• maximum number of modules per master: 31 (62 with AS-i master 2.1)
• The slave can only be operated in conjunction with a version 3�0 master
(master profile M4).

5 Installation
►Disconnect the system from power before installation�
►Mount the module onto a 35 mm rail or fasten it onto a suitable mounting
surface�
6 Addressing
The address is set to 0 at the factory�
6.1 Addressing with the AC1154 addressing unit
When mounted and wired the module can be addressed with the addressing cable
(E70213) via the integrated addressing interface.
If the slave is used in combination with a master of the new generation (version
2.1), it is possible to select an address between 1A and 31B with the AC1154
addressing unit�

7 Electrical connection
The unit must be connected by a qualified electrician�
The national and international regulations for the installation of electrical
equipment must be adhered to�
►Disconnect power�
►Connect the sensors and actuators to the connection terminals�
►Do not connect the inputs I1���I4 und I+, I- to external potential�

I+: Sensor supply +24 V
I-: sensor supply 0 V
E+: actuator supply +24 V
E-: actuator supply 0 V

8 Operation
Check whether the unit operates correctly� Display by LEDs:
LED 1 yellow LED lights: input switched
LED 2 AS-i green lights: AS-i voltage supply OK
LED 2 Fault red lights: AS-i communication error,
e�g� slave address 0
LED 2 Fault red flashes: periphery fault,
e�g� overload or short circuit of the output
LED 2 AUX green lights: external voltage OK
LED 3 yellow lights: output switched
9 Maintenance, repair and disposal
The operation of the unit is maintenance-free� After use dispose of the unit
in an environmentally friendly way in accordance with the applicable national
regulations�
