IR4 Keys, Chargers & OneKEY Manager
Section 1: Charger (4 & 8
Position) Installation
• Adhesive Mount - Use the
povided alcohol wipe to clean the
area where the charger will be
placed. Allow it to dry completely.

DIRECTIONS: Apply topically as
needed to cleanse surface mounting area.

Determine how the cable will be
routed. There are 3 exits on the bot-
tom of each charger.

Peel the clear lm from the adhesives
on the bottom of the charger (4
adhesives on the 4 position charger
and 6 on the 8 position charger).
1c Route the cable as determined in
Step 1b, place the charger where
desired and apply pressure for at
least 10 seconds.

The cable can also descend down
through the xture if a hole or slot is
present.

2b Place the charger onto the screws.
Screw Mount - Drill 2 small pilot
holes based on the distances (either
horizontally or vertically) below that
correspond to your charger.

Insert the screws (not provided,
choose screws appropriate to the
xture’s material) into the pilot holes.
Allow enough of the screw sticking
out to hang the charger.

The LED on the charger will illuminate,
indicating that it is receiving power.
4Place a Key onto the contacts in one
of the charger slots. Allow the Key to
charge for 6 hours before use.

Below is a breakdown of the IR4 Key’s LED
indicators.
• Green - Battery and Timeout are good for
continued use.
• Yellow - Return the Key to the Manager
within the hour. Battery is low or Timeout is
close to expiration.
• Red - Return the Key to the Manager
immediately. Battery is too low for
continued use or the Key has timed out.
• No LED - Return the Key to the Manager
immediately. Battery is completely
depleted.
3Plug the power cable into a PS515
power supply. Plug the power supply
into a power outlet.
7a Section 2: OneKEY Manager
Installation
Place the OneKEY Manager where
desired and plug the PS512 power
supply into the port on the back of
the Manager. Plug the power supply
into a power outlet.
If using the Single Key Charger
(OK4101), slide the OneKEY into the
charger. Ensure that the charging
contacts on the OneKEY align with
the charging contacts on the charger.

Plug the network cable into the eth-
ernet port on the OneKEY Manager.
Follow the screen prompts to set up
the OKM
Note: If not using Access Manager, it
is not necessary to connect the OKM
to the internet.

The LED on the back of the OneKEY
Manager will illuminate, indicating that
it is receiving power.
7b 88Select the Language. Conrm by
pressing “Yes”.
Note: Not all languages may be
supported at the time of launch.
Additional languages will be added
through periodic updates.
Section 3: Enrolling the OneKEY
Manager (OKM) in Access
Manager
Before beginning, ensure that you have a valid
InVue Access Manager account and
the following information
• Your Site URL
(for example “https://customer.invue-am.com”)
• Your Manager PIN
• Your Administrator User Name & Password
• Your Adminstrator User Pin
• Your OKM Installer Code (not needed if
using the OKM without Access Manager).
• The TCP port for the OKM
If you do not have any of these credetials, please
reach out to the InVue Customer Service Team.

99Select “Yes” to proceed and enter
your OKM Installer Code.
Select “No” if not using Access
Mananger.
1010 Enter your OKM Installer Code. 1111 Select which option best suits your
installation
• Auto Connect (DHCP) - Best suited
for most installations
• Manual Connect (Static IP) - Will
need to be coordinated between your
IT department and InVue Customer
Service
• Proceed without Connection -
Select this is not using Access
Manager and not connected via
ethernet.
1212 The OKM will display a connection
status screen.

1313 Once successfully connected, the
OKM will update the settings. At this
time, the OKM will appear in Access
Manager. Log in to that platform to
continue the installation.
1414 Once logged in to Access Manager, select the KAS/OKM icon on the left hand side of the
screen.
15a15a Locate the MAC address on the back
side of the OKM, near the ethernet
port.
15b15b Match that to the corresponding
entry in Access Manager.
1616 Ensure that the OKM is both Connected and Linked to the site. Return to the OKM to nish
setup.
17a17a Section 4: Create New Site
Code
You will then be asked if you are
already using an InVue Onekey at
your site. Select “No” for a new
installation. Select “Yes” To transfer
a code from an existing key (See
Section 5).

17b17b Select “Yes” to have the OKM create
a site code.
17c17c The OKM will then generate a site
code. You can proceed to section 6.
18a18a Section 5: Transferring an
Existing Site Code
You will then be asked if you are
already using an InVue Onekey at
your site. Select “Yes” if already
using a OneKEY (any generation) at
your site.
18b18b Select which OneKEY you are using.
IR4 will be for adding or replacing
new OKMs. Legacy (IR2 or IR3) for
existing IR ecosystems. Transferring
site codes from existing IR
ecosystems is covered in Sections
5b.

If IR4 is selected, you will be
prompted to place an existing key
onto the OKM.
Place the Key onto the contacts on
the OKM.

Once charged, remove a OneKEY
from the charger.

OneKEYs
If Legacy is selected, you will receive
this screen. Select “Contact InVue”
for conguration assistance. When
prompted, select “Proceed”.
Place the Key onto the contacts on
the OKM.

Section 5bi: IR2
Once charged, remove a OneKEY
from the charger.

Section 5bii: IR3
If currently using the IR3 version
contact InVue Customer Service
to obtain a new IR2 Programming
Station (PK4401) and power supply
(PS512). Plug the power supply into
the NEW Programming Station.
Note: If currently using IR3 keys with
an IR2 Programming Station, use the
existing station.

existing store code onto the
Programming Station and press
the button on the key to transfer
the store code.
22c22c Place a new IR4 OneKEY onto the
Programming Station and press the
button on the key to retrieve the store
code from the Programming Station.
22d22d Place the coded IR4 OneKEY into the
OKM.

22e22e If you receive this screen Proceed to
Section 6.
If you do not receive this screen,
please contact InVue Customer
Service for further assistance.
2323 Section 6: Checking out a
OneKEY
Remove a fully charged OneKEY
from the charger.
2424 Ensure that this screen is displayed
on the OKM.
2525 Place the Key onto the contacts on
the OKM.
2626 The Key will sync with the OKM. 2727 If using Access Manger you will be
prompted to enter your PIN to check
out the key.
Note: If not using Access Manager,
use the touchpad and press “Check
Out” to activate the Key.
2828 Enter your PIN. 2929 The check out process will initiate.

Touchscreen Care
Instructions:
• If the screen becomes dirty, use a
soft clean cloth to gently wipe the
surface.
• Do NOT use ux, water, acetone,
ethanol, isopropyl alcohol, toluene
or ammonia (glass cleaner) when
cleaning the surface.
Battery Warnings:
• The Key & OneKEY Manager
contain non-replaceable lithium
ion batteries.
• The entire device should be
recycled at an approved center
for rechargeable batteries.
• Do not immerse in water.
• Do not place in a re or excessive
heat.
• Do not disassemble, punture or
pierce.
3030 Your Key is now ready for use. 3131 Section 7: Checking in a
OneKEY
Ensure that this screen is displayed
on the OKM.
3232 Place the Key onto the contacts on
the OKM.
3333 The Key will sync with the OKM.
Return the Key to the charger for the
next user.

3434 Once synced, this screen will appear.
