provided that the products have not been modied or customized
and that the products have been used as recommended in this user
manual.
If the costumer changes, repairs or uses the product in other combi-
nations than recommended by master care A/S the CE-approval no
longer applies and the guarantee becomes void.

MDR (EU) 2017/745:
Products in this user manual are CE-approved and follows the harmo-
nized standards. This means that the products are in compliance with
the essential health and safety directives. The product(-s) comply with
the standards in the Medical Device Regulation MDR (EU) 2017/745 –
Class 1.
The intended use of the product/-s:
The product is to be used bilayed to reduce friction for users with de-
creased function during e.g. transfer, dressing or training. The product
can be used to reduce the risk of shear injuries.
Correct use of the product:
Place the Nylon underneath the points/support areas where friction
is to be reduced. Always use the product double layered to achieve
maximum functionality and reduction of friction. Always remove the
product under the user after use to avoid fall injuries and risk of skin
overheating.
Warning:
Always do a risk assessment before using the product especially if
used e.g., when sitting on the edge of the bed since this poses a risk
of the user sliding/falling on to the oor. Always make sure the user
has sufcient support underneath their feet when sitting if a nylon
piece is placed underneath their bottom.
Never leave the product on the oor since this poses a risk of falling.
Risk assessment:
Always make a risk assessment and a functional assessment of the
user prior to using the product. This way using the product for trans-
ferring or moving a user, is ergonomic and legally sound.
Knowledge of the product/transferring:
It is important that the user of the product has been properly instruct-
ed in the use of the product and has read the user manual thoroughly
prior to using the product.

Life span:
The expected life span of products with nylon sliding material with
daily wear and tear and washing averagely is 1-3 years. The products
life span depends on the use, users load, washing and drying tempera-
tures and how often it is washed and dried.
Make visual inspections frequently and preferably before every use.
Products with insufcient friction reduction, defect seams, broken
material or other deciencies must be discarded. This way you will
always keep a sound and healthy work environment for both helper
and user.
Guarantee:
master care A/S provide a 2-year guarantee covering material defects
and manufacturing defects if the product has been used correctly.
Unintended events and injuries when misusing the products:
Unintended events must always be reported to the appropriate
National Authority and to master care A/S or the distributor in the
current country.
master care A/S and our distributors take no responsibility for per-
sonal injuries or product damages if the product(-s) have been used
in contravention of the by the manufacturer recommended intended
purpose or proper use of the product.

Slide Master – Positioning the Nylon Master:
2. The patient grips the opposite bed rail and
the helper takes hold of the Nylon Master/Slide
Master and straightens it out.
1. The patient bends his/her leg and grabs the
bed rail. The Nylon Master/Slide Master is
folded and inserted under the patient’s pressure
points.
3. The patient returns to a supine position and
the Nylon Master/Slide Master is now posi-
tioned correctly under the patient. Friction under
the patient’s pressure points has been reduced.

5. Turn the user to the side and pull Nylon Mas-
ter/Sling Master lightly towards you.
4. The Nylon Master/Slide Master is placed
under the patient’s pressure points.
6. The user bends his legs. The helper places his
hands on the user’s hip and knee and turns the
user to side position.
8. The patient bends his/her legs and, pushing
off, lifts his/her pelvis. The foot end may be
elevated.
7. The Nylon Master/Slide Master is placed
under the patient’s shoulder and pelvis.

Using Nylon Master to bend the legs:
10. Ideal for user´s who pushes the head into the
pillow or cannot move the head independently.
Place the Nylon Master between the user’s head
and the pillow. Support the user’s head while
moving the pillow.
9. Place the Nylon Master bilayed under the
user´s lower legs and feet, with the fold towards
the body. Use the knee bend or the free space
over the heel to place the Nylon Master.
Support the foot and knee when bending the leg
while sliding on top of the Nylon Master.

Remove the Nylon Master/Slide Master:
12. On the other side the helper takes hold of the
bottom layer of the Nylon Master/Slide Master.
11. Push the Nylon Master / Slide Master under
the lower back and bottom on one side of the
user.
13. The helper pulls the Nylon Master/Slide
Master out using weight transfer, such that the
double slide is utilized.

Do not iron.
Washing:
This product can be washed in a washing
machine at max 85 ºC.
Gentle washing and dry tumbling signicantly
prolongs the durability.
Dry cleaning:
Do not dry clean.
Detergents pH level:
This product tolerates detergents / disinfec-
tants with a pH level between 5-9.
Bleach:
Do not bleach.
Fabric softener:
Never use fabric softener as this will reduce
the sliding properties signicantly.
Maintenance:
Make visual inspections frequently and
preferably before every use. Pay attention
to torn fabric and seams etc. Products with
high friction or other deciencies must be
discarded.
Dry Tumbling:
This product may only be dry tumbled gently
and at max. 40 ºC.
Airdrying prolongs the durability signicantly.
User Manual:

before using the product.
Surface cleaning:
The surface of this product can be cleaned
with a wet cloth and soap.
Disposal:
Always make sure to follow local guidelines
when disposing or discarding the product.
Disinfectants:
This product tolerates alcoholic disinfectants
with a pH level between 5-9.
