rocks/pumice stones/LavaGlassTM above the burner holes.
Doing so will suffocate the flame.

WARNING: If the propane gas tank is leaking gas, you may
see or smell it, or hear a hiss. Do the following:
Disconnect the propane gas tank.
Do not attempt to fix the problem yourself.
Contact your gas supplier or fire department for help.
WARNING: Applying too much propane may result in gas
pooling and will not burn. Allow fresh air into the unit so
that the remaining gas may escape.
WARNING: Use propane tanks with the following dimensions:
12 in. diameter, 18 in. height and 20-lb capacity.
WARNING: You must use a propane tank that has a collar to
protect the gas valve.
WARNING: DO NOT fll tank over 80 percent full.
WARNING: The tank system must be set up for vapor
withdrawal.
WARNING: Do not burn anything other than the provided
materials for this fireplace.
WARNING: Rust and dents may be hazardous and should be
inspected by a gas supplier.
WARNING: Discontinue use if any part of the propane tank is
damaged.
WARNING: Always ensure that lava rocks/pumice
stones/LavaGlass™ are completely dry before use.
Failure to do so will cause them to crack or pop.
WARNING: Keep away from the unit for the first 20 minutes
after igniting your unit for the first time, as lava
rocks/pumice stones/LavaGlassTM could pop out and cause
injury. Should any rocks pop out, discard them.
WARNING: Do not operate unit until all parts are fully
assembled.
WARNING: Do not paint or color any part of this heating
unit.
WARNING: Unit may be hot while in use, do not attempt to
move it while in use.

WARNING: If the heating unit is indoors, detach the propane
tank and leave outdoors.
WARNING: Do not operate on a boat or vehicle. This unit
must be used on a flat surface and outdoors ONLY.
WARNING: Always remove protective cover before
operating (if applicable).
WARNING: Do not set the protective cover over the unit until
it is turned off and completely cooled down.
WARNING: Check for leaks after not using the unit for long
periods of time.
WARNING: Children should never operate this unit. Children
must be supervised while near this unit.
WARNING: Keep gas tank at least 5 feet away from unit
when lit (if external tank).
WARNING: The maximum gas supply pressure is 250 psi.
Min. gas supply: 10 psi.
WARNING: Manifold pressure: 11 inch wc (2.74kPa)
WARNING: Inspect all elements of this heating unit before
each use. If there is damage, the burner must be replaced.
WARNING: Be aware of the hazards of high temperatures and
stay away from the unit to avoid any burns or injury.
WARNING: This fireplace should not be used on plastic or
artificial wood decks.
WARNING: Young children should be carefully supervised
when they are in the area of the appliance.
WARNING: Clothing or other flammable materials should not
be hung from the appliance or placed on or near the
appliance.
WARNING: Any guard or other protective device removed for
servicing the appliance shall be replaced prior to operating
the appliance.
WARNING: Installation and repair should be done by a
qualifed service person.
WARNING: The appliance should be inspected before use
and at least annually by a qualifed service person.
WARNING: More frequent cleaning may be required as
necessary.
WARNING: It is imperative that the control compartment,
burners and circulating airways of the appliance are kept
clean.
WARNING: Allow fireplace to cool completely before placing
on lid.
WARNING: DO NOT use fireplace while lid is installed.
Always remove the lid while fireplace is in use.
WARNING: The gas supply tank should be constructed and
marked with the specifcations for the LP gas tanks of the
U.S. Department of Transportation or the National Standard
of Canada CAN/CSA-B339, Cylinders, Spheres, and Tubes for
Transportation of Dangerous Goods; and Commission.
WARNING: The LP gas tank must have a listed overfilling
prevention device and a QCCI or Type I, (CGA791) LP gas tank
connection.
WARNING: Children and adults should be alerted to the
hazards of high surface temperatures and should stay away
to avoid burns or clothing ignition.

If within one year from the date of original purchase, this item fails due to a defect in material or workmanship, we will replace or repair at
our option, free of charge.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED
This warranty does not cover defects resulting from improper or abnormal use, misuse, accident, or alteration. Failure to follow all
instructions in the owner’s manual will also void this warranty. The manufacturer will not be liable for incidental or consequential damages,
or common erosion of outdoor products. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the
above limitation or exclusion of incidental or consequential damages may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and
you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

1Selecting a location
Always place this outdoor fireplace on a hard, level
non-combustible surface such as concrete, rock or stone.
Please ensure that the minimum clearances are
maintained between the fire table and combustible
surfaces (see below).
Position the fire table so that you have easy access to the
control knob and door.
2Preparing for assembly
Open the door (C), and check that the control knob (H) for
the gas supply system is turned to the “OFF” position
before starting any assembly.

3Loading the propane tank
Place propane gas tank (not included) into the metal stand
inside the door/drawer (C).

WARNING: Please inspect the rubber O-rings in the
propane tank valve to ensure it is not worn before
attaching regulator. Worn rubber O-rings can cause
leaks, explosions and serious injury by propane
tank.

Turn the cylinder valve on the tank clockwise to close
the propane tank.
Attach the preassembled regulator to the cylinder valve by
turning the regulator coupling nut clockwise.
Make sure it is fastened securely and tighten connections
by hand only.

5Fixing the tank
Once the tank is attached to the regulator, make sure the
propane gas tank sits on the metal stand inside
door/drawer (C) completely.
Turn the preassembled wing screw on the outer part of
metal stand clockwise to secure the propane gas tank
tightly.
6Installing the battery
Remove the rubber cap on the electronic igniter (I) by
unscrewing and slide battery (G) into the battery slot.
Make sure the positive side of the battery faces outwards.
Screw the electronic igniter cap (I) over the battery tightly.

WARNING: To ensure proper function, the guard (E) on the
burner (D) should be free of lava rocks (F) at all times.
Keep away from the unit and allow the unit to burn 20
minutes for the first time use.
Always ensure that lava rocks are completely dry before
use. Failure to do so will cause them to crack or pop.

1Performing a leak test 2Lighting the fireplace

WARNING: Before performing a leak test, be sure that no
sparks can occur and you are in a spacious outdoor area.
Connect the propane gas tank to the regulator and turn
the valve on the unit to the “OFF” position. Brush a soap
and water mixture on all connections. Turn the gas supply
on; if bubbles occur on any connection there may be a
leak. If you smell gas or a leak is discovered turn the gas
valve off, disconnect propane gas tank and do not use the
appliance until the leak is repaired.
Do not use the heating unit without inspecting the gas
hose. If there are signs of wear or abrasion you must
replace the hose (if applicable). Pumice stones/lava
rocks/LavaGlass®could pop up and strike somebody’s
face during the process of lighting this unit; stand away
from the unit for the first 20 minutes after igniting. Flame
height should be a yellow/blue color between 2 - 10
inches in height.
Wait 50 minutes after extinguishing flame prior to placing
a lid (if applicable) or protective cover on fireplace.

Perform a leak test in a well ventilated area outside.
Make sure any open flames or cigarettes are extinguished.
Remove the battery (G).
Ensure the burner control knob (H) is in the “OFF” position.
In a bowl, create a soap solution using 1 part water and 1
part liquid detergent.
Apply the soapy water solution to all connections before
attempting to light the fireplace.
A gas leak will be detected by expanding bubbles
originating from the point of the leak.
If a leak is found at any connection point or if you smell
gas, close the tank valve, disconnect the tank and do not
use the fireplace until repairs can be made.
Make sure the control knob (H) is in the 'OFF' position.
Slowly open the valve on the propane gas tank by turning
the knob counterclockwise.
A pulse igniter is built into the control knob (H) so pushing
and turning the control knob (H) counterclockwise to the
'LOW' position will ignite the fuel. Once lit, keep holding
down the control knob for 15 seconds.
If ignition does not immediately take place in seconds,
push and turn the control knob (H) clockwise to 'OFF' and
wait 5 minutes, and then repeat the lighting procedure as
above.
If igniter does not light burner, use a long match or long
butane lighter.
Adjust flame to desired flame with the control knob.
WARNING: If the burner does not ignite with the burner
control valve open, gas will continue to flow out of the
burner and could accidentally ignite causing injury or
property damage.

3Extinguishing the fire
Turn control knob (H) clockwise to the 'LOW' position; let the knob pop up and continue turning the control knob (H) to the
'OFF' position.
Close the cylinder valve on the propane gas tank if you don’t intend to use it for a long time.
Before performing any maintenance always disconnect propane gas tank.
Store your product indoors during winter months. Avoiding extreme cold temperatures will prevent from exposure
damage.
Keep the fireplace free and clear from combustible materials.
Visually inspect burner for obstructions and keep tank enclosure free and clear from debris.
Harsh weather conditions may cause stubborn stains, discoloration and possibly rust pitting.
Permanent damage may occur if powder or solvent comes in contact with painted or plastic components on this
fireplace.
Keep the fireplace stored away from direct sunlight.
If storing this unit inside, disconnect the propane gas tank from the gas valve.
Not using manufacturer approved or supplied parts/accessories may result in a defective condition and void the warranty
of this fireplace.
Always place lid (if applicable) or protective cover on fireplace when not in use.
Use a soft brush to get rid of the mild stains, loose dirt and soil after the burner and pumice stones/lava rocks/LavaGlass®
are completely cooled down. Wipe down with a soft cloth.

Care and Cleaning
Clean any spills immediately to prevent permanent Envirostone®surface staining or damage.
Blot any liquid spills with a clean, dry cloth to avoid spreading of the spill to the rest of the table.
Clean your Envirostone®surface with a soft, clean cloth or sponge.
Mix a solution of warm clean water and mild dish soap to remove any surface dirt or mild spills.
Rinse all soap solution off of the tabletop and dry completely to avoid water spots.
Regularly cleaning the Envirostone®surface will aid in a longer lasting product.
Do not use petroleum-based or abrasive cleaning products.
Do not use any harsh brushes when cleaning the Envirostone®surface.
Do not slide products across the Envirostone®surface to avoid permanent scratching and damage.
Always use protective mats such as coasters or placemats when eating on an Envirostone®surface.
These protective products will help absorb sweating on cool beverages and will block out any heat rings from appearing beneath
a warm mug or plate.
When placing hot dishes on an Envirostone®surface, always use mats or hot pads.
Envirostone®surface must be covered at all times when not in use.
Cover your product with an outdoor furniture cover when not in use to protect it from the elements.
Store your product indoors during winter months.
Avoiding extreme cold temperatures will prevent cracking of the tabletop.
Our Envirostone®material has been sealed to prevent staining and moisture absorption, but it does require proper maintenance to
ensure the integrity of the surface. Please see below for recommendations on maintaining your Envirostone®surface for years of
pleasure:

Check which direction the battery is
inserted.

inside the unit behind the igniter box.
