SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read all instructions before using or installing this product.
When using this product, basic precautions should always be
followed including the following:
WARNING: Risk of electric shock. Grounding is required for
the outlets within the drawer(s). Connect only to a Class A
Ground-Fault Circuit-Interrupter (GFCI) or Earth-Leakage
Circuit Breakers (ELCB’s) which protects against
line-to-ground shock hazard. Use 120 V, 20 A service. Refer to
the ″Install the Grounding Outlet″section of this guide.
WARNING: Risk of electric shock. Connect this product to a
properly grounded outlet only. Refer to the ″Connect the
Plugs″section of this guide.
WARNING: Risk of electric shock. A qualified service
representative and a licensed electrician must install this
product and route all electrical wiring for the product.
Improper installation will create an electrical hazard and may
not comply with local building and electrical codes.
WARNING: Risk of electric shock. Unplug the polarized
plug and the three-prong plug from the grounded outlet
before moving, testing, cleaning, or repairing this product.
When unplugged, the electric cords will no longer be
electrically live, which will eliminate the risk of electric shock.
WARNING: Risk of electric shock. Turn electric personal
care appliances to the OFF position, then unplug the
appliance from the outlet. When turned off and unplugged,
the appliance will no longer be electrically live, which will
eliminate the risk of electric shock.

personal care appliances with heating elements to cool
completely before storing them in the drawer(s).
WARNING: Risk of property damage. Do not place or use
video equipment, such as televisions or computer monitors,
on the product surface. The underside of such equipment
creates heat and may cause damage to property.

not weather-resistant.

Tools and Materials
Before You Begin
NOTICE: Risk of product damage. Siliconized acrylic caulk must be
used to secure the lavatory to the vanity. Do not use 100% silicone
sealant, which will damage the finish of the vanity.
The qualified service representative will need assistance
assembling and moving the product during the installation
process. The product is heavy.
Make sure the finished wall is straight and plumb, and the floor
is flat and perpendicular to the finished wall.
Remove the drawers from the vanity before beginning this
installation. Doing so will ease the installation process. Refer to
your model’s ″Drawer″section contained in this guide for proper
removal.
Install the electrical supplies before installing the vanity. Refer to
the vanity roughing-in information for proper locations.
If a vessel lavatory will be installed, install the water supply and
drain lines according to the roughing-in information. The water
supply nipples must extend 3” (7.6 cm) beyond the finished wall
material.
Select the type of fastener based on the wall material. A minimum
of 50 lbs (22.68 kg) load bearing fastener is recommended.
For model K-2435: To allow the drawers to fully extend, a
minimum of 8-1/8″(20.6 cm) of clearance is required on each side
of the vanity.
For models K-2436 and K-2437: To allow the user to access the
touch switch to activate the lighting, a minimum of 2″(5.1 cm) of
clearance is required on the far left side.

Do not close the drawer(s) when electric personal care appliances
are in use.

1. Prepare the Site
Measure and mark 33″(83.8 cm) up from the floor. This will be
the height from the top of the 2x6 material to the floor.
IMPORTANT! The 2x6 material should be the length of the vanity.
Notch the studs so the front of the 2x6 material will be flush with
the edge of the studs.
Secure the 2x6 material to the studs with framing nails.
NOTE: Plumbing will be exposed and visible once the vanity
installation is complete. Chrome plumbing fittings are
recommended.
Install the water supply according to the roughing-in information
provided with your lavatory. The water supply nipples must
extend at least 3″(7.6 cm) beyond the finished wall material.
If a lavatory will be installed on your vanity, install the drain
lines according to the vanity roughing-in information.

2. Install the Grounding Outlet
NOTE: This product is equipped with two types of plugs: one
grounding plug (Figure 1) and one polarized plug (Figure 2.).
WARNING: Risk of electric shock. Grounding is required for
the outlets within the drawer(s). Connect only to a Class A
Ground-Fault Circuit-Interrupter (GFCI) or Earth-Leakage
Circuit Breakers (ELCB’s) which protects against
line-to-ground shock hazard. Use 120 V, 20 A service.
WARNING: Risk of electric shock. Connect the polarized
plug and the three-prong plug to a properly grounded outlet
only.
Grounding Requirements
•This product must be grounded. If a malfunction or breakdown
occurs, grounding provides a path of least resistance for electric
current. This will reduce the risk of electric shock.
•This product is equipped with a cord having an equipment-
grounding conductor and a grounding plug. The plug must be
plugged into an appropriate outlet that is properly installed and
grounded in accordance with all local codes and ordinances.
•This product is for use on a nominal 120-volt circuit. Make sure
that the plug is connected to an outlet having the same
configuration as the plug. Do not use a plug adapter with this
product.

Install the Grounding Outlet
Locate the electrical connections according to the vanity
roughing-in information. Refer to the grounding requirements,
local codes, and ordinances for proper installation.
Complete the finished wall. Ensure the finished wall is straight
and plumb, and the floor is flat and perpendicular to the finished
wall.
Complete the electrical installation with an outlet and cover.

3. Install the Legs
WARNING: Risk of personal injury. The vanity is heavy and
cumbersome to move. Obtain sufficient help to carefully lift
or move the vanity.
Remove the drawers from the vanity base. Refer to your model’s
″Drawer″section contained in this guide for proper removal.
NOTE: Perform this procedure with two people.
NOTE: To protect the finished surface of the vanity, perform
assembly tasks on a flat, padded work surface.
Lay the vanity top down on a flat, padded surface.
Position one leg with the curved side facing the center of the
vanity.
Insert the studs on the legs through the mounting holes of the
base.
From the inside of the base of the vanity, slide a washer and nut
onto the studs.

Make sure the leg is vertically flush with the outer edge of the
vanity.
Using the wrench provided, tighten the nuts. Do not overtighten.
Repeat this procedure for the remaining leg.
Turn the vanity upright to rest on its legs.

4. Complete the Installation
Secure the Vanity
Move the vanity against the finished wall in the desired position.
Ensure the vanity is level. If the vanity is not level, rotate the
leveler(s).
NOTE: Select the type of fastener based on the wall material. A
minimum of 50 lbs (22.68 kg) load bearing fastener is recommended.
Using fasteners, attach the vanity to the finished wall at the 2x6
material location.
Install the Vessel
CAUTION: Risk of product damage. Siliconized acrylic caulk must
be used to secure the vessel to the vanity. Do not use 100% silicone
sealant, which will damage the finish of the vanity.
IMPORTANT! If instructed to apply silicone sealant, use siliconized
acrylic caulk instead. Allow the caulk to cure for at least 30 minutes
before proceeding with the vanity installation.
Install the vessel according to the lavatory manufacturer’s
instructions.
Connect the drain and supplies.

5. Connect the Plugs
Grounding Plug Requirements
WARNING: Risk of electric shock. Do not force the
three-prong plug into the grounded outlet, modify the
three-prong plug, or use a plug adapter. The product has a
three-prong plug (Figure 1), where the third prong on a plug
provides a path to ground for electricity that is straying or
leaking from a product. This helps protect the equipment and
can help prevent electric shock. This plug will fit in a
grounded outlet only one way.
WARNING: Risk of electric shock. Unplug the three-prong
plug from the grounded outlet before moving, testing,
cleaning, or repairing this product. When unplugged, the
electric cords will no longer be electrically live, which will
eliminate the risk of electric shock.
Polarized Plug Requirements
WARNING: Risk of electric shock. Do not force the
polarized plug into the polarized outlet, modify the polarized
plug, or use a plug adapter. The product has a polarized plug
(Figure 2), which means one blade of the plug is wider than
the other. This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one
way.
WARNING: Risk of electric shock. Unplug the polarized
plug from the grounded outlet before moving, testing,
cleaning, or repairing this product. When unplugged, the
electric cords will no longer be electrically live, which will
eliminate the risk of electric shock.

•If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it
still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the
proper outlet. Do not change the plug in any way.
Connect the Plugs
NOTICE: This product is for use on a nominal 120-volt circuit and
has a grounding plug. Make sure that the plug is connected to an
outlet having the same configuration as the plug. No adapter should
be used with this product.
Connect each plug to the grounding outlet. Refer to the plug
requirements for proper connection.

Remove
Unplug the electrical cord from the electrical outlet, if applicable.
Slide the drawer out on the rails until fully extended. (1)
Remove the electrical cord from the cable clips and pull the plug
end up through the access hole in the bottom of the vanity. (2a)
Disconnect the electrical track from the vanity by removing the
two screws holding the track in place. Retain the screws. (2c)
Pinch the release latches on each rail (2b) while pulling the
drawer away from the vanity. (3)
Reinstall
Slide the rails of the vanity out until fully extended.
Align and rest the rails of the drawer on the rails of the vanity.
Route the electrical cord through the drawer compartment.
With the rails still aligned, gently push the drawer into the vanity
until the rails ″snap″into place.

Verify the drawer is properly engaged by lightly lifting each side
of the drawer upward. The drawer should stay in place on the
rails.
If the drawer lifts up, fully lift the drawer up off the rails of the
vanity. Repeat the ″Reinstall″procedure OR follow the
″Alternative Method.″
Alternative Method: Align and rest the rails of the drawer on the
rails of the vanity. Partially close the drawer, then pull the rails of
the vanity into the rails of the drawer. The rails will ″snap″into
place.
Fully extend the drawer.
Reconnect the electrical track to the vanity, then secure with the
two screws.
Route the plug end of the electrical cord through the access hole
in the bottom of the vanity.
Secure the electrical cord with the cable clips.
Slide the drawer in and out to confirm proper operation.
Plug the electrical cord into the electrical outlet.

Remove
Unplug the electrical cord from the electrical outlet, if applicable.
Slide the drawer out on the rails until fully extended. (1)
Release the electrical cord from any accessible cable clips behind
the drawer. Pull the plug up through the access hole in the
bottom of the vanity.
Pull the release latches toward you while pulling the drawer out
just enough to disengage the slides and access the end of the
electrical track. DO NOT fully remove the drawer. (2)
Gently pull the tab on top of the track clip toward you, then
disconnect the electrical track behind the drawer. (3)
Release the electrical cord from the remaining cord clips, if
applicable. (4)
Lift the drawer off the rails to fully remove the drawer. (5)
Reinstall
Slide the rails of the vanity out until fully extended.

Rest the drawer on top of the rails, then properly route the
electrical cord into the drawer compartment.
Hold the drawer in place with one hand and secure the electrical
track to the track clip.
Route the plug end of the electrical cord through the access hole
in the bottom of the vanity.
Secure the electrical cord with the cable clips.
Align and rest the drawer on the rails of the vanity.
Hold the drawer in place with one hand and pull the tab on the
bottom front of one rail toward you with the other hand. The rail
will ″snap″into place.
Pull the tab on the bottom front of the other rail toward you. The
rail will ″snap″into place.
Ensure the drawer is properly engaged by lightly lifting each side
of the drawer upward. The drawer should stay in place on the
rails.
If the drawer lifts up, fully lift the drawer up off the rails of the
vanity. Slide the rails of the vanity out until fully extended.
Repeat the ″Reinstall″procedure above.
Slide the drawer in and out to confirm proper operation.
Plug the electrical cord into the electrical outlet.
Adjust
Slide the drawer out on the rails until fully extended. (1)
Turn the drawer height adjustment wheels to adjust the drawer
height. To lower the drawer, turn the wheel on the left side of the
drawer clockwise and/or the wheel on the right side of the
drawer counterclockwise. Turn the wheel(s) in the opposite
direction to raise the drawer. (2)

Outils et matériels
Avant de commencer
AVIS : Risque d’endommagement du produit. Mastic à l’acrylique
siliconéedoit être utilisé pour sécuriser le lavabo au meuble. Ne pas
utiliser du mastic à la silicone à 100%, celà endommagera la finition
du meuble.
Le représentant qualifié en service aura besoin d’assistance pour
l’assemblage ou le déplacement du produit durant le processus
d’installation. Le produit est lourd.
S’assurer que le mur fini soit droit et d’aplomb, que le sol soit
plat et perpendiculaire au mur fini.
Retirer les tiroirs du meuble avant de commencer cette
installation. Ceci facilitera le processus d’installation. Se référer à
la section du modèle de ″tiroir″contenue dans ce guide pour un
démontage correct.
