How to install
1. Start your computer.
2. Download and install the VIVE software. (https://www.vive.com/us/setup/)
3. Create a VIVE account and log in. If you don’t have one create one
herehttps://account.htcvive.com/
4. Download and install Steam. (https://store.steampowered.com/about/)
5. Create a Steam account and log in. If you don’t have one create one here:
https://store.steampowered.com/join
6. Download and install the Steam VR application from the Steam shop.
7. Plug the Headset with Linkbox through the headset cable connector marked
with orange colour.
8. Then connect the linkbox with the Computer through the corresponding
cables. (See image below).
a. Put the USB 3.0 Cable into a USB 3.0 port of the Computer and
linkbox.
b. Insert the DisplayPort cable into the DisplayPort port on your
computer’s graphics card.
c. Connect the power cable with the linkbox into the power socket.
9. Turn on the Linkbox by clicking on the blue button at the Linkbox and it will
turn blue
10. Follow the steps in the VIVE software.
11. If a small exclamation mark appear on the icons in the SteamVR window:
a. The device should have a software update available and you
should update the device.
b. Click on settings icon in right top corner.
c. Go to devices.
d. Go to “Actualise devices”.
12. Follow the instructions on the HTC Vive Cosmos.
13. You are ready to go - Enjoy the ride!.

Main Menu in the device
●Taskbar of the menu. (in the middle of the screen)
Here you will find the most common applications like.
(Topsteamvr Apps - Environment- screenshots)
●Sidebar. (On the left side of the screen)
Here you will find social events like friends.
(Rooms- Recent apps and Steam apps)
Controller
●A/X button
Press this button to confirm the chosen selection.
●B/Y button
Press this button to go back from your selection.
●Joystick
With the joystick you will be able to scroll through the menu in the device.
●Vive port button
Left controller
This is the button for Steam. Here you will be able to search and download
apps from Steam.
Right controller
This is the button to go to the Vive port world.
●Trigger button
To confirm your choices and scale your room.
●Grip button
To grab your content that can be grabbed or hold.

How to download applications from the Steam store
●You have to create an account first. If you don’t have one create one here.
https://account.htcvive.com/.
●Press on your profile icon and press “payment method”.
On the device
●Click on the “Vive port” button on your left controller.
●Login with your HTC Vive port account.
●Click on “Store” in the HTC Vive main menu.
●Search for the desired application in the store or search for it manually with
the search function. (Navigate -> Search).
●Click on the application and then press download or buy.
●The application will then appear in your library.
How to download applications from the HTC Vive store
●You have to sign into your steam account to be able to download and
purchase applications..
●Press your account name and then “Account details”.
●Go to “Add a payment method to this account” and choose the payment
account you would like to link your account with.
On the device
●Click on the “Vive port” button on your left controller.
●Click on “VR Vive port open” and you will enter the Vive port world.
●Click on search at the left side to search for applications or simple use the
“app” or “ games” tab.
●Buy the game by pressing the price or play the game with trial.
●Download the game.
●You can find your downloaded games in the library.
