IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using your cotton candy maker, safety precautions should
always be followed including the following:
1. Read all instructionscarefully.
2. Do not touch hot surfaces.
3. Toavoid electrical shock, do not use this cotton candy maker near
water. Do not immerse the cotton candy maker, cord, or plug in
water.
4. Do not allow the cotton candy maker or the cord to hang overthe
edge of a table orcounter.
5. This cotton candy maker should not be used near any heatsource.
6. Do not use the cotton candy maker outdoors. This cotton candy
maker is designed for household useonly.
7. Do not touch moving parts. Keep hands, hair and clothing awayto
reduce the risk or injury or damage to theproduct.
8. Only use this cotton candy maker for its intended use. Neveruse
attachments not designed for thisappliance.
9. Do not touch the sugar container, motor base or the heating
elements when in use. Keep hands away from the machine when
it is ON and the sugar container is spinning.
10. Unplug the cotton candy maker when not in use,before
assembling and beforecleaning.
11. The motor base must be on a dry, level, heat-resistantsurface.
12. Check the inside heating elements for foreign objectsbefore
turning on the cotton candy maker.
13. The heating elements in the middle of the motor base will gethot.
Avoid contact until the cotton candy maker hascooled.
14. Do not move this appliance while inoperation.
15. Do not attempt to repair this cotton candy maker yourself. Do not
operate this appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the
appliance has malfunctioned, or is dropped or damaged in any
manner. Contact Ginny’s customer service at our toll-free number
for a replacement or return.
16. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used byor
near children. Children should be supervised to ensure that they
do not play with thisappliance.

To reduce the risk of electrical shock, this cotton candy maker is
equipped with a polarized plug, in which one prong is wider than
the other. This plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only
in one direction. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet,
reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified
electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
No user-serviceable parts inside. A short cord is provided to reduce
the hazards resulting of entanglement or tripping over a long cord.
An extension cord may be used with care, however, the marked
electrical rating should be at least as great as the electrical rating of
this appliance. The extension cord should not be allowed to drape
over the counter or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or
tripped over.

INSTALLATION HOW TO OPERATE
STEP 1. Wash the parts (see Cleaning & Care onpage 8). 1. Place the cotton candy maker on a level, heat-resistantsurface.
2. Place the plug into anoutlet.
3. Turn the cotton candy maker to ON. Be sure to allow the cotton
candy maker to preheat for 5 minutes beforeusing.
4. Turn the cotton candy maker OFF “0” position, and place 1
measuring scoop (1 tablespoon) of refined cane sugar or .50
ounces of crushed hard candy into the sugar container. Becareful
not to pour sugar directly into the motor base or heatingelements.
Only place sugar inside the sugar container when it is properly
mounted to the motor base.
DO NOT place sugar or hard candy into the sugar container while
it is running. The sugar container spins when the cotton candy
maker is ON.
Insert the plastic bowl on top of the motor base, then turn it to the right
(counter-clockwise) until the tabs on the bowl line up under the tabs on
the motor base.
Insert the sugar container onto the motor base. Press down firmly until
the shaft slots on the sugar container post fit over the horizontal pinson
the motor base shaft.
5. Pre-packaged colored and flavored cotton candy sugar can be
used in this appliance. Tomake your cotton candy colorful, simply
add drops of food coloring to the sugar, prior to placing the sugar
in the container.
NOTE: Putting too much food coloring in will affect the ability to form
cotton candy.
COLORED SUGAR RECIPE:
In a lidded jar, place 1/4 cup of sugar with a few drops of food color.
Shake vigorously until the color is evenly distributed.
OR, use colored sugar from the cake decorating aisle.
BE SURE NOT TO ADD MORE THAN 1 TABLESPOON OF
SUGAR AT A TIME IN THIS APPLIANCE.
6. Immediately after the desired sugar or hard candy has beenadded,
turn the cotton candy maker ON. Cotton candy strands will come
out of the sugar container within 2minutes.
7. Use the plastic sticks to accumulate the cotton candy. Swirl the
plastic sticks around the bowl until the desired amount of cotton
candy has been accumulated. Lift stick out of the bowl andenjoy.
8. Repeat steps 4-6 to continuously produce more cottoncandy.
9. IMPORTANT: Do not operate the cotton candy maker continuously
for more than 40 minutes at a time. Allow 10 minutes to cool down
before operating again. This cotton candy maker is not designed
for commercial use.
STEP 2

CLEANING & CARE WARRANTY
1. Make sure the power is OFF “0” position and the cotton candy
maker is unplugged from a power source before cleaning.
2. Allow the cotton candy maker to cool for 30 minutes beforecleaning.
3. Remove the bowl and sugar container from the motor base and
wash in warm, soapy water.
4. Do not place the motor base in water. Wipe the exterior of the
motor base using a warm, dampcloth.
5. Do not place any part of the cotton candy maker inthe dishwasher.
Hand wash only.
Ginny’s warrants this product free from defects in material
and workmanship for one year from provable date of purchase.
Within this warranty period, Ginny’s will repair orreplace,
at its option, defective parts at no charge, provided the
product is returned, freight prepaid with proof of
purchase to Ginny’s.
Allow 2-4 weeks for return shipping.
This warranty does not cover improper installation, misuse,
abuse or neglect on part of the owner.
Warranty is also invalid in any case that the
product is taken apart or serviced by an
unauthorized service station.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights
and they may vary from state to state.
