1. Carefullylocateanappropriateplacetomountthe
OCSBesuretoleaveenoughroomatthetopofthe
unitforinsertionandremovalofthemicroSD™card.
2. Carefullycutthehostpanelperthediagram,cre-
atinga92mmx92mm+/-0.1mmopeningintowhich
theOCSmaybeinstalled.Iftheopeningistoolarge,
watermayleakintotheenclosure,potentiallydam-
agingtheunit.Iftheopeningistoosmall,theOCS
maynotfitthroughtheholewithoutdamage.
3. Removeanyburrsandorsharpedgesandensure
thepanelisnotwarpedinthecuttingprocess.
4. RemoveallRemovableTerminalsfromtheOCS.
InserttheOCSthroughthepanelcutout(fromthe
front).Thegasketmustbebetweenthehostpanel
andtheOCS.
5. Installandtightenthefourmountingclips(provided
inthebox)untilthegasketformsatightseal.NOTE:
Maxtorqueis0.8to1.13Nm,7to10in-lbs.
6. ReinstalltheI/ORemovableTerminalBlocks.Con-
nectcommunicationscablestotheserialport,USB
ports,Ethernetport,andCANportasrequired.
