Einsatz des HEWI Stützklappgriffs
Der EWI Stützklappgriff ist ausgelegt für eine maxi-
male statische Gebrauchslast von 100 kg vertikal und
40 kg horizontal. Belasten Sie den Griff nicht höher! Ein
Überschreiten der maximalen Ge brauchslasten kann zu
dauerhaften Schäden am Stützklappgriff führen. Bei
Verdacht auf eine Überbelastung muss der Griff unbe-
dingt vor Weiter verwendung von dem mit der Wartung
beauftragtem Fachunternehmen untersucht werden. Im
Zweifels fall muss der EWI Sanitär Kundendienst Tel.
[phone] zu Rate gezogen werden.
Verwenden Sie den EWI Stützklappgriff nur für die im
Verwendungszweck beschriebene Anwendung. Bei
einer Zweckentfremdung, z.B. als Turngerät oder
Steighilfe, kann es zu Unfällen mit schwerwiegenden
Verletzungen kommen.
Beim erunterklappen des Griffes dürfen sich keine
Personen (insbesondere Kinder) unter dem Griff aufhal-
ten. Bei Nichtbeachtung dieses inweises kann es zu
Unfällen mit schwerwiegenden Verletzungen kommen.
Auf Grund der Werkstoffauswahl ist der Griff beim
ordnungsgemäßen Gebrauch flexibel. Diese Flexibilität
verringert die Verletzungsgefahr beim Anstoßen. Eine
gewisse vertikale und horizontale Durchbiegung unter
Belastung ist normal. Sollten Sie eine dauerhafte
Verbiegung des unbelasteten Stützklappgriffs feststel-
len, müssen Sie umgehend das Wartungsunternehmen
oder den EWI Sanitär Kundendienst Tel. [phone]-
300 verständigen.
Installation des HEWI Stützklappgriffs
Die einwandfreie und sichere Funktion des EWI
Stützklappgriffes hängt in hohem Maße ab von der
fachgerechten Montage an der Wand. Deshalb darf
diese Montage ausschließlich durch qualifiziertes Fach -
personal (Sanitärinstallateure) durchgeführt werden.
Eine nicht fachgerecht durchgeführte Installation kann
zu schwerwiegenden Funktions beeinträchti gungen des
Stützklappgriffs führen. ierdurch kann es zu Unfällen
mit schwerwiegenden Verletzungen kommen. Es ist
daher dringend von einer Selbstmontage des Griffs
abzuraten.
Bei der Montage des EWI Stützklappgriffs durch qua-
lifiziertes Fachpersonal ist darauf zu achten, dass die
Befestigungsfläche im gesamten Bereich der Wand -
platte plan ist (keine vorstehenden Fugen oder Fliesen -
versatz), der Wandaufbau für eine Montage des Griffs
geeignet ist und insbesondere keine Schwach stellen
aufweist. Weiterhin ist auf die Auswahl des passenden
Befestigungsmaterial zu achten, welches die Fa. EWI
für eine Vielzahl von Wand beschaffenheiten anbietet.
Im Zweifelsfall sollte der EWI Sanitär Kundendienst
Tel. [phone] zu Rate gezogen werden. Die
Angaben des Dübelherstellers sind unbedingt zu
beachten.
Nach erfolgter Montage eine Funktionsprüfung durch-
führen!

WARNING!
Use of HEWI support with lift-up feature
The EWI support with lift-up feature is designed to
withstand a maximum static working load of 100 kg (ve
tical) and 40 kg (horizontal), the equivalent of 150 kg
body weight assuming normal use. Do not use this
support for exceeding weights. Any non-compliance
with loading limits can cause permanent damage to the
su port or the joint. In such cases, the support must be
examined by the company appointed to carry out
maintenance work prior to the support being used
again. If indoubt, contact EWI's after-sales service
team (sanitary) on tel. [phone] for further assi-
stance.
Only use the EWI support with lift-up feature as des-
cribed in the instructions. Any improper use, e.g. as a
gymnastic apparatus or climbing aid, can cause an
accident with persons potentially suffering serious
injury.
No persons (particularly children) may be in the area
underneath the support when it is being folded down,
as this can cause an accident with persons potentially
suffering serious injury.
Assuming normal use, the support is of a flexible natu-
re thanks to the materials used in its manufacture. Such
flexibility reduces the risk of injury if anyone bumps into

Installation of HEWI support with lift-up feature
The smooth and safe functioning of the EWI support
with lift-up feature largely depends on its correct fixing

be entrusted to a licensed contractor (sanitary fitter).
Serious impairment to the support's proper functioning
can occur if its installation is not carried out professio-
nally, potentially resulting in accidents with persons
suffering serious injury. This is why we advise you not
to install the support yourself.
When the licensed contractor mounts the EWI sup-
port with lift-up feature, he should ensure that the enti-
re area of the wall to which the wall mounting plate is to
be fitted is flat (no projecting joints or tiles sticking out),
that the structure of the wall is suitable for the installa-
tion of the support and has no weak points.
Furthermore, the choice of the right fixing material kit
for the job is important; EWI offers various types to
suit the nature of the wall concerned. If in doubt, con-
tact EWI's after-sales service team (sanitary) on
tel. [phone] for further assistance. The instruc-
tions accompanying the wall plugs should be observed
in full.

Avvertenze importanti!
Utilizzo dell’impugnatura ribaltabile HEWI
L’impugnatura ribaltabile EWI è in grado di sostenere
un carico statico utile massimo di 100 kg verticalmente
e 40 kg orizzontalmente. L’impugnatura non è in grado
di sostenere portate superiori a quelle indicate. La
mancata osservanza dei carichi utili massimi può
provocare l’insorgere di danni permanenti all’impugna-
tura. In caso di sospetto sovraccarico a danno dell’im-
pugnatura, utilizzarla ancora solo dopo averla fatta
controllare dalla ditta specializzata che si occupa della
manutenzione. In caso di dubbi rivolgersi al servizio
assistenza sanitari EWI Tel. [phone].
Utilizzare l’impugnatura ribaltabile EWI solo per l’ap-
plicazione descritta sotto Usi consentiti. Un utilizzo
diverso da quello previsto, ad es. come attrezzo da gin-
nastica o sussidio per salire o scendere, può provoca-
re incidenti con lesioni gravi.
Quando l’impugnatura viene ribaltata verso il basso
non dovranno esserci persone (e in particolare bambi-
ni) sotto la maniglia stessa. La mancata osservanza di
tale avvertenza può provocare incidenti con lesioni
gravi.
Grazie al materiale utilizzato, l’impugnatura, se usata
correttamente, è flessibile. Tale flessibilità riduce il
pericolo di lesioni in caso di urti. Una certa deformazio-
ne in verticale e in orizzontale, quando l’impugnatura si
trova sotto carico, è normale. Se si dovesse notare una
deformazione permanente dell’impugnatura ribaltabile,
senza che la stessa sia sotto carico, informare subito la
ditta che esegue la manutenzione o il servizio assisten-
za sanitari EWI Tel. [phone].
Installazione del maniglione ribaltabile HEWI
Il buon funzionamento e la sicurezza del maniglione
ribaltabile EWI dipendono in ampia misura dal modo
in cui questo è fissato alla parete. Per questo il
montaggio deve essere effettuato esclusivamente da
personale qualificato (impiantisti o squadre EWI).
Un'installazione eseguita in modo non corretto può
compromettere gravemente la funzionalità del mani-
glione ribaltabile EWI e provocare quindi incidenti
dalle gravi conseguenze. Evitare quindi, nel modo più
assoluto, di montare il maniglione da soli.
Il personale qualificato che effettua il montaggio del
maniglione ribaltabile EWI deve assicurarsi che la
parete in corrispondenza dell'intera piastra di fissaggio
del maniglione sia perfettamente piana (senza giunti o
piastrelle sporgenti), che la struttura della parete sia
adatta per il montaggio del maniglione, ed in particola-
re che non presenti punti deboli. Inoltre, il personale
qualificato dovrà scegliere con accuratezza gli elemen-
ti di fissaggio più adatti tra quelli proposti dalla EWI
per i vari tipi di pareti. In caso di dubbi, rivolgersi per
consulenza al servizio di assistenza clienti EWI
Tel. [phone]. Rispettare tassativamente le
indicazioni del produttore dei tasselli.
Una volta completato il montaggio, eseguire una prova
di funzionamento!

Uso del asidero rebatible de apoyo HEWI
El asidero rebatible de apoyo EWI está concebido
para una carga de uso estática máxima de 100 kg en
posición vertical y 40 kg en posición horizontal. ¡No
sobrecargue el asidero! El sobrepasar la carga de uso
máxima puede llevar a daños permanentes en el asi-
dero rebatible de apoyo. En caso de sospecha de
sobrecarga, el asidero tiene que ser controlado impre-
scindiblemente por la empresa encargada del manteni-
miento antes de continuar usándolo. En caso de duda
se tiene que contactar el servicio posventa sanitario de
EWI, Tel. [phone] para dejarse aconsejar.
Use el asidero rebatible de apoyo EWI sólo para el
uso previsto descrito en la parte de uso previsto. En
caso de uso inadecuado, p. ej,. como aparato de gim-
nasia o como ayuda para trepar, se pueden producir
accidentes con lesiones graves. Al bajar el asidero no
deben encontrarse personas (especialmente niños)
debajo del asidero. Al no observarse estas indicaciones

Instalación del asidero rebatible de apoyo HEWI
El funcionamiento impecable y seguro del asidero
rebatible de apoyo EWI depende en grado sumo del
montaje adecuado en la pared. Por eso, este montaje
tiene que ser efectuado exclusivamente por personal
calificado del ramo (instaladores sanitarios). Una insta-
lación efectuada de forma inadecuada puede llevar a
graves mermas en el funcionamiento del asidero reba-
tible de apoyo. Debido a ello se pueden generar acci-
dentes con lesiones graves. Por ello se tiene que acon-
sejar expresamente no efectuar por sí mismo el monta-
je del asidero. En el montaje del asidero rebatible de
apoyo EWI se tiene que tener presente por el perso-
nal especializado que la superficie de fijación en toda el
área de la placa de la pared sea plana (que no haya
ranuras o dislocamientos del alicatado), que la configu-
ración de la pared sea adecuada para el montaje del
asidero y que, en especial, no tenga puntos débiles.
Además se tiene que tener cuidado de elegir el materi-
al de sujeción adecuado, el cual es ofrecido por la
empresa EWI para una gran cantidad de estructuras
de la pared. En caso de duda se debiera de contactar
el servicio posventa sanitario de EWI, Tel. +49 5691
82-300 para dejarse aconsejar. Deben observarse
imprescindiblemente las indicaciones del fabricante de
los tacos.
Efectúe una verificación del funcionamiento después
del montaje!

Stosowanie uchwytu składanego HEWI
Uchwyt składany EWI jest przystosowany do maksy-
malnego statycznego obciążenia użytkowego 100 kg w
pionie i 40 kg w poziomie. Uchwytu nie należy podda-
wać większym obciążeniom! Przekroczenie maksymal-
nych obciążeń użytkowych może spowodować trwałe
uszkodzenie uchwytu składanego. W razie podejrzenia,
że mogło dojść do przeciążenia uchwytu, musi on
zostać konieczne sprawdzony przez specjalistyczną
firmę prowadzącą konserwację wyposażenia. W razie
wątpliwości należy zasięgnąć opinii Działu
Serwisowego EWI – produkty sanitarne, tel. +48 022
330 00 52.
Uchwyt składany EWI wolno stosować tylko w spo-
sób zgodny z jego przeznaczeniem. Używanie uchwytu
w sposób niezgodny z przeznaczeniem, np. jako urząd-
zenia do ćwiczeń gimnastycznych albo do podciągania
ciała, może doprowadzić do wypadku i poważnych zra-
nień.
Przy opuszczaniu uchwytu nie mogą się pod nim znaj-
dować ludzie (szczególnie dzieci). Nieprzestrzeganie tej
zasady może doprowadzić do wypadku i poważnych
zranień. Ze względu na użyte do jego produkcji materi-
ały uchwyt zachowuje się przy prawidłowym użytkowa-
niu elastycznie. Elastyczność uchwytu zmniejsza nie-
bezpieczeństwo zranienia wskutek uderzenia się o uch-
wyt. Lekkie wygięcie uchwytu w poziomie pod obcią-
żeniem jest normalne. Jeżeli jednak nieobciążony uch-
wyt jest trwale wygięty, należy się skontaktować z firmą
prowadzącą konserwację wyposażenia lub z Działem
Serwisowym EWI – produkty sanitarne, tel. +48 022
330 00 52.
Instalacja uchwytu składanego HEWI
Prawidłowe i bezpieczne funkcjonowanie uchwytu skł-
adanego EWI zależy w znacznym stopniu od jego pra-
widłowego zamocowania do ściany. W związku z tym
uchwyt może być mocowany do ściany wyłącznie
przez odpowiednio wykwalifikowany personel (instala-
torzy wyposażenia sanitarnego). Nieprawidłowo prze-
prowadzona instalacja może spowodować niebez-
pieczne wady funkcjonowania uchwytu składanego.
Może to doprowadzić do wypadku i poważnych zra-
nień. Stanowczo odradzamy mocowanie uchwytu na
własną rękę.
Przy montażu uchwytu składanego EWI wykwalifiko-
wani pracownicy mają obowiązek upewnić się, że
powierzchnia zamocowania uchwytu jest płaska i
równa w całej strefie płyty ściennej (brak odstających
spoin czy połączeń kafelków) oraz że konstrukcja ścia-
ny pozwala na montaż uchwytu (a w szczególności nie
wykazuje niestabilnych i słabych punktów). Należy
także dobrać odpowiednie materiały mocujące, które
są oferowane przez firmę EWI dla wielu różnych rod-
zajów ścian. W razie wątpliwości należy zasięgnąć opi-
nii Działu Serwisowego EWI – produkty sanitarne, tel.
[phone].
Dokładnie przestrzegać wskazówek producenta koł-
ków mocujących.
Po zakończeniu montażu sprawdzić prawidłowość
funkcjonowania produktu.

speziell im WC-Bereich. Er bietet Personen ohne und mit körperlichem Handicap
eine Stütze und Halte möglich keit. Ferner stellt er eine Setz- bzw. Aufstehhilfe für
den WC-Bereich dar.

gned to be used indoors, particularly in bathrooms and above all in toilet areas.
It offers persons with or without a physical disability a support or grab option. It
can additionally be used to help persons to lower and raise themselves in toilet
