弊社製コネクタ EVAFLEX 5-HD を安全に御使用頂くことを目的とし、コネクタの挿入・抜去の手順及び注意点を記述致します。
This manual outlines how to correctly insert and remove EVAFLEX 5-HD connectors, as well as precautions
for proper handling of the product.

【 FFC 挿入手順 ／FFC Insertion Method 】
①図 2-1 の様に、FFC のパターンを上に向けて挿入間口に対し水平にセットする。
※本製品は上接点タイプのみですので、FFC のパターンは上を向けた状態でセットしてください。
また FFC 挿入手順で COVER の操作は不要です。
Place FFC pattern upward and set it horizontally against PCB as shown in Fig.2-1.
※EVAFLEX 5-HD is a top contacting type connector. Make sure that FFC pattern is facing upward.
Keep cover closed while inserting FFC.
＜注 1／Caution 1＞
図 2-2 のように FFC のパターンを下に向けた状態での挿入はしないでください。
Do not insert while FFC pattern is facing downward. (Fig.2-2)

② 図 2-3 の様に、FFC を水平に奥まで挿入する。
Insert FFC horizontally until it stops. (Fig.2-3)
＜注 2／Caution 2＞
図 2-4 斜め挿入は 6.0°以下とし、コネクタに対して垂直になるまでは、
挿入方向に過度な荷重は加えずに仮挿しした後、挿入してください。
FFC shall not exceed 6 degrees toward the connector.
Do not apply excessive load until FFC is aligned vertically.
Slightly insert FFC before pushing it completely. [Fig.2-4]

＜注 3／Caution 3＞
図 2-5 斜め挿入は 25.0°以内とし、コネクタに対して水平になるまでは、
挿入方向に過度な荷重は加えずに仮挿しした後、挿入してください。
Do not slant FFC over 25 degrees.
Do not apply excessive load until FFC is aligned horizontally.
Slightly insert FFC before pushing it completely. [Fig.2-5]
【 FFC 抜去手順／FFC Removal Method 】
①図 3-1 の様に、コネクタ操作部を上方向に引き上げる。
Pull the tab to open the cover as shown in fig. 3-1.

図 3-2 の様に、操作部を奥側に押し込むのは御控えください。回転軸やストッパー破損の原因となります。
Do not push the tab toward back side as shown in fig. 3-2.
This could damage rotating shaft or the stopper.
③図 3-3 の様に、FFC を水平に引き抜く。
Pull FFC horizontally as shown in Figure 3-3.

図 3-4 FFC は嵌合間口に対し垂直に引き抜いて下さい。
回転抜去は、FFC の変形又は FFC のパターンにダメージを与える恐れがあります。(写真 3-1 )
Straightly remove FFC from the connector. [Fig.3-4]
Do not tilt FFC or it may damage FFC or FFC pattern. [Photo.3-1]

COVER が閉じている状態で FFC の抜去(強制抜去)はしないで下さい。( 写真 3-2 )
FFC 及びコネクタを破損させる原因となります。( 写真 3-3 )
Do not pull FFC while cover is closed. [Photo. 3-2]
It may damage FFC or connector. [Photo. 3-3]
④図 3-5 の様に、FFC 抜去後に COVER を閉じる。
Close cover after FFC is removed completely as shown in Figure 3-５.

FFC は挿入時に Lock と干渉するため、
FFC 耳に摺動痕があります。

COVER 上面を過大な力で押さないでください。(図 3-6)
コネクタ破損の原因になります。
Do not apply excessive force to the cover surface. [Fig.3-6]
It may damage connector.
【 コネクタ取り扱いにおける注意事項／Cautions in handling the connector 】
① コネクタ嵌合状態及び FFC 抜去時にて、FFC を基板に対して垂直に引っ張らないで下さい。(写真 4-1 )
コネクタ及び FFC の破損の原因になります。
Do not pull FFC vertically toward PCB, as this may damage FFC or the connector. [Photo. 4-1]

② FFC 引き回しの際は、コネクタ及び FFC に過大な力が掛からない様、ご注意願います。
コネクタ破損及び FFC 断線の原因となります。
Do not apply excessive force to the connector and FFC or they may be damaged.
③ 常にコネクタに力が掛かるような FFC 引き回しは、ご遠慮願います。
嵌合不良、コネクタ及び FFC の破損の原因となります。
Do not pull around FFC that will apply continuous stress to the connector,
as this may cause mating failure or damage to the connector and FFC.
