1- Dikkat
1.1- Yüksekte çalısma ciddi yaralanmalara ve ölümlere yol açabilecek
tehlikeli aktivitelerdendir. Uygun kullanım tekniklerini ve güvenlik
yöntemlerini ögrenmek ve pratikte uygulamak kullanıcının sorumlulugu
altındadır. Bu emniyet kemeri yalnızca bu konuda egitim almıs uzman
personel tarafından veya bu personelin gözetiminde kullanılmalıdır.
Yanlıs kullanım ya da uygun olmayacak şekilde kullanılması halinde ciddi
yaralanmalara ve ölümcül kazalara neden olabilir.
1.2- Bu ekipman Kişisel Koruyucu Donanımdır ve kişiye özel olmalıdır.
1.3- Bu emniyet kemeri yüksekten düsmeyi önleyen bir sistemin bileseni
olup amacı bir düsüs esnasında kullanıcının yere düsmesini önlemektir.
Bu donanım tek basına yüksekte çalısmak için uygun degildir. Bu donanım
ile beraber CE sertifikalı uzatma halatı (lanyard), sok emici, kancalar,
düşüş tutucuları v.b. ekipmanlar ile beraber kullanılması zorunludur.
1.4- Bu ürün 150 kg yük kapasitesine sahiptir ve yine aynı yük kapasite-
sine sahip ekipmanlarla beraber kullanılmalıdır (Lanyard, Kılavuz Tip
Düşüş Durdurucu, Geri Sarımlı Düşüş Durdurucu, vb..).
Uyarı: Bu ürün kapasitesinin üstündeki yüklerle ve tasarım amacının
dışında kullanılmamalıdır.
Ürünün performansını etkileyecek çalışma ortamı, çevre koşullar ve
beraberinde kullanılan lanyardı etkileyebilecek keskin kenar gibi yapılar
gözlemlenmelidir.
2- Ham Madde
Bu Emniyet Kemerinin;
*Tekstil aksamları % 100 Polyester
* Metal aksamları alüminyum ve çeliktir.
* Aksesuarları polyester, Polyamid veya PVC malzemeden imal edilmistir.
3- Genel Özellikler
Kişisel Koruyucu Donanım (KKD)
* Bu emniyet kemeri yüksekte çalısmalarda size yardımcı bir donanım ile
güvenli bir noktadan baglantı alarak güvenli sekilde çalısmanıza olanak
verir.
Emniyet kemeriniz 2016/425(EU) KKD Regülasyonunda belirtilen EN
361:2002, EN 358:2018, EN 813:2008, EN 12277+A1:2018 Tip A ve EN
1497:2007 normlarına uygun olarak üretilmistir.
4- Ürün Kullanımı
4.1- EN 361:2002 Düşüş Durdurma Kemeri
* Tam Vücut Düşüş Durdurma Kemeri
Tam Vücut Kemeri düşüş durdurma amaçlı kullanıldığında, sistemin tüm
bileşenleri EN 363 (Düşme önleyici sistem) gereksinimlerini karşılamak
zorundadır. Ankraj Noktaları EN 795, Lanyardlar EN 354, Şok Emiciler EN
355 ve Karabinalar EN 362 standartına uygun olmalıdır.
* Ön ve Arka D Halkaları; (Şekil-1)
EN 363 (Şok emici, lanyard, düşü durdurma sistemi) standartında
tanımlanan ekipmanları yalnızca kemerin önünde veya arkasında bulunan
D Halkalarına bağlayabilirsiniz. Bu noktalar kolay fark edilmesi için “A” ile
işaretlenmiştir.Bu düşüş durdurma kemeri için derecelendirilen Maks. Yük
150 kg.’dir.
Uyarı: Kullanım süresince toka bağlantıları ve kolon ayarları düzenli
olarak kontrol edilmelidr.
4.2- EN 358:2018 İş Konumlandırma Kemeri
Konumlandırma için her zaman Şekil-2’de gösterilen yan D halkalarını
kullanınız. Konumlandırma lanyardı ayar cihazıyla mesafenizi iki
elle serbest çalışmaya müsade edebilecek şekilde ayarlayınız. Ankraj
noktası bel hizasının üzerinde ve lanyard gergin tutulmalıdır ve serbest
hareket 0.6 metreye sınırlandırılmış olmalıdır. Konumlandırma kemeri
için derecelendirilen Maks. Yük 150 kg.’dir. Bir iş konulnadırma sistemi
kullanıcıyı destekleyerek yaslanma veya süspansiyon esnasında kendisini
tam olarak konumlandırmaya izin verir. Konumlandırma amaçlı EN
358 uyumlu iş konumlandırma lanyarları ve alan sınırlama amaçlı EN
354 uyumlu lanyardlar ile EN 362 uyumlu karabinalar kullanılarak
bağlanmalıdır.
Uyarı:Konumlandırma lanyardı düşüş durdurma amaçlı kullanılmamalıdır
ve kemeri tarafından öngörülemeyen gerilime maruz kalma veya askıda
kalma riski varsa kemer kullanılmamalıdır. İş konumlandırma veya alan

sınırlandırma için toplu (örn. güvenlik ağları) veya kişisel (örn. EN 363
standardına uygun düşüş durdurma sistemleri) yüksekten düşmeye karşı
korunma yöntemleriyle ek düzenlemeler gerekebilir.
4.3- EN 813:2008 Oturma Kemeri
Şekil-3 Oturma kemeri, alt seviyede bağlantı noktası gerektiren
süspansiyon veya iple erişim için kullanır. Karında bulunan 2 perlon diğer
cihazların bağlantıları için beraber kullanılmalıdır.Oturma kemeri için
derecelendirilen Maks. Yük 150 kg.’dir.Bir yüksekten düşmede askı travması
oluşabilir. Askı travması bilinç kaybına yol açabilir. Bu tür olaylardan
kaçınmak için talimatlara kesinlikle uyulmalıdır.Kullanıcı EN 12841 İniş
Cihazlarını EN 362 Karabina kullanarak karın D-Halkasına bağlamalıdır.
Uyarı: Oturma kemeri düşüş durdurma amaçlı kullanılamaz. Kullanım
süresince toka bağlantıları ve kolon ayarları düzenli olarak kontrol
edilmelidr. İki perlon halkası daima beraber kullanılmalıdır. Bağlantı
noktası olarak tek perlon halkasının kullanımı yasaktır.
Tavsiye: Kullanıcı oturma kemerini ilk kez kullanacaksa kulanım amacına
uygun doğru beden seçimi, yeterli ayar yapıldığından emin olmak ve kabul
edilibilir konforda olup olmadığını kontrol etmek için önce güvenli bir
yerde süspansiyon testine tabi tutmalıdır.
4.4-EN 12277+A1:2018 Tip A Dağcılık ve Tırmanma Kemeri
Şekil-4 Dağcılık kemeri belaying ve abseiling içeren dağcılık ve tırmanma
aktivitelerinde kullanılabilir. Sırttaki ve göğüsteki bağlantı noktaları kaya
tırmanışı dahil dağcılık aktiviteleri için uygundur. Bağlantı yerlerine Figür-
8-düğüm ile bağlanılabilir. Dağcılık kemeri için derecelendirilen Maks. Yük
150 kg.’dir. Bir yüksekten düşmede askı travması oluşabilir. Askı travması
bilinç kaybına yol açabilir. Bu tür olaylardan kaçınmak için talimatlara
kesinlikle uyulmalıdır. Kullanıcı EN 15151 belaying cihazları, EN 12841 iniş
cihazları gibi veya diğer dağcılık ekipmanlarını EN 12277 kemerine EN 12275
karabinalarıyla sırt veya göğüs D-Halkasını kullanarak bağlayabilir.
Uyarı: Kullanım süresince toka bağlantıları ve kolon ayarları düzenli olarak
kontrol edilmelidr.
Tavsiye: Dağcılık ve tırmanma aktivitelerinde kullanılmalıdır ve kullanıcı
dağcılık kemerini ilk kez kullanacaksa kulanım amacına uygun doğru beden
seçimi, yeterli ayar yapıldığından emin olmak ve kabul edilibilir konforda
olup olmadığını kontrol etmek için önce güvenli bir yerde süspansiyon
testine tabi tutmalıdır.Bu ürün normal iklim koşullarında kullanılmak
üzere tasarlanmıştır. Kimyasal ajanlar ve aşındırıcı maddelerle temasından
kaçınılmalıdır. Dondurucu ve buzlu koşullar veya kimyasal temas ürünün
dayanımını olumsuz etkileyebilir.
4.5- EN 1497:2007 Kurtarma Kemeri
Şekil-4 Kurtarma kemeri yalnızca kurtarma aktiviteleri için tasarlanmış
olabilir veya tam vücut kemeri gibi kişisel düşüş durdurucu diğer kemerlerin
tasarımına dahil edilmiş olabilir. A rescue harness is intended to be worn
during normal working activities. Bir kurtarma kemerinin normal çalışma
aktiviteleri esnasında kullanılması amaçlanmıştır.2 Göğüs perlon halkası ve
Sırt D halkası bağlantı noktası olarak kullanılmalıdır. Kurtarma ekipmanı
yalnızca bir kurtarma sisteminin parçası olabilir.Kurtarma kemeri için
derecelendirilen Maks. Yük 150 kg.’dir.
Uyarı:Kurtarma kemeri bir düşüş durdurma sisteminde kullanıcıyı yakalama
amacıyla kullanılmamalıdır. Kullanıcı üzerindeki baskı serbest bırakılmadığı
takdirde askı travmasının tehlikeli sonuçları olabilir (damarlardaki kan
akışının bloke olması ve kan birikmesi gibi).
Tavsiye: Kullanıcı kurtarma kemerini ilk kez kullanacaksa kulanım amacına
uygun doğru beden seçimi, yeterli ayar yapıldığından emin olmak ve kabul
edilibilir konforda olup olmadığını kontrol etmek için önce güvenli bir yerde
süspansiyon testine tabi tutmalıdır.
4.6- Düşüş Açıklığı Mesafesi = A+B+C+D

* Düşüş yüksekliği, kullanılan birçok ekipmana göre ve emniyet alınan ankraj
noktasının konumuna göre degişir.
* Düşüş yüksekliği; bir düşüş riskine karsı, düşüş sonrası bir zemine
çarpmamak için bulunması gereken minimum yüksekliktir.
Düşüş uzunlugunu hesaplamak için asagıdaki yükseklikler dikkate
alınmalıdır:
A : Bir düşüş durdurma lanyardının uzunlugu.(lanyard+Şok Emici+Karabina)
B : Şok emicinin açıldıktan sonraki uzunlugu.
C : Kullanıcının yüksekligi.
D : Güvenlikyüksekligi
5. Ürün Kontrolü ve Dogrulama
5.1 Her Kullanımdan Önce
Yüksekte çalısma ürünleri kisiye özel olarak kullanılmalıdır. Bu ürünler her
kullanımdan önce ve sonra düzenli bir sekilde kontrol edilmeli ve tespit
edilen bilgiler ürün kontrol defterine kayıt edilmelidir. Bu kontroller ısıgın
yeterli oldugu bir ortamda, ürünü düz bir zemin üzerine yaydıktan sonra ve
ürünü asagıdaki kontrol kriterlerine göre kontrol ediniz.
Dokuma kolonlarının renklerinin degisip degismedigini,
* Dokuma kolonlarının üzerinde bir yıpranma olup olmadıgı,
* Dikişlerin kontrolü (dikişler sökülmemis olmalıdır),
* Tokaların kontrolü (tokalardakırık-çatlak kontrolü)
* Metal aksamların kontrolü (metal üzerinde çatlaklar,sekil bozuklukları,
paslanma, vb.), Yüksekte çalışma donanımlarının kontrolünde yukarıdaki
maddelerden birinde bir bozukluk görüldügünde ürün üreticiye gönderilip
tavsiyesi alınmalı veya ürün kullanımdan kaldırılmalıdır.
Ürün üzerinde görülen bozulmalar kesinlikle tamir edilmemelidir. Bu konuda
yanlızca üreticinin yönlendirmesi ilehareket edilmelidir. İlkkullanımdan önce
güvenli bir alanda kullanıcı doğru beden seçimini yaptığından ve kemerin
rahat çalışmasına izin verecek şekilde ayarladığından emin olmalıdır.
5.2 Her Kullanım Sırasında
Kullanım sırasında ürün bir sistem ile beraber kullanıldıgında, tüm
sistemin dogru kullanıldıgını kontrol etmek çok önemlidir. Sistem içindeki
tüm ekipmanlarınbir diger ekipmana göre dogru konumlandıgından emin
olunuz.
6. EN 365 Standardına Iliskin Genel Bilgilendirme
6.1 Kurtarma Planı
Ürün kullanımız sırasında her hangi bir zorluk ile karsılasılması bu durum
dan çok hızlı bir şekilde kurtulunması için bir kurtarma planının hazırlanmış
olması zorunludur.
6.2 Ankraj Noktası
Kullanılan sistemdeki ankraj noktası mutlaka kullanıcı konumunun üzerinde
olması gerekmektedir ve bu nokta EN 795 standardına uygun olmalıdır.
EN 795 standardına göre ankraj noktası minimum 12 kN mukavemetinde
olmalıdır.
6.3 Çeşitli Durumlar
* Bir düşüş durdurma kemeri sadece bir düşüş de bedenin düsüste
korunmasını saglamak amacı ile kullanılmalıdır.
* Bir Düşüş Durdurma sisteminde, her kullanımdan önce bir düşüş
durumunda kullanıcının zemine veya baska bir yüzeye çarpmasını
engellemek için kullanıcının altındaki mesafenin ölçülmesi gerekir.
* Birçok ürün beraber kullanıldıgı zaman tehlikeli bir durum ortaya çıkabilir.

7.3 ÜrünBakımı
Ürüne her kullanımdan sonra bakım yapmak ürünün kullanım ömrünü
uzatır. Ürünün zarar görmemesi için maksimum 30°C de su ile nötr (pH 5,5)
olandeterjan ile yıkandıktan sonra oda sıcaklıgında kurutunuz. Ürünü direkt
bir ısı kaynagına maruzbırakmayınız. Ürünü solvent veya kimyasallar ile
temas ettirmeyiniz.
7.4 Değişim ve Tamir
KAYA’dan öncedenyazılıizin alınmadanürünüzerindeherhangibirdegistirme,
tamir veya ekleme yapılmamalıdır. Ürün üzerinde herhangi bir tamir sadece
üretici (KAYA) tarafından yapılabilir. Aksi takdirde oluşacak
tehlikelerden KAYA sorumlu degildir.
7.5 Ürünün Taşınması
Ürün bir çantası içerisinde, nem ve kimyasallardan uzakta, baska diger
cisimler ile temas etmeyecek şekilde taşınmalıdır.
7.6 Ürün Periyodik Kontrolü
Ürününüzü her kullanımdan önce ve belirli periyotlarda mutlaka en az 1
defa (12ayda) üreticiye göndererek veya tanımlanmış yetkin bir personel
tarafından kontrol ettirip kullanım için tavsiye alınız.
Ürün kontrolünden sonra asagıdaki bilgilerin mutlaka kayıt altına
alınmasını tavsiye ederiz. Ürün tipi, marka, model, üretici iletişim bilgileri,
seri numarası, üretim tarihi, satınalım tarihi, ilk kullanım tarihi, bir sonraki

Always attach the carabiner to the webbing behind the ventral D ring.
Never make this connection through ventral D ring. Don’t use this
carabiner to connect lanyard or energy absorber. Carabiner must always be
used with the gate closed and locked.

1. Caution
1.1-Working at height is one of dangerous activities that can lead to
serious injuries and death. It is under the responsibility of the user to
learn appropriate usage techniques and safety methods, and apply these
in practice. In this regards, this full body harnesss should be used by only
a trained personnel or under the supervision of such personnel. Improper
use can cause serious injuries and fatal accidents.
1.2-This equipment should be a personal issue item.
1.3-This safety harness is a component of a fall arrest system and is
aimed to prevent user from falling. This enhancement itself is not suitable
for working at height, it must also be used together with CE certificated
lanyards, shock absorbers, hooks and fall arresters.
1.4- This product is rated for 150kg load capacity and must be used together
with equipment which have the same load capacity (Lanyards, Guided Type
Fall Arresters, Retractable Fall Arresters, etc..)
Warning: This equipment shall not be used outside its limitations, or for
any purpose other than that for which it is intended.There are many hazards
that may affect the performance of the equipment and corresponding
safety precautions that have to be observed during equipment utilization,
especially: trailing or looping of lanyards or lifelines over sharp edges, any
defects like cutting, abrasion, corrosion, climatic exposure, pendulum falls,
extremes of temperature, chemical reagents, electrical conductivity

3. General Specification
* Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
* This full body harness enables the user to work safely by making a
connection to a secure point with an appropriate tool. This safety harness
is manufactured in comply with standards ofEN 361:2002, EN 358:2018,
EN 813:2008, EN 12277+A1:2018 Type A and EN 1497:2007 specified in PPE
Regulation 2016/425 (EU).
4. Product Use
4.1- EN 361:2002 Fall Arrest Harness
* Full Body Fall Arrest Harness
When full body fall arrest harness is used as fall arrester, all components
of the system should comply with the requirements of EN 363 (full fall
arrest systems). Remaining equipment which are anchoring points of
harness must comply with EN 795, Lanyards must comply with EN 354,
Shock absorbers must comply with EN 355, Carabiner must comply with
EN 362.
* Dorsal and Sternal D Rings; (Figure-1)
Use only dorsal or sternal D rings of safety harness with other equipment
described in EN 363 (Shock absorber, lanyard, fall arrest systems). These
points were marked with “A” in order to be recognized easily. The maximum
rated load of the fall arrest harness is 150 kg.
Warning:The adjustment and the tightness of the buckles and webbings
should be checked regularly during use.
4.2- EN 358:2018 Work Positioning Harness
Always use side D ring with a positioning lanyard as shown in
Figure-2. Adjust the positioning lanyard with length adjustment device
so as to work comfortably with both hands free. The anchorage must be
maintained at or above waist level, and the lanyard kept taut and free
movement is restricted to a maximum of 0.6m. Waist belt is approved for
a user, including tools and equipment, with a weight of up to 150kg.A work
positioning system supports the user and allows him to position himself
precisely, supported or suspended. This product should be used together
with work positioning lanyards (EN 358) for work positioning purposes and
lanyards (EN 354) for restraint purposes with connectors (EN 362).
Warning: Work Positioning Harness should not be used for fall arrest
purposes and that a waist belt should not be used if there is a foreseeable
risk of the user becoming suspended or being exposed to unintended
tension by the waist belt. Additional arrangements may be neccesary for
work positioning or restraint with collective means (e.g. safety nets) or
,personal means (e.g. fall arrest fall systems in accordance with EN 363) of
protection against falls from a height. The adjustment and the tightness of
the buckles and webbings should be checked regularly during use.
4.3- EN 813:2008 Sit Harness
Figure-3 seat harness is used in restraint work positioning and rope access
systems, where a low point of attachments required. 2 ventral webbing
loops are attachment points to link with other devices.The maximum rated
load of the sit harness is 150 kg.A suspension trauma can occur in any
fall from height. Suspension trauma may cause the loss of consciousness.
Instructions for use should be strictly followed to avoid such icidents.User
should attach EN 12841 descending devices with EN 362 connectors using
ventral D-Ring.
Warning:Sit harness is not suitable for fall arresting purposes. The
adjustment and the tightness of the buckles and webbings should be
checked regularly during use. Both loops must always be used together.
Using single loop is forbidden as an attachment point.
Advice: User should carry out a suspension test in a safe place before using
the sit harness for the first time, to ensure that it is the correct size, has
sufficient adjustment and is of an acceptable comfort level for the intended
use.
(EN) User Guide
4.4- EN 12277+A1:2018 Type A Mountaineering and Climbing Harness
The harness can be used in mountaineering and climbing activities
including belaying and abseiling. Dorsal and sternal attachment points
are suited to use for mountaineering including rock climbing. Tie on to
the attachment points with a figure-of-eight knot.The maximum rated
load of the mountaineering harness is 150 kg.A suspension trauma can
occur in any fall from height. Suspension trauma may cause the loss of
consciousness. Instructions for use should be strictly followed to avoid
such icidents.
User should attach mountaineering equpment like EN 15151 belaying
devices, EN 12841 descending devices or other mountainering equipment to
EN 12277 harness with EN 12275 conenctor using dorsal or sternal D-Ring.
Warning:The adjustment and the tightness of the buckles and webbings
should be checked regularly during use.
Advice: The rescue harness is intended to be worn during normal working
activities and the user should carry out a suspension test in a safe place
before using the rescue harness for the first time, to ensure that it is the
correct size, has sufficient adjustment and is of an acceptable comfort level
for the intended use. This product is designed for use in normal climatic
conditions. Avoid all contact with chemical reagents or other corrosive
substances. Damp and icy conditions or chemical contact can reduce the
strength of this product.
4.5- EN 1497:2007 Rescue Harness
HarnessA rescue harness can be such that it is either intended to be used
only for rescue or it may be incorporated into the design of other types of
harnesses for personal fall protection,e.g. a full body harness. A rescue
harness is intended to be worn during normal working activities.2 Sternal
webbing loops and Dorsal D ring must beare attachment points to link.
Rescue equipment may only be used as part of a rescue system. The
maximum rated load of the rescue harness is 150 kg. (Figure-4)
Warning: The rescue harness shall not to be used as the body holding device
in a fall arrest system. There may be dangerous effects of suspension trauma
(constriction of blood vessels and pooling of blood in the limbs) to consider,
which can have fatal consequences if the pressure on the user is not released.

Advice: The rescue harness is intended to be worn during normal working

using the rescue harness for the first time, to ensure that it is the correct

4.6- Fall Clearance Distance = A+B+C+D
Figure-5; Fall Clearance (Calculation of fall clearance distance) Clearance
distance should be calculated in the working area for a possible fall. In case
of fall from height, user should be able to adjust the clearence distance in
order not to hit any object or ground.
Fall Clearance
Fall clearance is the height at which a worker must attach to an anchorage
to avoid contact with a lower level.
In order to calculate required fall clearance distance the following
measurements must be kept in mind:
A: Length of Fall Arrest System (Lanyard+Energy Absorber+Connectors)
B: Length of the Shock Absorber after a fall
C: Height of Suspended Worker
D: Safety Factor
5. Product Control and Validation
5.1 Before Every Single Use
Before the first use, the user should carry out a comfort and adjustability
test in a safe place to ensure that the correct size selection is made and
the sit harness has sufficient adjustment and is of an acceptable comfort
level for the intended use; Working at height equipment must be used as
personalized. These products must be controled on regular basis before

control form. On an adequate lighted environment apply following
controls by lying the product down on a flat surface;
* Webbings should be checked for cuts, abrasions, color change, broken
stitches and undue stretching.
*Buckles should be checked for signs of wear, cracks, deformation,
corrosion or other damages. They should function correctly and smoothly.
*D Rings and other metal parts should be checked for signs of wear, cracks,
deformation, corrosion or other damage.
*Connectors should be checked for sign of wear, cracks, deformation,
corrosion, dirt. The gate and the locking mechanisms should work easily
and without any problem. The gate should open and close completely.
*Markings should be secure and legible.
*During the controls if at least one of these deviation is found, usage of
the equipment should be suspended or retired and immediately send back
to producer for detailed inspection. No repair is allowed by unauthorised
person. Only manufacturer directions should be applied.
* The user should carry out a suspension test in a safe place to ensure
that the harness is the correct size, has sufficient adjustment and is of an
acceptable comfort level for the intended use.
5.2 During Each Use
When use product with a system , make sure that all pieces of equipment
inthe system are correctly positioned with respect to each other.
6. Supplementary Information Regarding Standard; EN 365
6.1 Rescue Plan
There must be a plan of rescue that is to be applied in case of
emergencywhich can occur during working at height. A worker who has
been incapacitated by an injury or medical condition and who is suspended
by the full body harness must be rescued immediately. So you must always
have a rescue plan for such emergency situations. For this adequately
trained personnel and rescue equipment must be on hand.
6.2 Anchor Point
The anchor point of the system comprises this product should preferably
belocated above the user or should at least at the waist level of the user.
Anattachment point below this level will cause a serious injury or death.
Theanchor point must conform to the requirements of the EN 795
standard andthe minimum strength of it must be 12 kN.
6.3 Various Situation
*A fall arrest harness is the only device allowable for supporting the body
in a fall arrest system.
*In a fall arrest system, it is essential to check the required clearance
under the user before each use, to avoid any collision with the ground or an
obstacle in case of a fall.
*Make sure that the anchor point is correctly positioned, in order to limit
the risk and the height of a fall.
* When using multiple pieces of equipment together, a dangerous situation
can result if the safety function of one piece of equipment is affected by the
safety function of another piece of equipment.
* Users must be medically fit for activities at height. Warning, inert
suspension in a harness can result in serious injury or death.
7.Kaya General Information
7.1 Life Span
The potential life time is 10 years from the date of production, it is very
difficult to define the exact service life of it as it varies according to
the frequency and intense of use, environmental conditions, correct
maintenance and storage. Recommended life expectancy of this body
harness is 10 years from date of first useIf the product has one of the
deviations below it should be withdrawn from service immediately and
should be destroyed to prevent further usage:
*It has suffered a heavy shock load or has had a load dropped onto it.
*There are discoloration, stiffness, cuts and tears, glazed or fused areas
on the webbingg.
*There are cracks, deformation, corrosion or excessive wear on the metal
parts.
*Labels (markings) are illegible or absent
*It is extremely dirty and does not respond to normal washing.
*It has come into contact with chemicals and especially acids or is even
suspected.
*Its history is unknown.
*Its life time stated in the user’s manual has expired or even it has never
been used.
*There is a slightest doubt that the products is no more safety and reliable.
7.2 Storage
Product is sold with storage bag and user guide. Additionally model and
applied standards are provided with the product. During the storage keep
the product in it’s own bag. Storage area of the product should meet
following requirements;
*Dry, no direct sun light, room temperature
*Do not store together with acids, solvents etc.
*Keep away from direct heat sources.
*If the product gets humidity during the storage, dry the product in room
temperature before usage.Nonconforming conditions may the reduce
lifespan of product.
7.3 Maintenance
Personal protection equipment should be checked regularly to make sure
that the equipment will operate properly whenever it is used Harness can
be wiped with a wet sponge, for cleaning. A mild soap and warm water not
exceeding 30ºC can be used for difficult stains. After cleaning, it should
be thoroughly rinsed in clean cold water, hung out in a dry, dark and cool
place and kept away from the direct heat sources. Harnesses should be
hung out or placed loosely in a bag or another container in order to protect
it from harmful fumes, corrosive agent or light (artificial or sunlight).
Do not use acidic or solvent chemicals!
7.4 Changes and Repair
Changing a part, repair and addition to any component to product is strictly
forbidden without written authorization of KAYA. Any repair can be
made only by KAYA. Otherwise KAYA is not responsible for any possible
consequences.
7.5 Transportation of Product
The product should be transported in a bag to protect it from humidity,
chemicals and other objects.
7.6 Periodical Inspection of Product
Because the safety of users depends upon the continued efficiency and
durability of the equipment, regular periodic examinations are needed.
Harness should be inspected by the user before each use and an additional
detailed inspection must be carried out by an authorized person in every
12 months.During the inspection of product following information should
be recorded;
*Type of the product, trade mark, model, contact information of
manufacturer, serial number,date of production, date of purchase, date
of first usage, next inspection date, problems, recommendations, name,
surname and signature of the inspector.

7.7 Guarantee
This product has 10-year guarantee against all material or manufacturing
defects under proper usage and storage conditions. Guarantee is no more
valid if; product is used wrong, tears, cut, corrosion, unauthorised repair of
