The SNYPER-LTEM (GL) is a high performance, multi-language network signal
analyser, dedicated to surveying the global LTE Cat M, LTE NB IoT*& 2G/GSM
networks**. Signal strength and cell parameters can be detected on LTE Cat M and
on 2G/GSM. The SNYPER-LTEM (GL) comes in a robust carry case with an antenna,
a USB cable, a USB car charger and power accessories.
SNYPER-LTEM (GL) can save one survey. Results can be downloaded to a PC and
displayed in .CSV format or .HTML graphical format, allowing users to analyse the
data and make informed decisions about their network rollout.
The powerful SNYPER-LTEM (GL) summary page displays percentage thresholds to
determine most suitable mobile network operator available and the performance of a
“preferred” MNO can be evaluated against the other networks. The SNYPER-LTEM
(GL) can also be used to help establish optimum antenna placement and perform
local site surveys.
*LTE NB IoT networks do not currently provide signal strength levels for cell sites.
**SNYPER-LTEM (GL) does not require a SIM in order to function.
The SNYPER-LTEM (GL) has the following features:
»View LTE Cat M and 2G/GSM signal strength and cell parameters
»Stores 1 survey
»USB download of stored surveys to PC (.CSV and .HTML format)
»Large easy to read, daylight viewable LCD display

Charging and Battery Status
Figure 7. Charging and battery status
Charging and battery status bar:
A fully charged device is indicated by a green bar extending across the top
of the display.
As the device is used and the battery discharges, the battery status bar will
shrink to the right of the display and change from green, to yellow, to red.
Recharging is recommended once red bars are displayed on the device
battery status bar.
If the device drops below allowable low battery usage the unit will switch
off and charging will be required.
Approximately 4 - 6 hours are needed to fully charge your SNYPER. The device will
be charged when it is plugged into a USB power source - the supplied AC adaptor,
or the USB host port on a PC or similar. The device’s battery provides up to 48 hours
normal use and up to 2 months standby mode from a fully charged battery.
When the device is plugged into a charging supply, it will turn on if it is off so that the
battery status bar is visible.
Charge status
LED

NOTE: To protect the battery from damage, charging is only allowed when the temperature is between 0 and 35°C.
NOTE: Following the charging process and the removal of the charge cable from
the USB connection of your SNYPER product, you will notice a drop back in the
green bar. This is normal as the battery reaches a stabilised voltage following
removal of the external power source. Battery voltage at full charge should be
between 4.10V and 4.15V.
