to let own the upper
rubber roller.
5. Separate the paper liner from the film web at an appropriate place, pull up the
liner an tape it to the paper tube on the top rewin tube
$OTE: lide film cutter between the paper liner and film to cut liner only.
Be careful not to cut the top heat roller
6. Use foot pe al to a vance the film web until the a hesive is expose on the
front of the top nip roller
7. Raise the fee tray assembly
8. Bring the bottom mounting a hesive or me ia web up an tack to the expose
film web a hesive
9. Lower the fee tray assembly
10. Use foot pe al to a vance both webs until cleare of the nip rollers
$ote: The film should be wrinkleless and tight to the surface of the heat
roller. If the film is not tight enough, turn increase the roller pressure. If
wrinkles appear in the film web, adjust the brake tension on both sides of
the film roll

15. Operation
1. Plug power cor into a proper receptacle
• Connect the attachment plug provi e with the laminator to a suitably
groun e outlet only. This machine must have reliable earth wire to ensure
the safety of the machine uring operations
• Contact an electrician shoul the attachment plug provi e with the laminator
not match the receptacles at your location
• Ensure that the voltages of the power supply you are using match the rate
working voltages before operations. Do not use incorrect power supply
• Do not use amage wires or sockets. If abnormal con itions occur, switch
off the power supply first.
2. Turn power to “ON” with the rear power switch
16. Roller Gap
1. When the pressure-a justing han -wheel is turne clockwise, the top rubber
roller comes own an the pressure will increase
2. With a counter-clock turn, the top rubber roller goes up an the pressure will
ecrease.
3. Too much nip pressure will wrinkle the output. Bring the nip roller own to
just touch the film, then a slight increase in pressure
4. When using the 230C, bring the rollers own only to touch the film together.

17. Laminating
$ote: It is hard to remove film adhesive once it gets onto the rubber
rollers. When laminating, always use materials same width as the film
roll. If your sheets are narrower than the film roll, use a laminating sled
or Kraft paper roll on the bottom to keep the film adhesive from sticking
to the bottom machine rubber roller. Always use media roll the same
width or wider than the film supply roll.
To clean the rollers, use rubber eraser or Isopropyl Alcohol and a shop
towel.
17. A ingle heets using a sled
• Loa a roll of laminating film on the top roller
( see loa ing film section 13)
• Turn the pressure-a justing han -wheel to lift up the upper roller.
• Select a piece of Gatorboar or other PVC mounting boar the wi th
of the film web to use as a sle un er the print to be laminate
• Insert the sle between the nip rollers an lower the top roller until it
touches the sle
• Reverse the motor to back the sle out of the rollers
• Pass the film web un er the i ler bar an own in front of the roller
• Separate 1” of the paper liner from the film web, attach film web to
a lea er boar the wi th of the film roll an insert lea er boar into
the rollers
• Use foot pe al to a vance the film web half way through the roller
an stop
• Position print on the sle
• Depress the foot switch an run sle through
• Insert another lea er boar or next sle right behin the first sle
