Product Description
The IB840 Pentium 4 CPU card incorporates the Intel 865G chipset that
can utilize a single PGA478 processor of up to 3.2GHz or higher and
supports FSB frequency of 400/533/800Mhz (100Mhz, 133Mhz, and
200Mhz HCLK respectively).
The 865G chipset comes with a Graphics Memory Controller Hub
(GMCH) designed for use with the Pentium 4 processor with 512-KB L2
cache on 0.13 micron process. The GMCH component provides the CPU
interface, DDR interface, AGP interface, Hub Interface, and integrated
graphics with display interfaces.
Aside from CRT support, the VGA function feature a Micro AGP slot for
optional daughter cards:
IBA120: with Chrontel CH7017 chipset that supports dual channel
LVDS, TV-out interface
IBA110: with ATI M7CSP32, M9CSP64 / M10CSP64 chipset,
64MB/32MB frame buffer and supports dual channel LVDS
interface, TMDS and CRT2 display function.
The board also has one Intel 82547EI Gigabit LAN and an Intel 82551
10/100MB fast Ethernet LAN.
Other advanced features include two Serial ATA ports, four USB 2.0
ports, IrDA interface and audio function.
