INTRODUCTION
Thank you for choosing a product from Kellfri AB. By following general safety information,
operating instructions and common sense, you will have many years of enjoyable use of the
product. Kellfris equipment and products are aimed to be use by active farmers with high
demands on functionality.
PRODUCT INFORMATION
Towed roller for ATV or tractor with clevis hitch
• Working width 150 cm
• Total width 165 cm
• Max. lled weight of 200 kg
Suitable for soil surfaces, paddocks, roads and for top-dressing of grass surfaces.
All-metal with 135-litre water volume, giving a total weight of 200 kg. Without water in the
cylinder it is light and easy to handle for storage.
Supplied with tow coupling and hitch for 50 mm tow bar..
INTENDED USE
The roller is intended primarily for preparation and leveling of the soil for new grass seeds or
grass-peat to ensure a good connection between soil and new roots or seeds.

PRODUCT SAFETY INFORMATION
• Read the instruction manual carefully before using the machine.
• Keep the area free from other people. Moving parts increases the risk of accidents. Re-
spect the danger zone of the machine! Only the operator should stand near the machine
during operation.
• Children must never be present within the work area, never let children play with the
machine.
• The tool works best and safest when it is used in that capacity it is meant for, do not try by
various means to increase machine capacity.
• Never leave the machine unattended whilst it is running. Turn o the tractor engine and
apply the parking brake whenever you leave, even for a short while.
• Never leave the machine up-lifted. The hydraulic can loose pressure and cause the equip-
ment to fall down.
• Ensure that all guards are always mounted and can not come o after use. The machine
may only be used in the manner described in this manual. Do not try to use and cut other
materials such as metal and hard plastic.
• Run the new machine at low speed the rst few hours, not high speed and full load.
• Avoid getting oil on the skin. If this occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
• Only the operator of the machine is allowed to be in nearby during operation.
• Do not use the machine without all guards are correctly tted.
• Never let children operate the machine.
• Before starting work, check and clear the work area of harmful objects like large stones,
large branches, etc. than can get caught into the machine to avoid accidents.
• Do not use the machine if excessive vibration occurs, stop the machine immediately:;
troubleshoot and rectify the fault.
• Do not use the machine in bad weather or poor visibility, eg in heavy fog.
• Be careful when working near power lines and / or telephone lines.
• NEVER try to remove things that stuck in hedge trimmer whilst it is running!
• Ensure that the machines rotating parts had stopped before any action is taken.
• Slow down when driving on slopes or uneven terrain.
• Make sure that the tractors front loader has enough counterweight when connecting the
machine. Counter weight may be necessary for safe operation.

WARNING LABELS
Make sure that the warning labels are always visible, clean the warning labels if necessary. Do
not wash with high pressure washer directly on the warning label. If any part of the decal is
worn or label becomes frayed or otherwise unreadable, order new decals. Symbols and expla-
nation decribed in this manual.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
Always use suitable protection equipment. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery while
working with the equipment. Long hair should be tied up when working equipment that has
moving parts. Use protective gloves as there is a risk of burns if any hot surfaces are touched
such as exhaust pipes, and avoid getting oil and petrol on skin. Ear defenders must be worn
whilst the engine is running. A helmet and face shield is recommended to use when using the
machine.
INSTRUCTION FOR EMERGENCIES
In case of an emergency please dial 112.
Keep cell phone or emergency phone available specially when working alone. First aid kit and
re extinguishers must be kept easily accessible during all work, maintenance and service.
SURROUNDINGS
Check and make sure that the area is clear of people, children and objects before switching
on or using the equipment. Risk of serious personal injury. Be especially careful if children are
in the area where the equipment is being use or stored. Check that there are no low-hanging
power lines within the work area. Be careful when working on slopes and near ditches.

BEFORE USE
Read the safety information and instruction manual carefully. Be sure you understand the safe-
ty measures, instruction manual and warning labels. Use common sense when operating the
machine and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
Always check the performance and the machine combination that are used. It’s highly impor-
tant these matches in a satisfactory manner. This is to ensure the product or the function and
most important yours and others safety. Do visual inspection of equipment or product before
use. Fix or replace damaged or worn parts immediately to reduce the risk of injury. Lubricate
moving parts and check that all screw-nuts and bolts are tightened.

For safety, this product should only be used in the manner described in this man-
ual.The user is responsible for the instruction to be read through and followed.
Learn and remember the correct working methods. Beginners should always keep a low speed,
use extreme caution before routine and product knowledge is achieved. The user/customer is
responsible to handle the situation correctly. The product should not be taken into use unless
it can be done in a safe way for the user.
Read the tractor’s manual before connecting machine.
WORKSTATION: The driver must remain in the driver’s seat during the the entire operation.
If the operator need to leave the tractor, the PTO must be disengaged, the tractor engine shut
o and the parking handbrake must be applied.

NEVER RUN THE HYDRAULICS WHEN THE TRACTOR IS TURNED OFF
USE
Only people who understand the safety information and instructions in this manual may op-
erate the equipment. Be alert and careful when working with the machine and only use the
equipment or product in the manner described in this manual. When working with equipment
that has moving parts, there is always the risk of injury. Be careful when working with equip-
ment equipped with hydraulic hoses ,oil under pressure can penetrate the skin. Seek medical
attention immediately if this occurs. Always work alone with the equipments that are dened
as single purpose equipments. Never overload the implement. Respect the equipment’s dan-
ger zone.

Make sure all parts have stopped rotating before taking any meassures on the machine
When the power take-o is disconnected, the power transmission shaft stops rotating.
However, this does not mean that all mower parts stops rotating directly.
Be careful and wait a few minutes to make sure all parts standstill.

PRODUCT SAFETY INFORMATION
• Visual inspect the tool before use.
• It is forbidden to stay on or near the implement during oepration and transport.
• Be careful when transporting by road and follow the trac rules. Make sure that the trac-
tor has sucient weight in the front for safe driving. Avoid quick movements when driv-
ing .
• When servicing, place the implement on a level surface.
• Only you who drive a tractor may be in the vicinity of the implement during work.
• Do not let anyone ride on the roller!
CONNECTING THE ROLLER
• Connect the roller to the ATV or a tractor mower.
• Do not forget to mount locking pins.
• Ready to use.
• Keep an eye on the work area during the work.
EXTRA WEIGHT
• Extra weight may be needed when leveling uneven ground.
• Connect the implement to the towing vehicle.
• Roll the roller until the plug on the side of the roller is positioned at the top.
• Loosen the plug.
• Fill the roller with water, use a hose.
• Screw back the plug.
• Ready to use.
• When draining water: Roll the roller until the plug ends up at the bottom of the roller.
Unscrew the plug. When the water has stopped owing, the roller may need to be tipped
to get all the water out.

RECYCLING
When recycling, the maschine must be dismantled and transported to the intended place of
the municipality. Contact your municipality for further information.
WHEN LAYING A NEW PIECE OF GRASS OR GRASS SEEDS
• Connect the roller behind the towing vehicle, follow the correct connection and rell of
the implement if extra weight is needed.
• Check the area to be leveled. Make sure that there are no stones protruding from the
work area. Clear the area of large stones or foreign objects.
• Start pulling the roller across the ground in long straight rows.
• Check that the ground is level. Some areas may need to be done in a few rounds.
• Continue to pull the roller over the area until the surface is smooth and even.
• Lay the turf or seeds over the area.
• Pull the roller over the newly laid peat / seeds to help the grass roots or seeds get good
contact with the soil.
• Keep the area well watered until the peat or seeds grow well.
WHEN EVENING THE LAWN
• Dig about 7-10 cm around the bulging area or hole. Pull o the grass and ll the hole with
soil at the same level as the lawn. Place the grass back.
• Pull the roller over the area until it is smooth and even with adjacent grass. If the area does
not appear to be even, try watering and then pull the roller over the area again. Do the
same procedure on each bump.
