Ce manuel d’utilisation comprend des
indications sur le fonctionnement de votre
appareil et les précautions à suivre pour
votre sécurité. Merci de le lire attentivement
avant la première utilisation et de le conserver

• Pendant la charge, la batterie doit être
placée dans un emplacement bien aéré.
• Eviter les ammes et les étincelles. Ne pas
fumer.
• Protéger les surfaces de contacts
électriques de la batterie à l’encontre
des courts-circuits.

Risque de projection d’acide !
• Porter des lunettes et des gants de
protection.
• En cas de contact avec les yeux ou la
peau, rincer immédiatement à l’eau et
consulter un médecin sans tarder.
Connexion / déconnexion :
• Déconnecter l’alimentation avant de
brancher ou de débrancher les connexions
sur la batterie.
• La borne de la batterie non reliée au
châssis doit être connectée la première.
L’autre connexion doit être effectuée sur
le châssis loin de la batterie et de la
canalisation de combustible. Le chargeur
de batterie doit alors être raccordé au
réseau.
• Après l’opération de charge, débrancher
le chargeur de batterie du réseau puis
retirer la connexion du châssis et enn
la connexion de la batterie, dans l’ordre
indiqué.
Raccordement :
• Appareil de classe II.
• Cet appareil est muni d’une protection
par fusible.
Entretien :
• Si le câble d’alimentation est endommagé,
il doit être remplacé par le fabricant, son
service après-vente ou des personnes
de qualication similaire an d’éviter un
danger.

DESCRIPTION GÉNÉRALE
Les chargeurs TCB 60, TCB 90 et TCB 120 sont destinés à la recharge de batteries au plomb à électrolyte liquide ou
géliée, de tension nominale 12V et de capacités indiquées selon le tableau suivant:

FONCTIONNEMENT EN MODE TESTEUR
Quand il ne sont pas connectés à l’alimentation secteur, ces chargeurs peuvent être utilisés comme testeur de batte-
rie. Ils permettent en eet de connaître à tout moment l’état de votre batterie. Pour cela, le voltmètre renseigne les
informations suivantes :
• <12.3 V : procéder à une recharge
• entre 12.3 et 12.6 V : charge moyenne
• >12.6 V : charge correcte
BRANCHEMENT EN MODE CHARGEUR
Précautions préalables
• Choisir un local abrité et susamment aéré ou spécialement aménagé.
• Enlever les bouchons de la batterie (si celle–ci en est munie) et s’assurer que le niveau de liquide (électrolyte) est
correct. Sinon ajouter de l’eau distillée. Nettoyer soigneusement les bornes et les cosses de la batterie.
• Vérier que la capacité (en Ampère-heure) et la tension (en Volt) de la batterie sont compatibles avec votre
chargeur.
Raccordement et débranchement
• Relier les pinces (+ rouge et - noire) aux bornes + et - de la batterie en assurant un bon contact et respectant
l’ordre suivant :
◦ Connecter en premier la borne qui n’est pas reliée au châssis du véhicule (borne +).
◦Relier ensuite la borne sur le châssis, sur un point éloigné de la batterie et de toute canalisation de combustible
(an de limiter les risques d’inammation des vapeurs d’essence lors de l’apparition d’un arc électrique pouvant
résulter d’une déconnexion accidentelle en charge de la pince.)
◦En dernier, connecter l’alimentation du chargeur à l’alimentation secteur 230 V - 50/60 Hz.
• Après la charge,
◦débrancher le chargeur de batterie de l’alimentation réseau
◦ retirer la connexion du châssis (borne -)
◦ enn, retirer la connexion de la batterie (borne +).

Déroulement de la charge
• Le voyant vert «POWER» au-dessus du fusible indique la présence du secteur.
• Le voyant orange indique que la charge est en cours.
• Il passe au voyant vert «OK» quand la charge est terminée.
• Si le chargeur ne passe pas sur le voyant « vert » au bout de 24h, contrôler d’abord le fusible (après avoir dé-
branché votre appareil). S’il est bon, faire vérier votre batterie par un professionnel.
• L’appareil recharge une batterie au courant maximum, puis passe automatiquement en allure modérée pour com-
pléter la charge à 100%. Cette fonctionnalité « oating » permet de laisser votre batterie en charge indéniment,
sans risque.
• Le chargeur détecte une batterie dont la tension est supérieure à 4 V.
PROTECTIONS
Les TCB ont été conçus avec un maximum de protections :
• Les pinces de charge sont isolées.
• L’inversion de polarité ne cause aucun danger. La protection est assurée par un fusible automobile qu’il faut
remplacer en cas d’erreur. Respecter le calibre du fusible indiqué sur l’appareil.
• Le fusible en face avant protège le chargeur contre les surintensités pouvant être créées par une batterie défec-
tueuse ou une mauvaise manipulation.
• Protection thermique : le transformateur est protégé par un thermostat (refroidissement : environ ¼ d’heure).
BATTERIES SULFATÉES, DÉMARRAGE
• Si la batterie est sulfatée, le chargeur signalera rapidement que la batterie est chargée. Dans ce cas, faire vérier
la batterie par un professionnel.
• Ne jamais laisser l’appareil branché sur le véhicule pendant un démarrage. Cela peut casser le fusible.
Pendant la charge :
◦ Ne pas essayer de démarrer le véhicule
◦ éteindre tous les organes électriques pouvant consommer du courant sur la batterie (feux,
autoradio...).

La garantie ne couvre pas :
• Toutes autres avaries dues au transport.
• L’usure normale des pièces (Ex. : câbles, pinces, etc.).
• Les incidents dus à un mauvais usage (erreur d’alimentation, chute, démontage).
• Les pannes liées à l’environnement (pollution, rouille, poussière).
En cas de panne, retourner l’appareil à votre distributeur, en y joignant :
- un justicatif d’achat daté (ticket de sortie de caisse, facture….)
- une note explicative de la panne.

• Protect the electrical contacts of the battery
against short-circuiting.

battery acid, rinse the affected part of
the body with plenty of water and seek
immediate medical assistance.

Connection / disconnection:
• Disconnect the power supply before
connecting/disconnecting the device to/
from the battery.
• The terminal of the battery that is not
connected to the car frame must be
connected rst. The other connection
must be made on the car frame, far from
the battery and the fuel line. The battery
charger must be connected to the power
supply network.
• After the charging process, disconnect the
battery charger from the power supply
network and remove the connector from
the car frame and then the connector from
the battery, in this order.
Connection:
• Class II device.
• This machine is fuse-protected.
Maintenance:
• If the power supply cable is damaged,
it must only be replaced by a cable
specied or supplied by the manufacturer
or its after-sales service.
• Service should be performed by a
qualied person.
• Warning! Always remove the power plug

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The chargers TCB 60, TCB 90 and TCB 120 are designed to charge lead acid batteries with liquid or gel electrolyte, nominal voltage
from 12V, and with capacity according to the following table:

OPERATING MODE WITH TESTER FUNCTION
When it is not connected to the mains supply, this charger is a battery tester. It lets you know the state of the battery. The integrated
voltmeter informs you by three LEDs:
• red : <12.3V : battery to be charged
• orange : between 12.3 and 12.6V : middle charge
• green : >12.6V : charged
CONNECTION IN CHARGER FUNCTION
Preliminary precautions
• For indoor use, with good ventilation.
• Remove the battery caps if there is, and check the level of liquid. If it is not correct, lled up with distilled water. Clean well the
battery terminals.
• Check if the battery capacity and voltage are compatible with your charger.
Connection and disconnection
• Connect the clamps (+ red, - black) to + and - battery terminals, making sure you get a good electric contact, respecting the
following order.
◦ Connect rst the battery terminal not connected to the chassis of the vehicle.
◦ Then connect the other connection to the chassis remote from the battery and any fuel line (to limit the risk of ignition of
petrol vapor at the appearance of an electric arc can result from accidental disconnection in charge of the clamp).
◦Select the charge speed with the front switch
◦At last, plug in your charger to 230 V 50/60 Hz mains supply.
• After charging, disconnected the battery charger from supply mains. Then remove the chassis connection and the battery
connection, in this order.

Depending on the capacity of the battery of the vehicle, select the current position:

Charge process
• The green light «POWER» above the fuse indicates AC power connection.
• The orange light indicates that the charge is in progress.
• The green LED lights when the charge is nished.
• If the green LED is not lighting after quite a long time, check the front fuse after switching o your product. If it still does not
work, please check the battery by a professional.
• This product can charge automatically one battery with its rated loading current, and then continue with a moderate speed
to nish the loading 100%. With that function « oating », you can leave the battery connected to your product unlimitedly
without any risk.
• The charger detects a battery with a voltage above 4 V.

PROTECTIONS
Your product has been developed with a maximum of protections.
• The clamps of the battery charger are isolated, and there is no voltage on the clamp as long as the battery is not connected.
• The polarity reversal will not cause danger. In case of polarity error a buzzer sounds.
• Your charger is protected against over current that can occur with faulty batteries or false use of the product by the front fuse.
• Thermal protection: the transformer of the product is protected by a thermal switch (cooling: about ¼ h).
SULPHATED BATTERIES - START
• If your battery is sulfated, the green LED of your charger will light very quickly, as if the battery was charged. Change your
battery.
• Do not leave your charger plugged on your car when you start it. It can break the fuse.
Do not use your charger like an auxiliary power supply. It is forbidden to pull up current from the battery when the battery is
connected to the charger.
TROUBLESHOOTING

The fuse blows every time it is

WARRANTY
The warranty covers faulty workmanship for 2 years from the date of purchase (parts and labour).
The warranty does not cover:
• Transit damage.
• Normal wear of parts (eg. : cables, clamps, etc..).
• Damages due to misuse (power supply error, dropping of equipment, disassembling).
• Environment related failures (pollution, rust, dust).
In case of failure, return the unit to your distributor together with:
- The proof of purchase (receipt etc ...)
- A description of the fault reported

• Tragen Sie eine Schutzbrille und
Handschuhe.
• Bei Kontakt der Batteriesäure mit den
Augen oder der Haut gründlich mit
Wasser nachspülen und sofort einen Arzt
aufsuchen.
Verbinden/Trennen:
• Trennen Sie das Gerät vom Spannungsnetz
bevor Sie Kabel und Zangen anschließen
oder trennen.
• Versichern Sie sich immer, dass die
rote Klemme zuerst mit dem «+» Pol
der Batterie verbunden wird. Falls es
nötig ist die schwarze Klemme mit
der Fahrzeugkarosserie zu verbinden,
versichern Sie sich, dass es einen
Sicherheitsabstand von der Batterie
zum Benzintank/Aufspuff gibt. Achten
Sie während der Ladung auf einen frei
zugänglichen Netzanschluss.
• Beachten Sie am Ende des Ladevorgangs
folgendes: Trennen Sie erst das Gerät vom
Stromnetz und entfernen Sie dann erst die
Klemmen von der Batterie.
Anschluss:
• Klasse II-Gerät
• Dieses Gerät ist mit einer Schutzsicherung
ausgestattet.
Wartung:
• Ist das Netzkabel defekt/beschädigt, lassen
Sie es unverzüglich von dem Hersteller
bzw. dem Kundenservice austauschen.
• Die Wartung und Reparatur darf nur von
entsprechend geschultem und qualiziertem
Fachpersonal durchgeführt werden.

• Achtung! Alle Kontrollarbeiten oder
Wartungen dürfen nur duchgeführt
werden, wenn das Gerät ausgeschaltet
und die Stromversorgung unterbrochen ist.
• Ist die interne Sicherung geschmolzen,
dann muss diese entweder vom Hersteller,
seinem Kundendienst oder einer ähnlich
qualizierten Person getauscht werden,
um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
• Öffnen Sie regelmäßig das Gehäuse
und entfernen Sie Staub und andere
Ablagerungen. Beachten Sie hierbei die
geltenden Sicherheitsvorschriften.
• Benutzen Sie niemals Lösungsmittel oder
anderen aggressiven Reinigungsprodukte.
• Reinigen Sie die Oberäche des Gerätes
mithilfe eines trockenen Lappen.

Entsorgung:
• Produkt für selektives Einsammeln
(Sondermüll). Werfen Sie es daher nicht
in den Hausmüll!
• Für die Entsorgung Ihres Gerätes gelten
besondere Bestimmungen (Sondermüll).
• Recyclingprodukt, der durch Mülltrennung
entsorgt werden muss (gemäß Dekret
n°2014-1577).
GERÄTEBESCHREIBUNG
Die Ladegeräte TCB 60, TCB 90 und TCB 120 sind für die Ladung von Bleibatterien mit üssigem- oder Gel- Elektrolyt
und einer Nennspannung von 12V bestimmt. Die Kapazitäten sind nach der folgenden Tabelle angegeben.

ANWENDUNGSBEREICH MIT TESTFUNKTION
Falls dieses Ladegerät nicht mit der Netzversorgung verbunden ist, kann diese Einheit als Batterie-Testgerät genutzt
werden. Drei LED (Leucht-Dioden) geben Auskunft über den Zustand der Batterie:
• rot : <12.3V : entladen
• orange : von 12.3 bis12.6V : mittlere Kapazität
• grün : >12.6V : voll aufgeladen
ANSCHLUSS BEI LADEFUNKTION
Vorrangige Vorsichtsmaßnahmen
• Nur im Innenraum und bei guter Belüftung anwenden.
• Falls vorhanden entfernen Sie die Batteriezellendeckel und prüfen sie den Flüssigkeitsstand. Falls nötig mit
destilliertem Wasser auüllen. Reinigen sie die Batteriepole.
• Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Batteriespannung und -Kapazität mit den Eigenschaften des Ladegerätes
übereinstimmen.
Anschluss und Trennung
• Verbinden Sie die Anschlussklemmen (+ rot, - schwarz) mit dem Plus- (+) und dem Minuspol (-) der Batterie,
unter Beachtung der folgenden Vorgehensweise:
◦ Verbinden Sie zuerst die Anschlussklemme, die nicht mit dem PKW-Gehäuse verbunden ist.
◦ Verbinden Sie dann die andere Anschlussklemme mit dem PKW-Gehäuse, weit entfernt von der Batterie oder
einer Brennstoeitung (das Risiko der Entzündung von Benzindampf bei Auftreten eines Lichtbogens zu begren-
zen, kann von versehentliche Trennung verantwortliche der Klemme führen).
◦ Stellen Sie mit dem Frontschalter die Ladegeschwindigkeit (Ladestrom) ein.
◦ Zum Schluss verbinden Sie das Ladegerät mit dem 230V-Netz.
• Nach der Ladung trennen Sie erst das Ladegerät vom Netz. Dann trennen Sie die Anschlussklemme vom PKW
Gehäuse und anschließend die Batterie Anschlussklemme.

Ladeprozess
• Die grüne Led «POWER» oberhalb der Sicherung (Fuse) ziegt den Netzanschluss an.
• Die orange LED zeigt an, dass der Ladevorgang läuft.
• Die grüne LED zeigt an, dass der Ladevorgang abgeschlossen ist.
• Wenn die grüne LED nach einer langen Zeit nicht leuchtet, schalten Sie das Gerät aus (Netzstecker ziehen) und
überprüfen Sie die Sicherung. Sollte es anschließend noch immer nicht richtig arbeiten, lassen Sie die Batterie von
einem Fachmann überprüfen.
• Dieses Produkt lädt eine Batterie automatisch mit dem eingestellten Ladestrom und beendet anschließend den
Ladevorgang mit angemessener Geschwindigkeit auf 100%. Mit dieser Funktion « oating » kann die Batterie
ohne Risiko unbegrenzt angeschlossen bleiben. Das Ladegerät erkennt eine Batterie, deren Spannung größer ist
als 4 V.
SCHUTZFUNKTIONEN
Ihr Produkt wurde mit einer Vielzahl an Schutzfunktionen ausgelegt:
• Die Batterie-Anschlussklemmen sind isoliert aufgebaut. Solange die Batterie nicht mit dem Ladegerät verbunden ist,
liegt keine Spannung an den Klemmen an.
• Eine Verpolung verursacht keine Gefahr. Im Fehlerfall ertönt ein Warnsignal.
• Die Sicherung schützt vor Überstrom auf Grund von schlechten Batterien oder falscher Anwendung des Produktes.
• Überhitzungsschutz: Der Transformator dieses Produktes besitzt einen Thermoschalter (Abkühlphase: ca. ¼
Stunde).
SULFATIERTE BATTERIEN - START
• Falls Ihre Batterie sulfatiert ist, zeigt das Ladegerät sofort an, dass die Batterie voll geladen ist (grüne LED leuch-
tet). Wechseln Sie die Batterie.
• Wenn Sie den Motor starten darf die Batterie nicht mehr am Ladegerät angeschlossen sein. Dies kann die Siche-
rung auslösen.
• Die Verwendung des Ladegerätes als Stromversorgung ist nicht zulässig.
