Caution:
Lifting the machine in an awkward position or
transporting it in a poorly balanced position could
result in personal injury. When transporting the
machine, assign an adequate number of persons
to the job and ensure that each person can take a
good position of not being excessively loaded
(mass: approx. 21 kg (46-5/16 lb)).
1. Accessory parts
Note:
This manual provides the illustrations of the acces-
sory parts and machine that may be slightly differ-
ent in shape from yours. In that case, instead of
the illustrations, use the appearance of your
machine to follow the installation procedure. This
does not cause any significant change or problem
with the procedure.
Caution:
When removing the desk from its shipping carton,
do not hold the reinforcement bracket (as a per-
sonal injury or a deformed frame could result).

Keep this bag away from babies and
children. Do not use in cribs, beds,
carriages, or playpens.
The thin film may cling to nose and
mouth and prevent breathing. This bag is
not a toy.

2. Installation procedures
(1) Turn OFF the power switch and unplug the
power cord from the power outlet.
(2) Remove the protective tape from the desk.
(3) Holding the transportation handles at the right
and left of the machine, place the machine onto
the desk. When placing the machine, use the
positioning pin in the desk to align the machine
correctly with the desk.
Note:
• When transporting or moving the machines,
assign adequate number of persons.
• When attaching the machine, as the reference
fit the machine with the corner A and B of the
desk.
When holding the transportation handles,
be careful not to catch your fingers in the
machine.

(4) Secure the desk to the machine by two fixing
brackets A. (Two supplied screws)
(5) Slide out the second and third drawers.
(6) Secure the desk to the machine by the fixing
bracket A (left) and the fixing bracket B (right).
Fixing bracket A: One supplied screw.
Fixing bracket B: Two supplied screws.
Note:
The fixing bracket B can be placed upside down.
(7) Slide the drawers back in.
(8) Move the machine and desk to the installation
site. Then, adjust the two adjusters at the front to
let the desk sit on the floor.
(9) Attach the four stabilizers (supplied leg assies)
as shown in the illustration.
Note:
• If you proceed to install the Finisher FS-535/
FS-534SD/FS-534 after this installation, do not
attach the stabilizer to the left side of the
machine.

Use the fixing brackets to secure the unit
to the machine.
Failure to do so and an unlikely event of
leakage could result in an electrical
shock.
To reduce the risk of injury due to
unstable equipment, set stabilizers
before use.

machine or for other reasons, pull it out while
pushing the lever shown in the illustration.
