Precautions
This is a tool for threading axle. Do not use for any other purpose.
Preparation
Set the handle and tighten the handle set screw with 2mm hex key.
Select the appropriate die for the axle to be threaded.
Install the die in the mount to see the stamped die size.
Tighten the die set screw with 2mm hex key.
Another die can be stored in the other die holder.

Operation
File burrs at the edge of the axle first.
Make sure that the installed die size is
correct.
Lubricate the thread of the axle and the die.
Use HOZAN C-17 Cutting Oil.
Turn the handle clockwise while pressing the
die straightly toward the axle.
If you feel heavy, turn back 1/4 round and
then turn the tool again.
Clean scraps and lubricate the die and store
the tool in place after use.

1. Wear goggles and glo es when use.
2. Do not remodel the tool.
3. Do not use when cracks, breaks, wear or deformation is found on the
tool.
4. Since this tool has no thread guide system, do not use for cutting new
thread.

本器は自転車用ハブシャフトのネジ山修正を行うための専用工具です。
この目的以外には使用しないでください。
１．作業時は保護メガネ・保護グローブを着用してください。
２．本器の改造はしないでください。
３．本器に割れ、欠け、摩耗、変形などが認められる場合は使用しないで
ください。
４．本器はセンターガイドを持たないためネジ山の修正にのみ使用可能です。

ハンドルを本体に差し込み、六角レンチ(２mm)を使用してハンドルを固
定します。
ネジ山修正を行うハブシャフトのサイズに適合するダイスを選び、ダイ
スマウントにセットします。ダイスはサイズ記入面を上にしてダイスマウ
ントにセットし、六角レンチ(２mm)で固定します。
使用しないダイスは反対側のダイスホルダーに固定します。
ご使用方法
ハブシャフトに対してダイス面が直角に当たること
を確認しながらハンドルを時計方向に回します。

１ ネジ山修正を行う前にハブシャフトの先端のバ
リをヤスリなどで整えます。
２ ダイスのサイズを確認し、ハブシャフトのネジ山
とダイスに切削油を注油します。
ホーザンＣ-１７ 切削油などをご使用ください。
４ 途中ハンドルが重くなる場合は、反時計方向に
1/4回転ほど戻してから、再度ハンドルを時計
方向に回します。
５ 使用後は切削クズを取り除き、ダイスに注油して保管してください。
