1 Getting to Know Your Phone
Your Phone
The following figure shows the appearance of your phone and
it is provided only for your reference.

Keys and Functions
Press… To…
zMake a call in standby mode.
zAnswer an incoming call.
zView call logs in standby mode.
zPower on or power off the phone (by pressing
and holding the key for about 3s).
zEnd a call or reject an incoming call.
zReturn to the standby mode.
zAccess the main menu in standby mode.
zSelect a highlighted item.
zAccess the Phonebook list in standby mode.
zReturn to the previous menu.
zAccess the main menu in standby mode.
zConfirm a selection.
zPress to select the desired quick icon option in
standby mode (the key can be used in four ways,
Up ( ), Down ( ), Left ( ), and Right
() direction keys).
zPress in left ( ) or right ( ) direction to
select or function a function.

zCall the voicemail in standby mode (by pressing
and holding the 1key for about 3s).
zSpeed-dial a phone number by pressing and
holding a key from 2 to 9 for about 3s in standby
mode (select Menu > Phonebook > Options >
Setting > Speed dial, enable speed dial function
and assign the desired phone numbers to the
corresponding keys).
zSelect a submenu labeled with the
corresponding number.
Access the main menu screen in standby mode.
Access the Write message screen in standby
mode.
zTurn on or turn off the flashlight in standby mode
(by pressing and holding the key for about 3s).
zSwitch input method in any input mode.
zConfirm a selection in menu option mode.
zAdd new paragraph in any input mode.
zActivate or deactivate the Meeting profile in
standby mode (by pressing and holding the key
for about 3s).
zInput capital letter or small letter in any input
mode.

2 Getting Started
Installing the SIM Card and the Battery
When installing a SIM card, ensure that the golden contact area
on the SIM card is facing downward, and the beveled edge of
the SIM card is properly aligned with that of the SIM card slot.
Removing the Battery and the SIM Card
Before removing the battery and the SIM cards, ensure that
your phone is powered off.

Installing the microSD Card
You can install two microSD cards on the phone at the same
time. When installing a microSD card, ensure that the golden
contact area on the microSD card is facing downward.
Charging the Battery
1. Connect the charger to the charger jack on the phone.
2. Connect the charger to an alternating current (AC) power
socket.
3. Wait until the battery is fully charged.
During the charging, the charging icon is displayed in
animation. When the charging icon becomes static, the
battery is fully charged.
4. Disconnect the charger from the AC power socket.
5. Disconnect the charger from the phone.
Accessing a Function Menu
1. In standby mode, press (Menu).

2. Press to select the desired function menu.
3. Press (OK) or to display the selected menu.
4. Press or to select a submenu.
5. Press (OK) or to display the submenu.
6. Press (Back) to return to the previous menu or exit
the function menu.
To return to the standby mode directly, press .
Automatically Switching Between Profiles
You can set your phone to activate different profiles for
different time period. The phone can automatically switch
between profiles for a maximum of three times each day
according to your settings.
1. In standby mode, select Menu > User profiles > Profile
Switch Timing.
2. Select a clock.
3. Press (Edit) to set the status, time and assign a
profile.
4. Press (Done) to save the setting as prompted
message.

Phone Lock
The phone lock protects your phone from unauthorized use. By
default, the phone lock function is disabled. You can change the
default phone lock code (1234) into any numeric string of four
to eight digits.
Do remember your phone lock code. If you forget it, contact
the service center.
PIN and PUK
The personal identification number (PIN) protects your SIM
card from unauthorized use. The PIN unblocking key (PUK) is
used to unlock the blocked PIN. Both the PIN and the PUK are
provided with the SIM card. For details, contact your service
provider.
If you enter wrong PINs for a specified number of times
consecutively, the phone asks you to enter the PUK.
If you enter wrong PUKs for a specified number of times
consecutively, the SIM card becomes permanently invalid. In
this case, contact your service provider for a new SIM card.
Locking the Keypad
In standby mode, press and hold for about 3s to lock
the keypad. To unlock the keypad, press (Unlock), and
then .
If the auto keypad lock function is enabled, the keypad is locked
automatically, when the phone is idle for a preset period in
standby mode.

When the keypad is locked, you can still press to
answer an incoming call or make an emergency call.
Entertainment
zCamera: to take pictures.
zImage viewer: to show the pictures you have stored in the
phone memory or on the microSD card.
zAudio player: to play the audio files stored in the phone
memory or on the microSD card.
zSound recorder: to record audio clips.
zFM radio: to listen to radio programs.
zSchedule FM record: to record radio programs in
predefined time and date.
zFun & Games: to play games and have fun.

3 Call Functions
Making a Call
1. In standby mode, enter a phone number.
zTo make an international call, press to enter the plus
sign (+), and then enter the country or region code, area
code, and phone number in sequence.
zTo call an extension, enter the phone number, press to
enter P, and then enter the extension number.
2. Press to dial the number from SIM1 card, or press
to dial the number from SIM2 card.
3. Press to end the call.
zYou can also make calls through call logs, contacts, and
messages.
zDuring a call, you can press or to adjust the
volume.
Answering a Call
When there is an incoming call, you can do as follows:
zPress to answer the call.
zPress (Option), and then select Answer to answer
the call.
zPress to reject the call.

zPress (Silent) to silence the phone. Then press
(Reject) to reject the call. Or press (Option),
and then select Answer to answer the call.
zIf the any-key answer function is enabled, you can press any
key except and to answer an incoming call.
4 Text Input
Changing the Text Input Mode
The icon of the current text entry mode is displayed in the
upper left corner of the screen. You can press to change
the mode.

Es, abc, Traditional input mode
eZi es, eZi abc, Predictive input mode
拼Chinese input mode
123 Number input mode

zYou can press (Clear) or once to delete the
last entered character. You can also press and hold
(Clear) for about 3s to clear all the entered
characters at a time; or press and hold to delete
the entered character one by one.
zIn any text input mode, press to enter a space.
zIn any text input mode, press to add a new
paragraph.
Traditional Input Mode
In traditional input mode, you can press the key labeled with
the desired letter to enter the letter on the key.
Predictive Input Mode
In predictive input mode, you can enter a word as follows:
1. Press each key once according to the spelling sequence of
the desired word.
The phone displays a commonly used word according to the
sequence of key presses.
2. Press to scroll to the desired word.
3. Press to enter the word.

Chinese Input Mode
In Chinese input mode, you can enter a Chinese character as
follows:
1. Press each key according to the spelling sequence of the
PinYin.
The phone displays a commonly used Chinese character
according to the sequence of key presses.
2. Press to scroll to the desired word.
3. Press to enter the word.
Entering a Digit
In “123” input mode, press the key labeled with the desired
digit.
Switching Input Methods
To quickly switch the input methods, do as follows:
zPress to switch between the traditional, predictive,
number, and Chinese input modes.
zPress to switch between ABC , Abc and abc by pressing
while it is in traditional or predictive input mode.
Entering a Digit or Symbol
To enter a digit or symbol with qwerty keypad in any input
mode, do as follows:
zPress once to enter the symbol or the digit labeled on
the key temporarily.

zPress twice to enter the symbol or the digit labeled on
the key permanently.
In any input mode, press to enter a symbol.
1. Press to display the symbol list.
2. Press to scroll to the desired symbol.
3. Press to enter the symbol.
5 Messaging
Writing and Sending a Text Message
1. Select Menu > Messaging >Write message.
2. Write the message.
3. Press (Options) and select Send to,or press .
4. Input the recipients manually in Enter recipient option, or
add from phonebook in Add from Phonebook option.
5. Highlight a recipient and press to directly send the
message; or press (Options) for the sending
options as follows:
zSend: to send the message to the recipients.
zSave: to save the message to Outbox and exit the message
editing screen.

Writing and Sending a Multimedia
Message
1. Select Menu > Messaging > Write message.
2. Write the message.
3. Press (Options) for the following options:
zSwitch to MMS: to change the text message to multimedia
message.
zAdd subject: to add the subject content for this multimedia
message.
zAdd picture/sound: to add pictures and audio clips to this
multimedia message. You can also add slides, add
attachments, preview this message, and set the playing
interval between two slides.
4. In message editing screen, press (Options). Then
select Send to,or press .
5. Input the recipients manually in Enter recipient option, or
add from phonebook in Add from phonebook option.
6. Highlight a recipient and press to directly send the
message; or press (Options) for the sending
options as follows:
zSend: to send the multimedia message to the recipients.
zChange to To/Cc/Bcc: the recipient to be sent, copied to, or
blind copied to.
zSave to Drafts: to save the multimedia message to Drafts.

zYou can contact your service provider for the availability
of the MMS and the method for subscribing to this
service.
zEvery MMS has a capacity of 300k bytes.
zYou must open multimedia messages with caution.
Objects in multimedia messages may contain viruses
that might damage your phone, such as malicious
software.
6 Phonebook
Creating a Contact
1. Select Menu > Phonebook > Add new contact.
2. Select To SIM1/2 or To phone for saving the contact.
3. Edit the contact.
