Introduction
Congratulations on the purchase of your new product. You
have selected a high quality product. The instructions for
use are a part of this product. They contain important infor-
mation about safety, usage and disposal. Before using the product,
please familiarise yourself with all the operating and safety instructions.
Only use the product as described and for its indicated purpose. When
passing this product on to third parties, please be sure to include all
documentation.
Intended use
This product is intended as a decorative light for dry indoor locations.
This product is only intended for private use, not commercial purposes.
This product is only suitable for use indoors, in dry and
enclosed rooms.

Never leave children unsupervised with the packaging materials.
Choking hazard. Keep children away from the product.
DANGER TO LIFE!
Batteries are not intended for children. Do not leave batteries lying
around. There is a danger that these will be swallowed by children
or pets. If they are accidentally swallowed seek immediate medi-
cal attention.
This device may be used by children aged 8 years and up, as well
as by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities,

or lacking experience and knowledge, so long as they are super-
vised or instructed in the safe use of the product and understand
the associated risks. Do not allow children to play with the product.
Do not allow children to clean or maintain the product unsupervised.
Do not use the product if you notice any signs of damage.
FIRE HAZARD!
Do not short-circuit the batteries. The battery may overheat, ignite
or explode.
EXPLOSION HAZARD!
Never throw batteries into fire or water. Never recharge
non-rechargeable batteries! The batteries may explode.
WEAR SAFETY GLOVES!
Skin contact with leaking or damaged batteries may result in
chemical burns; therefore always wear suitable protective gloves.
Remove drained batteries from the device. Very old or used batter-
ies may leak. The chemicals inside may damage the product.
Remove the batteries from the device if it will not be used for a
prolonged period.
Always use batteries of the same type (see section „Technical data“).
Regularly check the batteries for signs of expiry.
Never expose the product to high temperatures or moisture as this
could damage the product.
Avoid mechanical strain on the product!
In the event of damage, repairs or other problems with the light,
please contact an electrician.
Do not use old and new batteries together.
Remove packaging prior to use. RISK OF OVERHEATING!
Store the product in the original packaging after use to prevent
accidental damage.

This product does not contain any parts that can be serviced by
the user. The bulbs cannot be replaced.
Never electrically connect the product with another product.
The LEDs are permanently connected to the fairy lights and are
non-replaceable. Should one or several LEDs be damaged, the
product must be rendered useless and disposed appropriately.
Initial use
Inserting/ replacing batteries
Open the battery compartment 3by removing the battery
cover 5.
Insert two batteries 6, 1.5V AA, in the battery compartment 3.
Close the battery compartment 3by reinstalling the battery
cover 5.
Switching on and off
Use the ON/ OFF switch 2to switch the product on or off.
Setting the Timer
Set the ON/ OFF switch 2to the Timer position (see Fig. A).
The product will stay on for 6 hours and will then automatically
switch off for 18 hours. This pattern will automatically repeat.
Set the ON/OFF switch 2to the OFF position to disable the
timer function.

Cleaning and care
Do not clean the light with water or other liquids.
Use a feather duster for cleaning purposes.
Disposal
The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials,
which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.
The Green Dot is not valid for Germany.

Observe the marking of the packaging materials for waste
separation, which are marked with abbreviations (a) and
numbers (b) with following meaning: 1–7: plastics/20–22:
paper and fibreboard/ 80–98: composite materials.
The product and packaging materials are recycla ble, dispose
of it separately for better waste treatment. The Triman logo
is valid in France only.
Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details
of how to dispose of your worn-out product.
To help protect the environment, please dispose of the prod-
uct properly when it has reached the end of its useful life
and not in the household waste. Information on collection
points and their opening hours can be obtained from your
local authority.
Faulty or used batteries /rechargeable batteries must be recycled in
accordance with Directive 2006/66/EC and its amendments. Please

return the batteries/rechargeable batteries and/ or the product to the
available collection points.
Environmental damage through incorrect dis-
posal of the batteries /rechargeable batteries!
Batteries/rechargeable batteries may not be disposed of with the usual
domestic waste. They may contain toxic heavy metals and are subject
to hazardous waste treatment rules and regulations. The chemical sym-
bols for heavy metals are as follows: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury,
Pb = lead. That is why you should dispose of used batteries /recharge-
able batteries at a local collection point.
Warranty and Service
Note: this product includes a 36 month warranty from the date of
purchase. The product has been produced to the highest standards
and thoroughly checked before dispatch. However, if defects in manu-
facturing or material arise during the warranty period, please contact
your retailer immediately.
The warranty does not cover damages due to improper handling,
failure to comply with the operating instructions, or manipulation by
unauthorised persons. Most malfunctions are caused by incorrect
operation. Therefore please first refer to the operating instructions if a
malfunction occurs.
Please contact the Uni-Elektra GmbH service address with any questions.
The product can only be returned to us after contacting us. Postage
due shipments will not be accepted. Warranty services do not extend
or restart the warranty period of 36 months.

BÆR BESKYTTELSESHANDSKER!
Udløbne eller beskadigede batterier kan medføre ætsninger på
huden ved berøring; bær derfor altid velegnede beskyttelseshand-
sker.
Fjern brugte batterier fra apparatet. Meget gamle eller brugte
batterier kan have lækage. Den kemiske væske medfører skader
på produktet.
Fjern batterierne fra apparatet, hvis dette ikke bruges i længere tid.
Anvend altid batterier af samme type (se kapitel „tekniske data“).
Kontrollér batterierne regelmæssigt for tegn på lækage.
Udsæt produktet aldrig for høje temperaturer og fugt, da
produktet ellers kan tage skade.
De skal forhindre mekaniske belastninger af produktet!
Henvend Dem ved beskadigelser, reparationer eller andre
problemer med lampen til en elektrofagmand.
Anvend ikke gamle og nye batterier sammen.

LED-pærene er vedvarende forbundet med lyskæden og kan ikke
udskiftes. Hvis én eller flere LED-pærer er beskadigede, så skal
produktet gøres ubrugeligt og bortskaffes korrekt.
Ibrugtagning
Indsætning/udskiftning af batterier
Åben batterirummet 3, idet De fjerner batterirumslåget 5.
Læg to batterier 6, 1,5V AA, i batterirummet 3.
Luk batterirummet 3, idet De indsætter batterirumslåget 5igen.
Tænd/sluk
Tænd, henholdsvis sluk for produktet ved hjælp af TÆND-/SLUK-
kontakten 2.
Indstilling af timerfunktion
Stil TÆND-/SLUK-kontakten 2på position timer (se afbildning A).
Produktet er tændt i 6 timer og slukkes efterfølgende automatisk
for 18 timer. Dette tændingsmønster gentages automatisk.

Stil TÆND-/SLUK-kontakten 2på position OFF, for at slukke for
timerfunktionen.
Rensning og pleje
Lampen renses ikke med vand eller andre væsker.
Brug en støvekost til rensning af produktet.
Bortskaffelse
Indpakningen består af miljøvenlige materialer, som De kan
bortskaffe over de lokale genbrugssteder. Det grønne miljø-
mærke gælder ikke for Tyskland.

ringen, disse er mærket med forkortelser (a) og numre (b)
