Safety instructions
This product should be installed preferably by a qualified electrician. Incorrect installation and use can entail risk of
electric shock or fire.
Before carrying out the installation, read the instructions and take account of the product's specific mounting location.
Do not open up the device. All Legrand products must be exclusively opened and repaired by personnel trained and
approved by LEGRAND. Any unauthorised opening or repair completely cancels all liabilities and the rights to
replacement and guarantees. Only use genuine accessories.

To revert to factory settings (Caution: user fingerprints must be re-recorded) :
Switch off the power supply. Keep the “Reset” button pressed and switch the power back on. Wait (10 s) for
confirmation (2 beeps). Release the “Reset” button.

General - Accessing management menus
In normal use,
press the two
keys
simultaneously
Administrator
Caution :
When both LEDs are flashing, you can scroll through the 7 menus presented on the right-hand page,
using the “Scroll” key ( ).
Both LEDs flash while the reader is in programming mode.
On each menu screen, the function indication flashes. Press the “cancel / return” key ( ) to return
to the normal use screen.
If fingerprint is not recognised,
red LED lights up for 1 s, 3 short
beeps are emitted and system
goes back to normal operation
screen.
First startup or reinstallation
Note :
On the Administrator functions:
- max. 5Administrator order numbers,
- preferably 2 fingers recorded (2 order numbers) for 2 Administrators

Note :
Main functions of this biometric reader:
- Manages fingerprints of up to 5 Administrators and 999 users,
- Relay open time adjustable between 1 and 255 s and switchable (switch function),
- Release signal received from a pushbutton (inside the premises),
- Can be configured in “Open” mode (for maintenance in interior rooms, etc ...),
- Indicator lights and audio signals,
- Operation in standalone or connected to a controller (Cat. No. 767 04).
