Notes on use
•When aselection among menu items is to
be made (such as Yor N), the one currently
selected ashes.
•Inmenus offering avariety of different
options (such as DRC, language and so
on), the currently selected option is marked
with *.
Navigation and controls
[NAVIGATE/ENTER/VOLUME] (7) has two different
functions:
•Turn [NAVIGATE/ENTER/VOLUME] (7) to select
among menu items.
•Conrm the selection by pressing [NAVIGATE/
ENTER/VOLUME] (7).
Press [Back/Info] (6) to return to the previous
menu level.
Volume adjustment
Turn [NAVIGATE/ENTER/VOLUME] (7) to increase/
reduce the volume.

Setting up anetwork connection
WLAN (wireless network)
•Ensurethat the router is switched on, is
functioning correctly and that thereisa
connection to the internet.
•Activate the WLAN function of your router.
•Follow your router‘s operating instructions as
regards the correct functioning of the WLAN
connection.
•Then proceed directly as described under
section 6‚Getting started‘.
6. Getting started
6.1 Switching the device on
•Connect the device to aproperly installed
socket.
Warning
•Only connect the product to asocket that
has been approved for the device. The
electrical socket must always be easily
accessible.
•Disconnect the product from the mains
using the on/off switch –ifthis is not
available, unplug the product from the
socket.
•Wait until the radio initialisation procedurehas
nished.
The station search in the operating mode DAB
starts up automatically when the radio is turned
on for the rst time.
By default, the radio starts with the English menu
navigation. Set up your desired language as
described in 6.2 Language.
6.2 Language
At initial startup, the language of the radio
defaults to English. To change the language,
please proceed as follows:
•Press and hold [Mode/Settings](5) for about
3seconds to access the settings menu.
•Turn [VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE]to
navigate to the ‘System’ menu item.
•Conrm the selection by pressing [VOLUME/
ENTER/NAVIGATE].
•Turn [VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE]toget
to the ‘Language’ menu item. Conrm the
selection by pressing [VOLUME/ENTER/
NAVIGATE].
•Turn [VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE]toselect
your desired system language.
•Conrm the selection by pressing [VOLUME/
ENTER/NAVIGATE].
Note
•You can choose from the following
languages:
English, German, Danish, Dutch, Finnish,
French, Italian, Norwegian, Polish,
Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish,Turkish.
7. Care and Maintenance
•Only clean this product with aslightly damp,
lint-free cloth and do not use aggressive

turn off the device and disconnect it from the

Bedienungshinweise
•Ineiner Auswahl von verschiedenen
Schaltächen (z.B. Ja oder Nein)ist
die ausgewählte Schaltäche mit <>
gekennzeichnet.
•InMenüs, die eine Auswahl aus
verschiedenen Optionen bieten (z.B. DRC,
Sprache etc.), wirddie aktuell ausgewählte
Option mit *gekennzeichnet.
Navigation und Steuerung
[NAVIGATE/ENTER/VOLUME] (7) hat eine duale
Funktionsbelegung:
•Durch Drehen von [NAVIGATE/ENTER/VOLUME]
(7) im Menü wählen Sie einzelne Menüpunkte
aus.
•Durch Drücken von [NAVIGATE/ENTER/
VOLUME] (7) bestätigen Sie die Auswahl.
Drücken Sie [Back/Info] (6), um auf die vorherige
Menüebene zurückzukehren.
Lautstärke anpassen
Durch Drehen von [NAVIGATE/ENTER/VOLUME]
(7) erhöhen/reduzieren Sie die Lautstärke.

Netzwerkverbindung einrichten
WLAN (kabelloses Netzwerk)
•Stellen Sie sicher,dass der Router eingeschaltet
ist, korrekt funktioniert und Verbindung zum
Internet besteht.
•Aktivieren Sie die WLAN Funktion ihres Routers.
•Beachten Sie bezüglich einer korrekten
Funktion der WLAN-Verbindung die
Bedienungsanleitung ihres Routers.
•Gehen Sie dann wie unter Pkt. 6
„Inbetriebnahme“ beschrieben weiter vor.
6. Inbetriebnahme
6.1 Einschalten
•Verbinden Sie das Gerät mit einer
ordnungsgemäß installierten Steckdose.
Warnung
•Betreiben Sie das Produkt nur an einer
dafür zugelassenen Steckdose. Die
Netzsteckdose muss jederzeit leicht
erreichbar sein.
•Trennen Sie das Produkt mittels des Ein-/
Ausschalters vom Netz –wenn dieser nicht
vorhanden ist, ziehen Sie das Produkt aus
der Steckdose.
•Warten Sie, bis die Initialisierung des Radios
abgeschlossen ist.
Hinweis –beim ersten Einschalten
•Beim ersten Start wirdautomatisch der
Einrichtungsassistent (Setup Wizard)
gestartet.
•Der Einrichtungsassistent wirdinenglischer
Sprache ausgeführt.
•Sie können den Assistenten überspringen
und später erneut aufrufen.
6.2 Sprache
Bei Erstinbetriebnahme ist als Standardsprache
des Radios Englisch eingestellt. Gehen Sie wie
folgt vor,umdie Sprache anzupassen:
•Drücken und halten Sie [Mode/Settings]
(5) für ca. 3Sekunden, um in das
Einstellungsmenü zu gelangen.
•Navigieren Sie durch Drehen von [VOLUME/
ENTER/NAVIGATE]zum Menüpunkt „System“.
•Bestätigen Sie die Auswahl durch Drücken von
[VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE].
•Durch Drehen von [VOLUME/ENTER/
NAVIGATE]gelangen Sie zum Eintrag

WiFi (réseau sans fil)
•Veuillez contrôler que le routeur est bien sous
tension, qu‘il fonctionne normalement et que la
connexion internet est bien établie.
•Activez la fonction WiFi de votrerouteur.
•Veuillez consulter le mode d‘emploi de votre
routeur pour toute question concernant la
connexion WiFi (réseau sans l).
•Continuez àl‘étape 6«Mise en service ».
6. Mise en service
6.1 Mise sous tension
•Branchez l’appareil àune prise de courant.
Avertissement
•Utilisez l‘appareil exclusivement branché à
une prise de courant appropriée. La prise
de courant doit êtrefacilement accessible à
tout moment.
•Mettez le produit hors tension àl’aide de
l’interrupteur On/Off -débranchez la prise
de courant en cas d'absence d'interrupteur.
•Veuillez patienter jusqu’à la ndelaprocédure
d‘initialisation de la radio.
Premièremise sous tension
•Unassistant de conguration (Setup
Wizard) démarreautomatiquement lors du
premier démarrage.
•L‘assistant de conguration est en anglais.
•Vous pouvez passer l‘assistant, puis le
lancer ultérieurement.
6.2 Langue
L’anglais est la langue par défaut lors de la
premièremise en service. Procédez comme suit
andesélectionner une autrelangue :
•Maintenez la touche [Mode/Settings](5)
enfoncée pendant env.3secondes pour ouvrir
le menu de réglage.
•Tournez le bouton [VOLUME/ENTER/
NAVIGATE]andesélectionner l’option
“System”.
•Conrmez votresélection en appuyant sur le
bouton [VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE].
•Tournez le bouton [VOLUME/ENTER/
NAVIGATE]and’ouvrir l’option “Language”.

7. Nettoyage et entretien

•Débranchez l‘adaptateur CA de la source

l‘appareil pendant un certain temps.

Congurar la conexión de red
WLAN (red inalámbrica)
•Asegúrese de que el router está encendido,
que funciona correctamente ydeque hay
establecida una conexión aInternet.
•Active la función NFC de su router.
•Enloreferente al correcto funcionamiento de la
conexión WLAN, observe las instrucciones de
manejo de su router.
•Continúe entonces directamente según
se indica en el punto 6.«Puesta en
funcionamiento».
6. Puesta en funcionamiento
6.1 Encender
•Conecte el dispositivo auna toma de corriente
correctamente instalada.
Aviso
•Utilice el producto sólo conectado auna
toma de corriente autorizada. La toma de
corriente debe estar fácilmente accesible en
todo momento.
•Desconecte el producto de la redmediante
el interruptor on/off; de no haberlo,
desenchufe el producto de la toma de
corriente.
•Espereaque haya concluido la inicialización
de la radio.
Nota –Alencender por primeravez
•Cuando se enciende por primeravez, se
inicia automáticamente el asistente de
conguración (Setup Wizard).
•Elasistente de conguración se ejecuta en
el idioma inglés.
•Puede saltarse el asistente yabrirlo
posteriormente.
6.2 Idioma
En la primerapuesta en funcionamiento se ajusta
el inglés como idioma estándar de la radio.
Proceda de la siguiente forma paraajustar el
idioma:
•Pulse ymantenga pulsadas [Mode/Settings]
(5) durante aprox. 3segundos paraacceder al
menú de conguración.
•Girando [VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE],
navegue hasta el punto de menú «System».
•Conrme la selección pulsando [VOLUME/
ENTER/NAVIGATE].
•Girando [VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE],
accederá al punto «Language». Conrme
