4. General notes on use
4.1 Switch On /Off /Standby
•Press [+/OK/-](10) to switch on the radio.
•Press and hold [+/OK/-](10) for about 3seconds to
•switch off the radio (standby).
•To completely switch off the device, disconnect it from the
power supply.
4.2 Navigation and control
•After pressing ashortcut button, navigate through the
menu items.
•Select among menu items by turning [+/OK/-](10).
•Conrm the selection by pressing [+/OK/-](10).
4.3 Volume adjustment
•Youcan turn the volume up (right) or down (left)
by turning [+/OK/-](10) accordingly.
5. Getting started
Note –Optimising reception
Please note:
•Always pull the antenna out completely.
•We recommend you adjust the antenna vertically to
ensureoptimal reception.
•Tryvarious different positions if necessary to get the
best reception.
5.1 Switching on
Warning
•Only operate the product from asocket that has been
approved for the device. The socket must be installed
close to the product and must be easily accessible.
•Disconnect the product from the power supply using the
On/Off switch –ifthis is not available, unplug the power
cordfromthe socket.

•If using amulti-socket power strip, make surethat the
total power consumption of all connected devices does
not exceed the power strip’smaximum throughput
rating.
•If you will not be using the product for aprolonged
period, disconnect it from mains power.
•Connect the power supply to the mains connection (1) on
the back of the radio.
•Connect the network cable to aproperly installed and
easily accessible network socket.
•Wait until the radio has initialised fully.
•Press the [+/OK/-]button (10) to switch the radio on.
Initial setup
When you switch the radio on for the rst time, the station
search is started automatically in DABoperating mode.
English is the default language for the radio’s menu
structure.
Set up your desired language as described in
5.2 Language.
5.2 Language
At initial startup, the language of the radio defaults to
English. To change the menu language of the radio,
proceed as follows:
•Press [ ](6) to access the settings menu.
•Use the navigation buttons (10) to navigate to the
‘Settings’ menu item.
•Use [+/OK/-](10) to navigate to the ‘System’ menu item.
•onrm your selection by pressing [+/OK/-](10).
•Use [+/OK/-](10) to navigate to the ‘Language’ menu
item. Conrm your selection by pressing [+/OK/-](10).
•Use the [+/OK/-](10) -button to select your desired
system language.
•The language setting currently selected is marked with an
asterisk (*).

6. Care and Maintenance
•Only clean this product with aslightly damp, lint-free

4. Allgemeine Hinweise zur Bedienung
4.1 Ein- /Ausschalten /Standby
•Drücken Sie [+/OK/-](10), um das Radio einzuschalten.
•Drücken Sie [+/OK/-](10) ca. 3Sek. lang, um das
Radio auszuschalten (Standby).
•Trennen Sie das Gerät von der Stromversorgung, um es
vollständig auszuschalten.
4.2 Navigation und Steuerung
•Navigieren Sie nach Druck auf eine Kurzwahltaste durch
die angebotenen Menüpunkte.
•Durch Drehen von [+/OK/-](10) wählen Sie einzelne
Menüpunkte aus.
•Durch Drücken von [+/OK/-](10) bestätigen Sie die
Auswahl.
4.3 Lautstärke anpassen
•Durch Drehen von [+/OK/-](10) wirddie Lautstärke
erhöht (rechts) oder reduziert (links).
5. Inbetriebnahme
Hinweis –Empfang optimieren
Beachten Sie:
•Ziehen Sie die Antenne immer vollständig aus.
•Für einen optimalen Empfang empfehlen wir die
Antenne vertikal auszurichten.
•Gegebenenfalls sollten Sie verschiedene Standorte
testen, um den bestmöglichen Empfang zu erreichen.
5.1 Einschalten
Warnung
•BetreibenSie dasProdukt nur an einer dafürzugelassenen
Steckdose.Die Steckdosemuss in derNähe des Produktes
angebrachtund leichtzugänglichsein.
•Trennen Sie das Produkt mittels des Ein-/Ausschalters vom
Netz –wenndieser nicht vorhandenist,ziehenSie die
Netzleitungaus der Steckdose.

•Achten Siebei Mehrfachsteckdosen darauf,dass
dieangeschlossenen Verbraucherdie zulässige
Gesamtleistungsaufnahme nichtüberschreiten.
•Trennen Sie das Produkt vomNetz, wennSie es längere
Zeitnicht benutzen.
•Schließen Sie das Netzteil an der Netzzuleitung (13) auf
der Rückseite des Radioweckers an.
•Verbinden Sie das Netzkabel mit einer ordnungsgemäß
installierten und leicht zugänglichen Netzsteckdose.
•Warten Sie, bis die Initialisierung des Radios
abgeschlossen ist.
•Drücken Sie die [+/OK/-](10), um das Radio
einzuschalten.
Ersteinrichtung
Beim ersten Start wirdautomatisch der Sendersuchlauf
im Betriebsmodus DABgestartet. Standardmäßig startet
das Radio mit englischer Menüführung.
Die gewünschte Sprache können Sie wie in 5.2 Sprache
beschrieben einstellen.
5.2 Sprache
Bei Erstinbetriebnahme ist als Standardsprache des Radios
Englisch eingestellt. Um die eingestellte Menüsprache des
Radios zu ändern, gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
•Drücken Sie [ ](6), um in das Einstellungsmenü zu
gelangen.
•Navigieren Sie mit Hilfe von [+/OK/-](10) zum
Menüpunkt „Settings“.
•Bestätigen Sie die Auswahl durch Drücken von [+/OK/-]
(10).
•Navigieren Sie mit Hilfe von [+/OK/-](10) zum
Menüpunkt „Language“. Bestätigen Sie die Auswahl
durch Drücken von [+/OK/-](10).
•Wählen Sie mit Hilfe von [+/OK/-](10) Ihregewünschte
Systemsprache aus.
•Die aktuell gewählte Spracheinstellung wirdmit *
gekennzeichnet.

4. Remarques générales concernant la commande
4.1 Mise sous/hors tension/Veille
•Appuyez sur la touche [+/OK/-](10) pour mettrelaradio
sous tension.
•Appuyez sur la touche [+/OK/-](10) pendant env.3sec.
pour mettrelaradio hors tension (veille).
•Coupez l’alimentation de l’appareil pour l’éteindre
complètement.
4.2 Navigation et commande
•Après avoir appuyé sur une touche rapide, naviguez dans
les entrées de menu proposées.
•En faisant pivoter [+/OK/-](10), vous sélectionnerez les
entrées du menu.
•En appuyant sur [+/OK/-](10), vous
conrmerez votresélection.
4.3 Réglage du volume
•Tournez le bouton [+/OK/-](10) pour augmenter (droite)
ou réduire(gauche) le volume.
5. Mise en service
Remarque –Optimisation de la réception
Veuillez noter :
•Déployez l’antenne entièrement.
•Nous vous recommandons de placer l’antenne àla
verticale andegarantir une réception optimale.
•Le cas échéant, testez différents endroits and’obtenir
la meilleureréception possible.
5.1 Mise sous tension
Avertissement
•Branchez l’appareil uniquement àune prise de courant
appropriée. La prise de courant doit êtresituée à
proximité de l’appareil et doit êtrefacilement accessible.
•Coupez l’appareil du secteur àl’aide de l’interrupteur
-débranchez la prise de courant en cas d’absence
d’interrupteur.

•En cas de prises multiples, veillez àceque les appareils
consommateurs branchés ne dépassent pas la puissance
absorbée totale admissible.
•Débranchez l’appareil si vous ne l’utilisez pas sur une
période prolongée.
•Branchez le bloc secteur au cordon d’alimentation (13) au
dos du radio-réveil.
•Branchez le cordon d’alimentation àune prise de courant
conformément installée et facile d’accès.
•Attendez que l’initialisation de la radio soit terminée.
•Appuyez sur la touche [+/OK/-](10) pour mettrelaradio
sous tension.
Première configuration
Lors du premier démarrage, la recherche de stations
est automatiquement lancée en mode DAB. La langue de
gestion du menu par défaut de la radio est l’anglais.

5.2 Langue
L’anglais est la langue par défaut lors de la premièremise
en service. Procédez comme suit pour modier la langue
réglée pour le menu de la radio :
•Appuyez sur la touche [ ](6) and‘ouvrir le menu de
réglage.
•Naviguez vers l’entrée de menu «Settings »àl’aide de la
touche [+/OK/-](10).
•Conrmez votresélection en appuyant sur [+/OK/-](10).
•Naviguez vers l’entrée de menu «Language »àl’aide
delatouche [+/OK/-](10). Conrmez votresélection en
appuyant sur [+/OK/-](10).
•Sélectionnez la langue de système souhaitée àl’aide des
touches [+/OK/-](10).
•La langue sélectionnée apparaît avec un astérisque (*).

6. Nettoyage et entretien

4. Notas generales sobre el manejo
4.1. Encendido, apagado ystandby
•Pulse la tecla [+/OK/-](10) paraencender la radio.
•Pulse [+/OK/-](10) durante unos 3segundos para
apagar la radio (en espera).
•Desconecte el aparato de la alimentación de corriente
paraapagarlo totalmente.
4.2 Navegación ycontrol
•Tras pulsar una tecla de marcación abreviada, navegue
por las opciones de menú que se ofrecen.
•Girando [+/OK/-](10) puede seleccionar opciones
individuales del menú.
•Durch Drücken von [+/OK/-](10) bestätigen Sie die
Auswahl.
4.3 Regular el volumen
•Girando [+/OK/-](10) se aumenta (a la derecha) o
disminuye (a la izquierda) el volumen.
5. Puesta en funcionamiento
Nota –Optimizar la recepción

5.1 Encendido

colocada cerca del producto; asimismo, debe ser
fácilmente accesible.
•Desconecte el producto de la redeléctrica mediante el
interruptor de encendido yapagado (de no existir este,
desenchufe el cable de alimentación de la toma de
corriente).

•Si dispone de tomas de corriente múltiples, asegúrese de
que los aparatos eléctricos conectados no sobrepasen el
consumo total de potencia admisible.
•Desconecte el producto de la redsinova autilizarlo

alimentación (13) situado en el lado posterior del
radiodespertador.
•Conecte el cable de corriente con una toma de corriente

Configuración inicial
La primeravez que se enciende, la búsqueda de emisora
se inicia automáticamente en el modo operativo DAB. La
radio se inicia por defecto con la guía de menús en inglés.
El idioma deseado puede ajustarse como se describe en el
apartado 5.2 Idioma.
5.2 Idioma
En la primerapuesta en funcionamiento se ajusta el inglés
como idioma estándar de la radio. Para cambiar el idioma
del menú de la radio ajustado, proceda del siguiente modo:
•Pulse [ ](6) paraacceder al menú de conguración.
•Utilice[+/OK/-](10) paranavegar hasta el elemento de
menú «Settings».
•Conrme la selección pulsando [+/OK/-](10).

menú «Idioma». Conrme la selección pulsando [+/OK/-]

Первичная настройка
При первом включении автоматически запускается
поиск радиостанций врежиме DAB. По умолчанию
при включении радио отображается меню на
английском языке.

radio (standby).
•Perspegnerecompletamente la radio, disconnetterla
dalla presa elettrica.
4.2 Navigazione ecomando
•Dopo aver premuto un tasto di scelta rapida, navigare
attraverso le voci di menu proposte.
•Selezionaresingole voci di menu ruotando
[+/OK/-](10).
•Confermarelaselezione premendo
[+/OK/-](10).
4.3 Regolareilvolume
•Ruotando [+/OK/-](10) si aumenta
(a sinistra) osiriduce (a destra) il volume.

Nota -Ottimizzarelaricezione
Si prega di notare:
•Estrarresemprecompletamente l’antenna.
•Peruna ricezione ottimale, consigliamo di orientare
l’antenna in senso verticale.
•Se necessario, collocarelaradio in postazioni diverse
no aottenerelaricezione migliore.
5.1 Accendere
Attenzione
•Utilizzareilprodotto collegandolo ad una presa elettrica
conforme. La presa elettrica deve trovarsi nelle vicinanze
del prodotto ed esserefacilmente accessibile.
•Scollegareilprodotto dalla rete elettrica tramite
il pulsante di accensione/spegnimento. Se non è
disponibile, disconnettereilcavo di alimentazione dalla
presa elettrica.
