EMERGENCY PIN CODE RESET:
If you cannot disarm the system from the remote transmitter, you will be able to disarm
the system by using the Personal Identication Number (PIN).
The HAWK system leaves the factory with no PIN override in its memory. We feel it is
easier for you, the rider, to enter a number which means something to you and can easily
be remembered. You should never need to use the PIN override, but if you do have to use
it then this system just might make life a bit easier!
TO ENTER THE INITIAL PIN
Step 1
Disarm the system.
Step 2
Turn Ignition ON/OFF 5 times and stopping at ON position at the last time. LED light will
illuminate for 4 seconds.
Step 3
When LED Light is illuminated press the button once to enter pin code mode.
You can now enter the pin of your choice; ie say 4 digits - 1234
Ignition on, count LED 1 ash ignition off 1
Ignition on, count LED 2 ash ignition off 2
Ignition on, count LED 3 ash ignition off 3
Ignition on, count LED 4 ash ignition off 4
You will get one chirp, and you will need to conrm the PIN
Ignition on, count LED 1 ash ignition off 1
Ignition on, count LED 2 ash ignition off 2
Ignition on, count LED 3 ash ignition off 3
Ignition on, count LED 4 ash ignition off 4
You will get 2 chirps to conrm the PIN has been entered successfully.
(3 chirps means that rst and second entry of the PIN did not match- try again!
Go to Step 1)
IF YOU GET IT WRONG
Should you get it wrong or distracted at any point in this process, and you want to start the
process again, simply disarm the alarm with the transmitter.
3

DISARMING THE SYSTEM USING THE PIN OVERRIDE
If the system is armed and you cannot disarm it from the transmitter, disarm using the PIN
Override (in this example the PIN is set to 1234)
1. Turn Ignition ON/OFF 5 times and stopping at ON position at the last time after
2 seconds LED light will illuminate for 4 seconds and during this time switch the
ignition OFF . Every pin code must be inputted within 4 seconds period.
DURING THIS 4 SECOND PERIOD
Ignition on, count LED 1 ash ignition off 1
Ignition on, count LED 2 ash ignition off 2
Ignition on, count LED 3 ash ignition off 3
Ignition on, count LED 4 ash ignition off 4
The system will now disarm - 4 chirps will sound, you now have 30 seconds to start the
motorcycle or the HAWK will arm again.
