Tools and Materials
Before You Begin
CAUTION: Risk of property damage. Do not use lithium
ion batteries with this product. Exposing lithium ion batteries
to water can result in a fire.
NOTE: Follow the installation dimensions precisely as there is no
deep roughing-in kit available for this product.
NOTE: Unless otherwise indicated, the illustrations in the
document show installation with the water supply on the left. The
valve may be flipped to accommodate a water supply on the right.
Observe all local plumbing and building codes.
Shut off the water supply.
Inspect the supply tubing for damage. Replace as necessary.
Site preparation and wall finishing may require additional tools
and materials.

1. Install the Mounting Bracket
IMPORTANT! Your faucet model may have different framing
requirements other than those shown. Consult the specification sheet
for your faucet model.
IMPORTANT! Make sure the location of the valve is correct before
securing in place. The centerline of the drain and faucet should be
in line with each other.
Construct the framing for your installation.
Secure the mounting bracket to the framing using four wood
screws.

2. Install Tubing (Recommended)
NOTE: Tubing (not provided) can be attached to the mounting
bracket to route the cables and the spout tube to the control box.
PVC fittings (not provided) are recommended.
NOTE: Consult the specification sheet to determine the control box
installation location.
Connect a straight tube to the mounting bracket. Make sure the
tube is long enough to reach the control box.
Connect a 90 degree elbow to the end of the tube at the control
box installation location.
Install the plaster guard with the screw.

3. Route the Cables and Tube
NOTE: Consult the specification sheet to determine the control box
installation location.
Finish the wall with a 1-3/4″(44 mm) hole for the spout and a
1-1/4″(32 mm) hole for the sensor cables.
Remove the plaster guard.
Feed the sensor cables and tube from the spout through the
mounting bracket and down to the hole for the control box.
Take care to avoid kinking or damaging the cables and tube.

4. Install the Spout
Position the keyholes on the spout over the screwheads on the
mounting bracket. Loosen the screws if needed.
Align the spout by rotating clockwise.
Tighten the screws to secure the spout to the mounting bracket.
Slide the wall plate over the spout until flush with the wall.
Secure the wall plate with the setscrew.

5. Install the Control Box
NOTE: Verify that the hose will reach the supply stop by attaching
the flex hose to the control box inlet.
Verify that the sensor cable is below the countertop.
Unthread the control box screws to remove the cover.
Position the control box over the hole for the spout tube and
sensor cables.
Drill pilot holes.
Use the standard wall anchors (provided) depending on your
wall material.
Feed the spout tube and sensor cables through the slot in the
control box.
Attach the control box to the wall with the arrow pointing
upward. Secure with the two screws (provided).

6. Connect the Control Box
IMPORTANT! The control box cover has slots for the spout wires
to fit. Verify that the wires are not pinched when installing the
cover.
Connect the 3-pin sensor cable from the valve cover to the 3-pin
sensor cable from the spout (red, white, and green cables).
Connect the solenoid cable from the valve cover to the solenoid
cable from the valve box (red and green cables).
Connect the 2-pin sensor cable from the valve cover to the 2-pin
sensor cable from the spout (orange and black cables).
Loosely secure the cover to the control box for future access.

7. Supply Connections
IMPORTANT! The control box cover has slots for the spout tube
and cables. Use care not to pinch the tube or cables when installing
the cover.
Inlet Connections
Connect the flex hose from the control box to the supply stop.
Outlet Connections
Feed the tube from the spout through the slot in the control box
cover.
Verify that the tube from the spout is the appropriate length to
reach the control box. Cut the tube if necessary. Remove any
burrs and sharp edges.
Insert the tube into the fitting (control box outlet end) until the
tube stops.
Verify that the tube is secure.

8. Mixing Valve - If Included
If a mixing valve is included with your product, connect the
water outlet hose to the control box outlet.
Attach the supply hose to the control box inlet and outlet of
mixing valve.
Use a 3/8″compression connection (provided) to attach the cold
supply to the mixing valve cold inlet end (marked cold on the
adjustment plate).
Use a 3/8″compression connection (provided) to attach the hot
supply to the mixing valve hot inlet end (marked hot on the
adjustment plate).
Loosen the lock screw and adjust the temperature by rotating the
adjustment plate.
Retighten the lock screw.

9. Install DC Power Unit
IMPORTANT! Verify that you are following the correct power
system installation based on your model number. For a hybrid
power unit installation, refer to ″Install Hybrid Power Unit″.
Unthread the control box screws to remove the control box cover.
Unthread the battery box screws to remove the battery box cover.
NOTE: Do not mix used and new batteries.
Insert four AA batteries (provided). Reinstall the battery box
cover and secure with the screws.
Connect the power cords.
Place the battery box into the empty space within the control box.
Secure the control box cover to the control box.
IMPORTANT! The area in front of the sensor must be free of
objects during the 2 minute learning cycle or the faucet may not
function properly.
Allow 2 minutes for the sensor to cycle through the automatic
sensing distance.

10. Install Hybrid Power Unit
IMPORTANT! Verify that you are following the correct power
system installation based on your model number. For a DC power
unit installation, refer to ″Install DC Power Unit.″
Unthread the control box screws to remove the control box cover.
Connect the power cords.
Place the hybrid battery into the empty space within the control
box.
Secure the control box cover to the control box.
IMPORTANT! The area in front of the sensor must be free of
objects during the 2 minute learning cycle or the faucet may not
function properly.
Allow 2 minutes for the sensor to cycle through the automatic
sensing distance.

11. Drain Installation
Disassemble the drain.
Apply plumbers putty to the underside of the flange and attach.
Apply thread sealant tape to the drain pipe threads. Tighten the
nut.
Connect the trapway. Wipe away excess plumbers putty.
12. Complete the Installation
NOTE: Avoid the area in front of the sensor for 2 minutes after
connections are complete. The sensor will not function correctly if it
is triggered in the first 2 minutes. Disconnect and reconnect the
power to reset the sensor.
Install the faucet trim following the directions provided.
Turn the water on to test the faucet.
Check for leaks.

Avant de commencer

REMARQUE: Suivre les dimensions d’installation de manière
précise, étant donné qu’aucun kit de raccordement profond n’est
disponible pour ce produit.
REMARQUE: Sauf sur indication contraire, les illustrations dans ce
document indiquent une installation avec l’arrivée d’eau sur la
gauche. La vanne peut être tournée pour s’adapter à une arrivée
d’eau sur la droite.
Respecter tous les codes de plomberie et de bâtiment locaux.
Fermer l’alimentation en eau.
Inspecter la tubulure d’arrivée pour y rechercher des
endommagements éventuels. Remplacer selon les besoins.
La préparation du site et la finition murale peuvent nécessiter des

1. Installer le support de fixation
IMPORTANT! Le modèle du robinet en question pourrait avoir des
exigences de cadrage différentes de ce qui est indiqué. Consulter la
feuille de spécifications pour le modèle de robinet en question.
IMPORTANT! S’assurer que l’emplacement de la vanne est correct
avant de fixer en place. L’axe central du drain et celui du robinet
doivent être alignés avec l’un l’autre.
Construire le cadrage pour l’installation en question.
Sécuriser le support de fixation sur le cadrage en utilisant quatre
vis à bois.

2. Installer la tubulure (recommandé)
REMARQUE: La tubulure (non fournie) peut être attachée sur le
support de fixation pour acheminer les câbles et le tube du bec sur
le boîtier de commande. Les raccords en PVC (non fournis) ne sont
pas recommandés.
REMARQUE: Consulter la fiche de spécifications pour déterminer
l’emplacement d’installation du boîtier de commande.
Connecter un tube droit sur le support de fixation. S’assurer que
le tube est assez long pour atteindre le boîtier de commande.
Connecter un coude de 90 degrés sur l’extrémité du tube à
l’emplacement d’installation du boîtier de commande.
Installer le protège-plâtre avec la vis.

3. Acheminer les câbles et le tube
REMARQUE: Consulter la fiche de spécifications pour déterminer
l’emplacement d’installation du boîtier de commande.
Finir le mur avec un trou de 1-3/4 po (44 mm) pour le bec et un
trou de 1-1/4 po (32 mm) pour les câbles du capteur.
Retirer le protège-plâtre.
Acheminer les câbles du capteur et le tube en provenance du bec
par le support de fixation et vers le bas jusqu’au trou pour le
boîtier de commande.
Veiller à éviter tout tortillement ou endommagement des câbles et
du tube.

4. Instale el surtidor
Coloque las bocallaves del surtidor sobre las cabezas de tornillo
en el soporte de montaje. Afloje los tornillos, de ser necesario.
Deje alineado el surtidor girándolo hacia la derecha.
Apriete los tornillos para fijar el surtidor al soporte de montaje.
Deslice la placa mural sobre el surtidor hasta que quede al ras
con la pared.
Fije la placa mural con el tornillo de fijación.

5. Installer le boîtier de commande
REMARQUE: Vérifier que le tuyau atteint le robinet d’arrêt en
attachant le tuyau flexible à l’orifice d’entrée du boîtier de
commande.
Vérifier que le câble du capteur se trouve sous le comptoir.
Dévisser les vis du boîtier de commande pour retirer le couvercle.
Positionner le boîtier de commande par-dessus le trou pour le
tube du bec et les câbles du capteur.
Percer des avant-trous.
Utiliser les chevilles d’ancrage mural standard (fournies) en
fonction du matériau de mur.
Acheminer le tube du bec et les câbles du capteur par la fente
dans le boîtier de commande.
Attacher le boîtier de commande sur le mur avec la flèche dirigée
vers le haut. Sécuriser avec les deux vis (fournies).
