1 Getting to know your device
Figures in this guide are for your reference only. Specific models may vary slightly,
contact your service provider for more detailed information.
Appearance
Power indicator
On: the router is powered on.
Off: the router is powered off.
Network mode
indicator
Fast red blinking: no USIM card is found, the
PIN is not verified, or the USIM card is not
working properly.
Steady cyan: registered with an LTE network.
Steady blue: registered with a 3G network.
Off: no signal.
Wi-Fi/WPS
indicator
Steady on: Wi-Fi turned on or data transfer in
progress.
Blinking: a WPS connection is being set up.
Off: Wi-Fi turned off.
SMS indicator
Steady on: inbox is full.
Blinking: new messages.
Handset status
indicator
Steady on: at least one handset registered.
Fast blinking: handset registration in progress.
Slow blinking: handset paging in progress.
Off: no handsets registered.

Wireless dialing
indicator
Steady on: connected to the Internet via an
LTE/3G network.
Slow blinking: connecting to the Internet via
an LTE/3G network.
Off: not connected to an LTE/3G network.

USIM card slot Install a USIM card to access to the Internet via
an LTE/3G data connection.
Dial-up button
Press this button to manually connect to or
disconnect from the Internet in manual mode.
The router can access to the Internet in Auto,
Manual, or On Demand mode. For details
about the access modes, see the help
information on the web management page.
Wi-Fi/WPS button
Press and hold for about 3 seconds to turn on
or off Wi-Fi.
Press and hold for 6 or more seconds to
active WPS connection when Wi-Fi is turned
on.
Power button
Press and hold for about 5 seconds to power the
router on or off.
Handset
registering/paging
button
Press and hold for 3 or more seconds to
register a handset.
Press to page all the registered handsets.
Power port Connect to compatible power adapter.

USB port
Connect to a USB storage device, or USB
printer.
This port cannot be connected to USB host
devices such as computers.
The router can provide a current up to 500mA.
If this port is connected to a portable hard disk
drive (or other peripherals) whose required
current beyond what the router can provide,
please use an auxiliary power supply for the
hard disk drive.
LAN port Connect to computer, switch, or other LAN
device.
WAN port
Connect to an Ethernet port on the wall through
a network cable if you want to access to the
Internet via wired way.
Reset button
Restoring the router to its factory settings will
deregister all the registered handsets and
erase all user settings (including the handset
base settings). If you want to remain the
handset base settings, log in to the web
management page to restore. For details, see
the help information on the web management
page.
When the router is powered on, use a sharply
pointed object to press and hold for about 3
seconds until all indicators are blinking to restore
the router to its factory settings. After the factory
defaults are restored, the router will restart
automatically.
Navigation keys
Access the main menu by pressing the OK
key in standby mode.
Access a shortcut menu by pressing the
corresponding navigation key in standby
mode.
Left function key Select the option displayed in the lower left
corner of the screen.
Speaker key
Activate the hands-free mode when making or
answering a call.
Call key
Make or answer a call.
View the dialed call log in standby mode.

Mute key
Press to mute or unmute an ongoing call.
Shortcut key
Press to use the shortcut function.
Intercommunication
key
Press to access the list of registered handsets in
standby mode.
Number and
symbol keys
Enter numbers, letters, and symbols.
Number keys (2–9): Speed-dial a user-
assigned phone number by pressing and
holding a key in standby mode.
# key: Switch between text input methods in
editing mode.
End key
End or reject a call.
Press and hold to power the handset on or off.
Clear key
Press to delete the character to the left of the
cursor in editing mode.
Right function key Select the option displayed in the lower right
corner of the screen.

2 Installation
Installing the USIM card
If you want to use LTE/3G wireless data service and voice service, please install
the USIM card.
1. Pull out the card slot cover and rotate it to reveal the USIM card slot.
2. Partially insert the USIM card into the card slot. Ensure that the beveled edge
of the USIM card aligns with that of the card slot. Gently push the card until it
clicks into place.
3. Close the card slot cover.
Before removing the USIM card, ensure that the router is powered off and
disconnected from the power outlet.
(Optional) Installing the external antenna
If you want to use LTE/3G wireless data and voice service, in areas with poor
reception, connect external antenna to the router's external antenna port to
improve signal reception.
Only use the external antenna indoors, and do not use it during thunderstorm.
Before using external antenna, log in to the web management page
(http://192.168.1.1) and set Antenna mode to Outer. For details, see the help
information on the web management page.
Install external antenna into the SMA1 port first. If it's necessary, screw another
external antenna fully into the SMA2 port to get a stronger receiving signal, and
place it at least 1 meter away from the external antenna installed on SMA1 port.
Only installing an external antenna to SMA2 port will result in your router not being
able to connect to the Internet.

Installing the handset battery
1. Slide the battery cover off.
2. Insert the battery into the battery slot. Ensure that the golden contacts of the
battery mate securely with those in the battery slot.
3. Slide the battery cover back onto the handset.
If the handset will not be used for a long time, remove the battery from the handset.
Connecting cables
After the router is installed, keep it upright, so the indicators are easy to see.
Furthermore, when placed flat, the router may be damaged due to poor heat
dissipation.

The telephone port cannot be used at this time, connection with this port will bring no
response on your telephone.

3 Powering the device on
Once connected to a power outlet, the router automatically powers on.
To power the handset on, press and hold key until the screen lights up.
4 Registering the handset
Skip this section if is shown on your handset screen.
When registering a handset with the router, ensure that the handset is near the
router. After the handset is registered, use the handset within range of the router.
Otherwise, the handset will display a message and disconnect from the router.
You can register a maximum of 6 handsets with the router.
Register a handset with the router before using it.
1. Press and hold on the router for over 3 seconds until blinks
quickly.
2. On the handset, select Menu > Settings > Handset > Register handset.
3. Press the up and down navigation keys to scroll to the base with which you
want to register the handset, and then enter the registration password.
The default registration password is 0000. To change the password, select Menu >
Settings > Base > Security > Change system PIN.
Wait until is shown on your handset screen, the handset is registered with
the router successfully.
To deregister the handset, select Menu > Settings > Handset > Deregister
handset. You cannot use the handset after it has been deregistered.
