enclosure.Pleasefollowthestepsbelowforthe
properinstallationandoperationoftheunit.

Installation Procedure
1. Carefullylocateanappropriateplacetomountthe
OCS.Besuretoleaveenoughroomatthetopofthe
unitforinsertionandremovalofthemicroSD™card.
2. Carefullycutthehostpanelperthediagram,cre-
atinga31.9mmx175.0mm,witha+1mm/-0mm
openingintowhichtheOCSmaybeinstalled.Ifthe
openingistoolarge,watermayleakintotheenclos-
ure,potentiallydamagingtheunit.Iftheopeningis
toosmall,theOCSmaynotfitthroughthehole
withoutdamage.
3. Removeanyburrsandorsharpedgesandensure
thepanelisnotwarpedinthecuttingprocess.
4. RemoveallRemovableTerminalsfromtheOCS.
InserttheOCSthroughthepanelcutout(fromthe
front).Thegasketmustbebetweenthehostpanel
andtheEXL6.
5. Installandtightenthefourmountingclips(provided
inthebox)untilthegasketformsatightseal.NOTE:
Maxtorqueis0.8to1.13Nm,or7to10in-lbs.
6. ReinstalltheI/ORemovableTerminalBlocks.Con-
nectcommunicationscablestotheserialport,USB
ports,EthernetportandCANportasrequired.
