Produkts. Sie haben sich damit für ein hochwertiges
Produkt entschieden. Die Bedienungsanleitung ist
Teil dieses Produkts. Sie enthält wichtige Hinweise
für Sicherheit, Gebrauch und Entsorgung. Machen
Sie sich vor der Benutzung des Produkts mit allen
Bedien- und Sicherheitshinweisen vertraut. Be-
nutzen Sie das Produkt nur wie beschrieben und
für die angegebenen Einsatzbereiche. Händigen
Sie alle Unterlagen bei Weitergabe des Produkts
an Dritte mit aus.
Bestimmungsgemäße
Verwendung
Dieses Produkt ist zur Lichtdekoration geeignet. Das
Produkt ist nur für den privaten Einsatz und nicht
für den gewerblichen Gebrauch vorgesehen.

Dieses Produkt kann von Kindern ab 8 Jah-
ren und darüber sowie von Personen mit
verringerten physischen, sensorischen oder
mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfah-
rung und Wissen benutzt werden, wenn sie
beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des sicheren
Gebrauchs des Produkts unterwiesen wur-
den und die daraus resultierenden Gefah-
ren verstehen. Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem
Produkt spielen. Reinigung und Benutzer-
wartung dürfen nicht von Kindern ohne Beauf-

Befestigen Sie keine zusätzlichen Gegen-
stände am Produkt.
VERLETZUNGSGEFAHR! Entfernen Sie
bei der Demontage auch das untere Stand-
rohr 3, damit es keine Gefahr darstellt
(z. B. Stolpern).

Achten Sie darauf, dass die Solarzelle 6
nicht verschmutzt ist. Dies verringert die
Leistungsfähigkeit der Solarzelle 6.
Die LED kann nicht ausgetauscht werden.
Das Leuchtmittel ist nicht austauschbar.
Sollte das Leuchtmittel am Ende seiner
Lebensdauer ausfallen, muss das ganze
Produkt ersetzt werden.
Sicherheitshinweise
für Batterien
LEBENSGEFAHR!
Batterien gehören nicht in Kinderhände. Su-
chen Sie im Falle eines Verschluckens sofort
einen Arzt auf.
VORSICHT! EXPLOSIONS-
GEFAHR!
Laden Sie nicht aufladbare Batterien niemals
wieder auf, schließen Sie sie nicht kurz
und/oder öffnen Sie sie nicht.
Werfen Sie Batterien niemals in Feuer oder
Wasser.
Setzen Sie Batterien keiner mechanischen
Belastung aus.
Gefahr des Auslaufens der Batterie
Im Falle eines Auslaufens der Batterie ent-
fernen Sie diese sofort aus dem Produkt, um
Beschädigungen zu vermeiden.
Vermeiden Sie den Kontakt mit Haut, Augen
und Schleimhäuten. Spülen Sie bei Kontakt
mit Batteriesäure die betroffenen Stellen so-
fort mit reichlich klarem Wasser und suchen
Sie umgehend einen Arzt auf.
Vermeiden Sie extreme Bedingungen und
Temperaturen, die auf Batterien einwirken
können z. B. auf Heizkörpern/direkte
Sonneneinstrahlung.
Entfernen Sie die Batterie, wenn sie längere
Zeit nicht verwendet worden ist, aus dem
Produkt.
Gefahr der Sachbeschädigung
Ausschließlich den angegebenen Batterie-
typ verwenden!
Achten Sie beim Einlegen auf die richtige
Polarität! Diese wird auf dem Batteriefach-
deckel angezeigt.
Reinigen Sie Batterie- und Gerätekontakt
vor dem Einlegen falls erforderlich.
Entfernen Sie eine verbrauchte Batterie
umgehend aus dem Produkt.
Vor der Montage
Die eingebaute Solarzelle 6des Produkts
wandelt bei Sonneneinstrahlung das Licht in
elektrische Energie um und speichert diese in ei-
nem Ni-MH-Akku. Bei beginnender Dunkelheit
schaltet sich das Produkt ein. Die eingebaute
LED ist ein sehr langlebiges und energiesparen-
des Leuchtmittel. Die Leuchtdauer ist von der
Sonneneinstrahlung, dem Einfallwinkel des
Lichts auf die Solarzelle 6und der Temperatur
(wegen der Temperaturabhängigkeit der Akku-
kapazität) abhängig. Ideal ist ein senkrechter
Lichteinfallwinkel. Unter optimalen Bedingungen
kann eine Leuchtdauer von ca. 8 Stunden er-
reicht werden. Der Akku erreicht erst nach meh-
reren Lade- und Entladezyklen seine maximale
Kapazität.
Montage
Stecken Sie das untere Standrohr 3in das
obere Standrohr 2. Führen Sie dieses nun
in den Dekorationsaufsatz 1(siehe Abb. A).
Klappen Sie das Solargehäuse 5aus
(siehe Abb. A).
Stecken Sie das Produkt mit dem Erdspieß
4in den Boden (Rasen, Blumenbeet etc.).
Hinweis: Achten Sie auf einen sicheren
Stand. Wenden Sie bei der Montage bzw.
beim Aufstellen keine Gewalt an, z. B. durch
Hammerschläge. Dies beschädigt das Produkt.
Hinweis: Um ein optimales Ergebnis zu
erzielen, stellen Sie das Produkt an einem

Ort auf, an dem die Solarzelle 6möglichst
lange direktem Sonnenlicht ausgesetzt ist.
Stellen Sie das Produkt nicht unter Büsche,
Bäume, Vordächer etc., dies vermindert den
Einfall von Sonnenlicht. Positionieren Sie
das Produkt so, dass die Solarzelle 6nicht
bedeckt oder beschattet wird.
Hinweis: Stellen Sie sicher, dass die
Solarzelle 6nicht von einer anderen Licht-
quelle, wie Hof- oder Straßenbeleuchtung
beeinflusst wird, da sich das Produkt sonst
in der Dämmerung nicht einschaltet.
Akku austauschen (Abb. B)
Hinweis: Für diesen Arbeitsschritt benötigen
Sie einen Kreuzschlitzschraubendreher.
Schalten Sie das Produkt mit dem ON-/OFF-
Schalter 8aus, bevor Sie den Akku entfer-
nen oder einlegen.
Klappen Sie das Solargehäuse 5an das
obere Standrohr 2.
Ziehen Sie das untere Standrohr 3vom
oberen Standrohr 2ab.
Öffnen Sie das Akkufach 7an der Unter-
seite des Solargehäuses 5. Drehen Sie dazu
alle Schrauben mittels eines Kreuzschlitzschrau-
bendrehers gegen den Uhrzeigersinn heraus.
Entfernen Sie vorsichtig die Abdeckung des
Gehäuses. Achten Sie darauf, das Kabel
nicht zu beschädigen. Entnehmen Sie dann
den verbrauchten Akku.
Setzen Sie einen Akku vom Typ Ni-MH,
AAA, 1,2 V /300mAh (im Lieferumfang
enthalten) in das Akkufach 7ein.
Hinweis: Achten Sie auf die richtige Pola-
rität. Diese wird im Akkufach 7angezeigt.
Setzen Sie die Abdeckung wieder auf das
Akkufach 7und drehen Sie alle Schrau-
ben mittels eines Kreuzschlitzschraubendre-
hers im Uhrzeigersinn ein.
Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Kabel nicht
eingeklemmt werden, wenn Sie das Solar-
gehäuse 5schließen.
Stecken Sie das untere Standrohr 3wieder
in das obere Standrohr 2(siehe Abb. A).
Bedienung
Produkt ein- und ausschalten
Stellen Sie den ON-/OFF-Schalter 8an
der Unterseite des Solargehäuses 5auf
die Position ON bzw. OFF, um das Produkt
ein- bzw. auszuschalten.
Hinweis: Steht der ON-/OFF-Schalter
8auf Position ON, schaltet sich das Pro-
dukt automatisch ein.
Hinweis: Schalten Sie das Produkt aus
(Position OFF), wenn sich das Produkt für
längere Zeit in Dunkelheit befindet (bei
Transport mit eingelegtem Akku) oder die
Leuchtdauer wegen sehr kurzem Lichteinfall
nicht befriedigend ist.
Akku aufladen
Klappen Sie das Solargehäuse 5in eine
horizontale Position.
Stellen Sie den ON-/OFF-Schalter 8an
der Unterseite des Solargehäuses 5auf
die Position ON, um den Akku aufzuladen.
Hinweis: Zum Aufladen des Akkus benötigt
die Solarzelle 6möglichst direktes Sonnen-
licht. Um ein optimales Ergebnis zu erzielen,
stellen Sie das Produkt an einem Ort auf,
an dem die Solarzelle 6möglichst lange
direktem Sonnenlicht ausgesetzt ist.
Die Ladedauer des Akkus bei Nutzung der So-
larzelle 6ist abhängig von der Lichtintensität
der Sonnenstrahlung und dem Einfallwinkel des
Lichts auf die Solarzelle 6. Die Leuchtdauer
des Produkts beträgt bei voll geladenem Akku
ca. 8 Stunden.
Stellen Sie die Solarzelle 6möglichst
senkrecht zum Lichteinfallwinkel auf. So er-
halten Sie die höchste Strahlungsintensität.

Das Produkt leuchtet bei Dunkel-
heit nicht, obwohl es den ganzen
Tag dem Sonnenlicht ausgesetzt
war.
Künstliche Lichtquellen wie Straßenbeleuch-
tung o.ä. täuschen dem Photosensor Tag vor.
Platzieren Sie das Produkt an einer Stelle,
wo es vor künstlichen Lichtquellen geschützt
ist.
Das Produkt leuchtet nur kurz oder
gar nicht.
Der Akku ist verbraucht oder das Tageslicht
reicht nicht aus, um den Akku aufzuladen.
Wechseln Sie den Akku oder platzieren Sie
das Produkt an einer sonnigeren Stelle.
Dieses Produkt besteht zum Teil aus sehr emp-
findlichen elektrischen Bauteilen. Daher kann es
unter Umständen zu Störungen kommen, wenn
das Produkt in der Nähe von Geräten aufgestellt
wird, die Funksignale übertragen. Entfernen Sie
diese Geräte, wenn Störungen auftreten.
Durch elektrostatische Entladungen kann es unter
Umständen zu Störungen am Produkt kommen.
Entnehmen Sie bei Störungen den Akku für
einige Sekunden und setzen Sie diesen wieder
neu ein (siehe „Akku austauschen“).
Reinigung und Pflege
Benutzen Sie keine Lösungsmittel, Benzin o.ä.
Das Produkt würde hierbei Schaden neh-
men.
Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung nur ein tro-
ckenes, fusselfreies Tuch.
Verwenden Sie bei stärkeren Verschmutzun-
gen ggf. ein leicht angefeuchtetes Tuch und
ein mildes Reinigungsmittel.
Entsorgung
Die Verpackung besteht aus umwelt-
freundlichen Materialien, die Sie
über die örtlichen Recyclingstellen
entsorgen können. Der Grüne Punkt
gilt nicht für Deutschland.

Beachten Sie die Kennzeichnung der
Verpackungsmaterialien bei der
Abfalltrennung, diese sind gekenn-
zeichnet mit Abkürzungen (a) und
Nummern (b) mit folgender Bedeu-
tung: 1–7: Kunststoffe / 20–22:
Papier und Pappe / 80–98: Ver-
bundstoffe.
Das Produkt und Verpackungsmateri-
alen sind recycelbar, entsorgen Sie
diese getrennt für eine bessere Ab-
fallbehandlung. Das Triman-Logo gilt
nur für Frankreich.
Möglichkeiten zur Entsorgung des
ausgedienten Produkts erfahren Sie
bei Ihrer Gemeinde- oder Stadtver-
waltung.
Werfen Sie Ihr Produkt, wenn es aus-
gedient hat, im Interesse des Umwelt-
schutzes nicht in den Hausmüll,
sondern führen Sie es einer fachge-
rechten Entsorgung zu. Über Sam-
melstellen und deren Öffnungszeiten
können Sie sich bei Ihrer zuständigen
Verwaltung informieren.
Defekte oder verbrauchte Akkus müssen gemäß
Richtlinie 2006/ 66/EG und deren Änderungen
recycelt werden. Geben Sie Akku und/oder
das Produkt über die angebotenen Sammelein-
richtungen zurück.
Umweltschäden durch falsche
Entsorgung der Akkus!

Akkus dürfen nicht über den Hausmüll entsorgt
werden. Sie können giftige Schwermetalle ent-
halten und unterliegen der Sondermüllbehand-
lung. Die chemischen Symbole der
Schwermetalle sind wie folgt: Cd = Cadmium,
Hg = Quecksilber, Pb = Blei. Geben Sie des-
halb verbrauchte Akkus bei einer kommunalen
Sammelstelle ab.

Das Produkt wurde nach strengen Qualitäts-
richtlini en sorgfältig produziert und vor Anlieferung
gewissenhaft geprüft. Im Falle von Mängeln
dieses Produkts stehen Ihnen gegen den Verkäufer
des Produkts gesetzliche Rechte zu. Diese
gesetzlichen Rechte werden durch unsere im
Folgenden dargestellte Garantie nicht einge-
schränkt.
Sie erhalten auf dieses Produkt 3 Jahre Garantie
ab Kaufdatum. Die Garantiefrist beginnt mit dem
Kaufdatum. Bitte bewahren Sie den Original-

Safety Information

This product can be used by children aged
from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capa-
bilities or lack of experience and knowl-
edge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the product in
a safe way and understand the hazards in-
volved. Children shall not play with the
product. Cleaning and user maintenance
shall not be made by children without su-
pervision.
Never use your product if you notice any
damage to it.
Store the product after every use in its origi-
nal packaging in order to avoid uninten-
tional damage.
Do not attach any additional objects to the
product.
RISK OF INJURY! When disassembling
the product, also remove the lower stand-
pipe 3so that it does not pose any risk
(e.g. stumbling over it).

Make sure that the solar cell 6is not dirty.
This reduces the efficiency of the solar cell 6.
The LED light bulb cannot be replaced.
The illuminant is not replaceable.
If the illuminant fails at the end of its life, the
entire product must be replaced.
Battery safety information

Batteries are not intended for children. If
accidentally swallowed seek immediate
medical attention.
CAUTION! EXPLOSION
HAZARD!
Never recharge nonrechargeable batteries
and do not short-circuit and/or open any
batteries.
Never throw batteries into fire or water.
Do not exert mechanical loads to batteries.
Risk of battery leaking
In the event of a battery leak, immediately
remove it from the product to prevent dam-
age.
Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and mu-
cous membranes. In the event of contact
with battery acid, thoroughly flush the
affected area with clean water and seek
immediate medical attention.
Avoid extreme environmental conditions and
temperatures, which could affect batteries,
e.g. above radiators/ in direct sunlight.
Remove the battery from the product if it is
not going to be used for extended periods.
Risk of property damage
Use only the recommended battery type!
When inserting the battery ensure the cor-
rect polarity! This is indicated on the battery
compartment cover.
If necessary, clean the battery and device
contacts before inserting the battery.
Promptly remove drained batteries from the
product.
Before assembly
The integrated solar cell 6of the product con-
verts solar radiation into electrical energy and
stores it in the Ni-MH rechargeable battery. The
product switches itself on when it starts to get
dark. The integrated LED is an energy-saving illu-
minant with a very long life. The burn time de-
pends on the solar radiation, the angle of
incidence of the light falling onto the solar cell
6, and the temperature (due to the tempera-
ture dependence of the capacity of the re-
chargeable batteries). The ideal situation is a
vertical angle. Given the best conditions, a burn
time of approx. 8 hours can be achieved. The
rechargeable battery will only achieve its maxi-
mum capacity after several charging and dis-
charging cycles.
Assembly
Insert the lower standpipe 3into the upper
standpipe 2. Then insert it to decoration
attachment 1(see Fig. A).
Unfold the solar casing 5(see Fig. A).
Use the ground spike 4to place the prod-
uct with into the ground (lawn, flower bed,
etc.).
Note: Ensure that the product stands firmly
in place. Do not use any force when assem-
bling or setting up the product, e.g. hammer
blows. This damages the product.
Note: For the best results, put the product
in a place where the solar cell 6is ex-
posed to direct sunlight for as long as possi-
ble. Do not put the product under bushes,
trees, canopies etc. as this reduces the inci-
dence of incoming sunlight.
Position the product in such a way that the
solar cell 6is not covered or in the shade.
Note: Make sure that the solar cell 6is
not near another source of light such as
street or garden lighting as the product will
otherwise not switch itself on automatically
when it starts to get dark.

Replacing the rechargeable
battery (Fig. B)
Note: For this step, you will need a cross head
screwdriver.
Switch the product off by means of the
ON/OFF switch 8before removing or
inserting the rechargeable battery.
Fold the solar casing 5up against the
upper standpipe 2.
Pull the lower standpipe 3off the upper
standpipe 2.
Open the rechargeable battery compart-
ment 7on the bottom of the solar casing
5. To do so, unscrew all screws anti-clock-
wise using a cross head screwdriver.
Carefully remove the housing cover. Ensure
that you do not damage the wiring. Take
out the used or exhausted rechargeable
battery.
Insert a Ni-MH, AAA, 1.2V /300mAh
rechargeable battery (included in delivery) into
the rechargeable battery compartment 7.
Note: Ensure correct polarity. This is indi-
cated in the battery compartment 7.
Place the cover back onto the rechargeable
battery compartment 7again and turn all
screws clockwise by means of a cross head
screwdriver.
Make sure that the cables do not get
jammed when you shut the solar casing 5.
Insert the lower standpipe 3back into the
upper standpipe 2again (see Fig. A).
How to use
Switching the product
on and off
Switch the ON/OFF switch 8on the bot-
tom of the solar casing 5into the ON or
OFF position to switch the product on or off.
Note: If the ON / OFF switch 8is in the
ON position, then the product switches on
automatically.
Note: Switch the product off (OFF posi-
tion) if the product will be in the dark for
any length of time (e.g. when transporting it
with a rechargeable battery inserted) or the
burn time is not satisfactory due to a very
short incidence of light.
Charging rechargeable
batteries
Open the solar casing 5into a horizontal
position.
Switch the ON/OFF switch 8on the bot-
tom of the solar casing 5into the ON po-
sition to recharge the rechargeable battery.
Note: The solar cell 6requires sunlight
that is as direct as possible to recharge the
rechargeable battery. In order to get the
best possible results, place the product in a
place where the solar cell 6is exposed to

about 8 hours with a fully charged rechargeable

Avant le montage
La cellule solaire intégrée 6dans le produit
transforme la lumière du soleil en énergie élec-
trique et la stocke dans un accumulateur Ni-MH.
Le produit s’allume à la tombée de la nuit. La DEL
intégrée est une ampoule économe en énergie
d’une grande longévité. La durée d’allumage
dépend du rayonnement solaire, de l’angle d’in-
cidence de la lumière sur la cellule solaire 6et
de la température (en raison de la dépendance à
la température de la capacité de l’accu). La
condition idéale est un angle d’incidence verti-
cal. Dans des conditions optimales, la durée
d’allumage peut atteindre env. 8 heures.
L’accu ne délivre sa capacité maximale qu’après
plusieurs cycles de chargement et déchargement.
Q Montage
Insérer la tige inférieure 3dans la tige
supérieure 2. Enfichez l‘ensemble dans le
chapeau décoratif 1(voir ill. A).
Ouvrir le boîtier 5(voir ill. A).
Plantez le produit avec le piquet 4dans le
sol (gazon, platebande de fleurs, etc.).
Remarque : veillez à assurer une stabilité
correcte. Ne pas faire usage de force, par
ex. utiliser un marteau, lors du montage et
de l’installation. Cela endommagerait le
produit.
Remarque : afin d’obtenir un résultat
optimal, placez le produit dans un endroit
où la cellule solaire 6est exposée le plus

longtemps possible aux rayons directs du
soleil. Ne placez pas le produit sous des
arbustes, arbres, auvents, etc. Cela réduit
l‘incidence de la lumière solaire. Position-
nez le produit de manière à ce que la cel-
lule solaire 6ne soit pas recouverte ou à
l’ombre.
Remarque : assurez-vous que la cellule
solaire 6ne soit pas exposée à une autre
source de lumière, par exemple éclairage
de la cour ou de la rue, autrement, le pro-
duit ne s’allumera pas à la tombée de la nuit.
Remplacer l’accu (ill. B)
Remarque : cette opération requiert l’usage
d’un tournevis cruciforme.
Éteindre le produit en basculant l‘interrup-
teur ON/OFF 8avant d’enlever ou
d’insérer la pile.
Fermer le boîtier 5sur la tige supérieure 2.
Démonter la tige inférieure 3de la tige
supérieure 2.
Ouvrir le compartiment accu 7sur la face
inférieure du boîtier 5. Pour cela, dévisser
les deux vis au moyen d’un tournevis cruci-
forme en tournant dans le sens contraire
des aiguilles d’une montre.
Enlever prudemment le couvercle du boîtier.
Veiller à ne pas endommager le câble.
Enlever l’accu usé.
Insérer un accu de type Ni-MH, AAA,
1,2V /300 mAh dans le compartiment
accu 7.
Remarque : vérifier que la polarité est
correcte. La polarité est indiquée dans le
compartiment accu 7.
Replacez le couvercle sur le compartiment
d‘accu 7et vissez toutes les vis dans le
sens des aiguilles d’une montre avec le
tournevis cruciforme.
Vérifier que le câble n’est pas pincé lorsque
vous refermez le boîtier 5.
Insérer la tige inférieure 3dans la tige
supérieure 2(voir ill. A).
Utilisation
Mise en marche et
arrêt du produit
Basculez l’interrupteur ON/OFF 8sur la
face inférieure du boîtier solaire 5en posi-
tion ON ou OFF, pour allumer ou éteindre
le produit.
Remarque : si l‘interrupteur ON/OFF 8
se trouve en position „ON“, le produit se
met automatiquement en marche à la
tombée de la nuit.
Remarque : éteindre le produit (position
OFF), lorsque le produit reste longtemps
dans l’obscurité (par ex. lors d’un transport
avec accumulateur inséré) ou que la durée
d’éclairage n’est pas satisfaisante en raison
d’une incidence lumineuse insuffisante.
Chargement de l’accu
Rabattre le boîtier 5en position horizon-
tale.
Basculez l‘interrupteur ON/OFF 8sur
la face inférieure du boîtier solaire 5en
position ON, pour charger la batterie.
Remarque : pour recharger l’accumula-
teur, la cellule solaire 6doit si possible
être directement exposée aux rayons so-
laires. Afin d’obtenir un résultat optimal,
placez le produit dans un endroit où la cel-
lule solaire 6est exposée le plus long-
temps possible aux rayons directs du soleil.
La durée de rechargement des batteries en cas
d‘utilisation de la cellule solaire 6dépend de
l‘intensité lumineuse du rayonnement solaire et
de l‘angle d‘incidence de de la lumière sur la
cellule solaire 6. La durée d‘éclairage du pro-
duit est d’env. 8 heures lorsque l’accumulateur
est totalement rechargé.
Placer la cellule solaire 6le plus perpen-
diculaire possible à l’angle d’incidence de

la lumière. Vous obtiendrez ainsi l’intensité
de rayonnement optimale.

Des sources de lumière artificielle telles que
l’éclairage de la rue ou autre source simi-
laire perturbent le capteur photosensible.
Placez le produit à un endroit situé à l’écart
d’autres sources de lumière artificielle.
Le produit ne s’allume que
brièvement, voire pas du tout.
L’accumulateur est usé ou la lumière du jour
ne suffit pas pour recharger l’accumulateur.
Remplacez l’accumulateur ou placez le
produit à un endroit mieux exposé.
Ce produit se compose entre autres de compo-
sants électriques fragiles. Sous certaines circons-
tances, il peut donc se produire des interférences
si le produit est installé à proximité d’appareils
émettant des signaux radio. Il peut s’agir entre
autres de téléphones mobiles, d’appareils ra-
dio, de postes CB, de télécommandes et de
fours à micro-ondes. Éloigner ces appareils en
cas d’interférences.
Les décharges électrostatiques peuvent dans cer-
taines conditions, causer des pannes du produit.
En cas de panne, enlever l’accu pendant
quelques secondes, puis le réinsérer (voir
«Remplacer l’accu»).
Nettoyage et entretien
N’utilisez aucun solvant, essence ou produit
similaire. Cela endommagerait le produit.
Uniquement utiliser un chiffon sec anti-effilo-
chant pour le nettoyage.
Utiliser un chiffon bien essoré, le cas
échéant imbibé de détergent neutre, pour
éliminer les taches tenaces.
Recyclage
L’emballage se compose de matières
recyclables pouvant être mises au
rebut dans les déchetteries locales.

Kans op lekken van de batterij
Als de batterijen lekken dient u deze direct
uit het product te halen om beschadigingen
te voorkomen.
Vermijd contact met huid, ogen en slijmvliezen.
Spoel in geval van contact met batterijzuur
de desbetreffende plekken direct af met vol-
doende schoon water en raadpleeg onmid-
dellijk een arts.
Vermijd extreme omstandigheden en tempe-
raturen die invloed op de batterijen zouden
kunnen hebben bijv. radiatoren/ direct
zonlicht.
Verwijder de batterij uit het product als
deze gedurende een langere periode niet
is gebruikt.
Gevaar voor beschadiging van het
apparaat
Gebruik uitsluitend het aangegeven
batterijtype!
Let bij het plaatsen van de batterijen op de
juiste polariteit! Deze wordt aangegeven in
het batterijvakje!
Reinig de contacten van het product en van
de batterijen zo nodig voordat u de batterij-
en plaatst!
Verwijder de lege batterij direct uit het pro-
duct.
Vóór de montage
De geïntegreerde zonnecel 6van het product
zet het licht bij zonnestraling om in elektrische
energie en slaat deze op in de Ni-MH-batterij.
Bij beginnende donkerheid schakelt het product
zich in. De ingebouwde LED is een duurzame en
energiebesparende lamp. De verlichtingsduur is
afhankelijk van de zoninstraling, de invalshoek
van het licht op de zonnecel 6en de tempera-
tuur (op grond van de temperatuurafhankelijk-
heid van de accucapaciteit). Ideaal is een verti-
cale invalshoek van het licht. Onder optimale
omstandigheden kan een verlichtingsduur van
ca. 8 uur worden bereikt. De accubatterij bereikt
pas na meerdere laad- en ontlaadcycli de
maximale capaciteit.

j Steek de onderste buis 3in de bovenste
buis 2. Steek deze vervolgens doorhet
decoratie-opzetstuk 1(zie afb. A).
j Klap de zonnecelbehuizing 5uit (zie
afb. A).
Plaats het product met de grondpen 4in
de grond (gazon, bloemperk etc.).
Opmerking: zorg voor een veilige stand.
Pas bij de montage c.q. het plaatsen geen
geweld toe, bijv. hamerslagen. Hiermee be-
schadigt u het product.
Opmerking: voor een optimaal resultaat
plaatst u het product op een plek waar de
zonnecel 6zo lang mogelijk aan direct
zonlicht wordt blootgesteld. Plaats het pro-
