Navigation and controls
[NAVIGATE/ENTER/VOLUME] (7) has two different
functions:
•Turn [NAVIGATE/ENTER/VOLUME] (7) to select among
menu items.
•Conrm the selection by pressing [NAVIGATE/ENTER/
VOLUME] (7).
Press [Back/Info] (6) to return to the previous menu level.
Volume adjustment
Turn [NAVIGATE/ENTER/VOLUME] (7) to increase/reduce
the volume.
6. Getting started
Note –Optimal reception
•For best reception, ensurethat the antenna is fully
extended.
•Try various different positions if necessary to get the
best reception.
6.1 Switching the device on
•Connect the device to aproperly installed socket.
Warning
•Only connect the product to asocket that has been
approved for the device. The electrical socket must
always be easily accessible.
•Disconnect the product from the mains using the
on/off switch –ifthis is not available, unplug the
product from the socket.
•Wait until the radio initialisation procedurehas
nished.
The station search in the operating mode DABstarts
up automatically when the radio is turned on for the
rst time.
By default, the radio starts with the English menu
navigation. Set up your desired language as described in
6.2 Language.
6.2 Language
At initial startup, the language of the radio defaults to
English. To change the language, please proceed as
follows:
•Press and hold [Mode/Settings](5) for about 3
seconds to access the settings menu.
•Turn [VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE]tonavigate to the
‘System’ menu item.
•Conrm the selection by pressing [VOLUME/ENTER/
NAVIGATE].
•Turn [VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE]toget to the
‘Language’ menu item. Conrm the selection by
pressing [VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE].
•Turn [VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE]toselect your
desired system language.
•Conrm the selection by pressing [VOLUME/ENTER/
NAVIGATE].

•You can choose from the following languages:
English, German, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French,
Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish,

Navigation und Steuerung
[NAVIGATE/ENTER/VOLUME] (7) hat eine duale
Funktionsbelegung:
•Durch Drehen von [NAVIGATE/ENTER/VOLUME] (7) im
Menü wählen Sie einzelne Menüpunkte aus.
•Durch Drücken von [NAVIGATE/ENTER/VOLUME] (7)
bestätigen Sie die Auswahl.
Drücken Sie [Back/Info] (6), um auf die vorherige
Menüebene zurückzukehren.
Lautstärke anpassen
Durch Drehen von [NAVIGATE/ENTER/VOLUME] (7)
erhöhen/reduzieren Sie die Lautstärke.
6. Inbetriebnahme
Hinweis –Empfang optimieren
•Umdie optimale Empfangsleistung zu ermöglichen,
beachten Sie bitte, dass die Antenne vollständig
ausgelegt werden sollte.
•Gegebenenfalls sollten Sie verschiedene Standorte
testen, um den bestmöglichen Empfang zu
er-reichen.
6.1 Einschalten
•Verbinden Sie das Gerät mit einer ordnungsgemäß
installierten Steckdose.
Warnung
•Betreiben Sie das Produkt nur an einer dafür
zugelassenen Steckdose. Die Netzsteckdose muss
jederzeit leicht erreichbar sein.
•Trennen Sie das Produkt mittels des Ein-/
Ausschalters vom Netz –wenn dieser nicht
vorhanden ist, ziehen Sie das Produkt aus der
Steckdose.
•Warten Sie, bis die Initialisierung des Radios
abgeschlossen ist.
Beim ersten Start wirdautomatisch der Sendersuchlauf
im Betriebsmodus DABgestartet. Standardmäßig startet
das Radio mit englischer Menüführung.
Die gewünschte Sprache können Sie wie in 6.2 Sprache
beschrieben einstellen.
6.2 Sprache
Bei Erstinbetriebnahme ist als Standardsprache des
Radios Englisch eingestellt. Gehen Sie wie folgt vor,um
die Sprache anzupassen:
•Drücken und halten Sie [Mode/Settings](5) für ca. 3
Sekunden, um in das Einstellungsmenü zu gelangen.
•Navigieren Sie durch Drehen von [VOLUME/ENTER/
NAVIGATE]zum Menüpunkt „System“.
•Bestätigen Sie die Auswahl durch Drücken von
[VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE].
•Durch Drehen von [VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE]
gelangen Sie zum Eintrag „Language“. Bestätigen Sie

Navigation et commande
Le bouton [NAVIGATE/ENTER/VOLUME] (7) dispose d’une
double fonction :
•Vous pouvez sélectionner une option du menu en
tournant le bouton [NAVIGATE/ENTER/VOLUME] (7).
•Conrmez votresélection en appuyant sur le bouton
[NAVIGATE/ENTER/VOLUME] (7).
•Appuyez sur la touche [Back/Info] (6) anderetourner
au menu précédent.
Réglage du volume
Tournez le bouton [NAVIGATE/ENTER/VOLUME] (7) pour
augmenter /diminuer le volume.
6. Mise en service
Remarque –Optimiser la réception
•Ceproduit dispose d’une connexion d’antenne
permettant l’utilisation d’une antenne active ou
passive. La connexion s’effectue via un connecteur
Fcoaxial.
•Lecas échéant, testez différents endroits an
d’obtenir la meilleureréception possible
6.1 Mise sous tension
•Branchez l’appareil àune prise de courant.
Avertissement
•Utilisez l‘appareil exclusivement branché àune prise
de courant appropriée. La prise de courant doit être
facilement accessible àtout moment.
•Mettez le produit hors tension àl’aide de
l’interrupteur On/Off -débranchez la prise de
courant en cas d‘absence d‘interrupteur.
•Veuillez patienter jusqu’à la ndelaprocédure
d‘initialisation de la radio.
Lors du premier démarrage, une recherche de stations
démarreautomatiquement dans le mode DAB. La langue
de menu par défaut de la radio est l’anglais.
Réglez la langue de votrechoix comme décrit au chapitre
6.2 Langue.
6.2 Langue
L’anglais est la langue par défaut lors de la premièremise
en service. Procédez comme suit andesélectionner une
autrelangue :
•Maintenez la touche [Mode/Settings](5) enfoncée
pendant env.3secondes pour ouvrir le menu de
réglage.
•Tournez le bouton [VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE]an
de sélectionner l’option “System”.
•Conrmez votresélection en appuyant sur le bouton
[VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE].
•Tournez le bouton [VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE]an
d’ouvrir l’option “Language”. Conrmez votresélection
en appuyant sur le bouton [VOLUME/ENTER/
NAVIGATE].
•Sélectionnez la langue désirée en tournant le bouton
[VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE].
•Conrmez votresélection en appuyant sur le bouton
[VOLUME/ENTER/NAVIGATE].

7. Nettoyage et entretien
•Nettoyez ce produit uniquement àl’aide d’un chiffon
non pelucheux légèrement humide ;évitez tout

•Débranchez l‘adaptateur CA de la source de courant
